1. City Stroll
This weekend evening
The whole family strolls the city
The car circulates around
The evening road with breezy wind
You hold a paper kite
Spinning it in your hand
You gaze at the flying clouds
Hovering over the street
With mom and dad
Into the green park
And the entire family
Sitting on the train
The child sits in the middle
With mom on one side
Dad on the other
Going up and down the train
Around the hills and slopes
The train runs super fast
So much fun, oh friends!
Weekend stroll and play
So enjoyable!

2. Time to Play
The drum announces playtime
Flocks of white-feathered birds
Feet leave the sitting perch
Emerging into the sunlit yard
Here, the girls gather
Skipping rope with rhythmic grace
Laughter echoing freely
Leaves of the banyan tree sway
On the other side, boys engage
Kicking the shuttlecock with vigor
Beneath the morning's rosy glow
Joy surges and excitement flows
Hands extend with cups of water
Hands share slices of ripe mango
Hands offer colorful candies
Friendship more precious than ever
The drum marks the classroom return
Swiftly, the birds hurry
In line, they enter the class
New lessons turning a new page.

3. Thunderstorm
Rumbling thunder, flashing light
Wind whisks clouds away
Raindrops patter incessantly
Rain crawls across the levee
No need for fretting
Calm down, oh, fields of rice!
This noon, the rice fields weary
Because of the scorching sun
This evening, the storm arrives
Bringing refreshing rain showers
The rice fields bask in joy
Reveling in a song of glee
And tomorrow, the rice grows
The rice will spread its branches
The rice will bloom with flowers
For a new harvest season.

4. Paper Blooms
Who claims it's paper
Sunshine doesn't lose its hue
Who claims it's paper
Rain doesn't make it dew
Branches stretch delicately
Midst the scorching noon
Flowers flaunt each petal
White and pink festoon
Thin as if made of paper
Rain or shine can't mar
A name so delicately thin
Yet resilient like a star.

5. Morning Dreams
In the morning dream, I meet the sun
Carrying a bag full of sunshine flowers
Scattering golden blooms everywhere
In the morning dream, I cross green meadows
With many exotic flowers
Bearing the names of our classmates
In the morning dream, I see a river
Flowing with white milk
Passing through the rosy dawn
In the morning dream, I clearly hear
The words of the rooster:
- Wake up! Study now!...

7. Back to the Village
Summer break, a visit to the roots
Up the fields, bathing in the river
Visiting grandma, then grandpa
Flying kites, fishing... pure joy
Evenings spent admiring the moon
Listening to grandpa's tales of yore
Grandma roasts fragrant peanuts
Inviting both, mesmerizing stories unfold

8. Little Piglets
Oink oink, little piglets
Sucking milk, round and content
Playing chase and catch
Curly tails and cute snouts
Belly clearly round and plump
Tiny legs and wiggly ears
Eyes blinking cutely
They frolic and play
Sometimes eager for fun
Sometimes lost in nursing
Then rolling over to sleep
So adorable!
Awakening with a sound
Oink oink, little piglets!

9. Moon and Streetlights
- Moon, why so playful
Quickly disappearing from sight
I stand amidst the sky
All night without closing my eyes
- You stand in one place
While I traverse everywhere
Tasks in a constant loop
I circle around the Earth.

10. Only One Mother
How many fish swim
How many waves play
How many water droplets
Within the full lake?
How many winds blow
How many stars in the sky
How many white clouds
Drifting high up so high?
How many vibrant flowers
How many singing birds
How many sunbeams
Spread gold on the meadow's fur?
How many faces exist
How many smiles to see
One thing's for sure, my dear
You have only one mother.
