2. Sweden
This is a country consistently ranked in the top 10 countries with the fastest internet speeds in the world, averaging 20.6 Mbps, a 32% increase from 2015. With a speed of 20.6 Mbps, you'll rarely encounter buffering issues even when streaming bandwidth-intensive software/applications.

3. Norway
The average internet access speed in Norway is 21.3 Mbps, an increase of over 68% from 2015, allowing this country to jump to second place in this report (last year Norway was only in third place). 4. Switzerland

5. Hong Kong
Hong Kong became the first country to achieve internet access speeds over 60 Mbps in 2013, with the current average speed per person standing at around 19.9 Mbps.
