Mấu Island is one of the 21 islands, large and small, in the Nam Du Archipelago, located in Nam Du commune, Kiên Hải district, Kiên Giang. It is about 90 km from Rạch Giá city, with a 3-hour high-speed boat ride from Rạch Giá's port to the island. Mấu Island covers an area of about 200 hectares, with over 120 households scattered across the island's low-lying center. The island's pier, made from concrete piles and wooden planks, is not suitable for large vessels. On the left of the pier stands the local commune office and a small temple. The island has the third highest population density in the archipelago, with simple homes scattered across the lower part of the island. Most of the residents work in fishing and are known for their warm hospitality.

Mốt Island is located in Bãi Thơm commune, on the northeastern tip of Phú Quốc Island. There are two main routes to reach Mốt Island: one is along Nguyễn Trung Trực street, from Dương Đông to Bãi Thơm; the other is from Dương Đông to Hàm Ninh, and then following the coastal dirt road. The island is only about 200 meters from Phú Quốc, so there is no need for a boat to reach it. In the past, you had to walk across a raised path over the sea to get there, but now a bridge has been built to make the journey easier, though the walk on the sea is still an exciting experience. The water here is shallow and crystal-clear.
From Mốt Island, you can clearly see the border of Cambodia, which is only about 4-5 nautical miles away. The sand may not be as white as that on Sao Beach, but the water is just as clear as any other beach around Phú Quốc. The first striking feature when you arrive is the dense growth of seagrass, creating an almost surreal environment with lush green surroundings. Along the island’s only stone-paved path, you will find small huts perfect for camping in privacy without disturbance. Pirate Island, located in Tiền Hải commune, Hà Tiên district, Kiên Giang province, is part of the Hà Tiên Archipelago, which consists of over 16 islands of various sizes, with the largest being Hòn Tre Island. The island is 28 kilometers from Hà Tĩnh beach and about 40 kilometers from Phú Quốc. The name 'Pirate Island' comes from mysterious tales of pirates in the past, and some local legends claim it was once a hideout for treasures and vast amounts of ancient gold and silver.
The weather on Pirate Island is divided into two distinct seasons: the rainy season from May to October, and the dry season from November to April.
