1. Hyundai Grand i10 – 1,436 units

2. Toyota Fortuner – 1,346 units

3. Kia Morning – 1,282 units
In recent years, with increasingly congested and stressful urban traffic, compact and convenient A-segment cars have become the new trend. What was once seen as a disadvantage due to their small size is now an advantage in the competitive automotive market. In Vietnam, this segment is best represented by the compact, affordable, and easy-to-repair Kia Morning.
Compared to its predecessor, the 2019 Kia Morning maintains the same design with front fog lamps and rear reflectors, along with two air vents that enhance the car's sporty and robust appearance. Additionally, the halogen projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, and the signature tiger-nose grille continue to serve as iconic design elements, leaving a strong impression on many Vietnamese car buyers.
Despite its compact size, the 2019 Morning offers a surprisingly comfortable ride, with a well-designed interior that provides sufficient legroom and headspace for passengers up to 1.7 meters tall.
The 1.25L Kappa 4-cylinder DOHC engine remains the same for the 1.25 variant, delivering 86 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 120 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The car is available with two transmission options: a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.
In terms of safety, the 2019 Morning comes equipped with ABS (anti-lock braking system) and EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution), but both the Morning Si variants only have a single airbag for the driver. This shortcoming is addressed in the higher-end S variant, which comes with two front airbags and an added reverse camera. Given its price and the general standards of the segment, the safety features on the 2019 Morning are acceptable.
Overall, the 2019 Kia Morning remains a compelling choice in the small urban car segment, with its youthful design, well-equipped interior, fuel-efficient performance, low maintenance costs, and good maneuverability in dense urban areas. It is an ideal vehicle for daily commuting, family transport, or occasional weekend trips.

The three variants of the 2019 Innova (E, G, and V) each feature different seat materials: regular fabric for the E, premium fabric for the G, and leather for the V. The seating arrangement varies, with the V having a 2-2-3 configuration and the G and E offering a 2-3-3 configuration.
The 2019 Innova is powered by a 1.998L 4-cylinder engine (1TR-FE) producing 136 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 183 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The G and V variants come with a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the E variant is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. The car features two driving modes: ECO for fuel efficiency and POWER for high performance. The main difference between the two modes is the engine's rpm range, throttle sensitivity, and exhaust sound. ECO mode is smoother and quieter, keeping the rpm under 2,000, while POWER mode delivers a more aggressive performance with higher revs, reaching over 3,000 rpm.
In the Vietnamese market, the 2.0 E and G variants are a great choice for those who run businesses such as passenger transport or car rentals, offering a good balance of space, durability, and essential features. This distinctive feature is now a hallmark of Honda’s current design language. The front and rear bumpers have been subtly refined to blend more harmoniously with the car’s overall look. The front retains Kia's iconic tiger-nose grille, now with a more three-dimensional look. The fog lamps have been moved lower and feature lenses, while the front bumper air intakes resemble the design style of the new Honda Civic, giving the Cerato a more aggressive and stylish appearance.
