1. Tuna Porridge with Water Spinach
Ingredients:
- 1 slice of tuna
- 1 bunch of Japanese water spinach (or spinach)
- 1 handful of rice for porridge
- Bone broth or chicken broth
Instructions:
- Cook the porridge using a rice cooker. Use bone broth or chicken broth for a flavorful and nutritious porridge.
- While waiting for the porridge to cook, bring a pot of water to boil, add the tuna and a few slices of ginger to poach the fish.
- Rinse the Japanese water spinach thoroughly and chop finely.
- Once the fish is cooked, remove the meat, discard the skin and bones.
- Mash the fish into a paste, seasoning with 1 teaspoon of fish sauce.
- Heat a little cooking oil in a pan, then add the fish and stir-fry over medium heat until fragrant, making sure not to overcook to avoid drying out the fish.
- You can store the fish in the refrigerator and take out as much as needed for the day to add to the porridge.
- Scoop the desired amount of porridge (with broth) into a small pot, add the Japanese water spinach and stir over low heat. Season with a little more fish sauce, then turn off the heat.
- Serve the porridge in a bowl and add the fish, mixing well for the baby to eat. Tuna paste can also be served with rice for a delicious meal.


2. Tuna Porridge with Mung Beans
Ingredients:
- Tuna: 30g
- Rice for porridge: 35g
- Mung beans: 15g
- Shallots, scallions, coriander
- Seasonings
Instructions:
- Rinse the rice and mung beans thoroughly, soak for about 3 hours if desired, then put into a pot, add water and simmer.
- Clean the tuna, finely chop, marinate with chopped shallots and seasonings if the baby is over 1 year old.
- Heat oil in a pan, sauté the chopped shallots until fragrant, add the tuna and stir-fry briefly.
- When the porridge is cooked, add the tuna, stir well, bring to a boil, add chopped coriander, then turn off the heat.
- Pour the porridge into a bowl and serve the warm tuna porridge to your baby.


3. Tuna Porridge with Water Spinach
Ingredients:
- Tuna: 30g
- Water spinach: 30g
- Mabu porridge: 35g
- Shallots
- Cooking oil
Instructions:
- Clean the tuna thoroughly, then finely chop.
- Heat a little cooking oil in a pan, sauté the chopped shallots until fragrant, then add the tuna and stir-fry until cooked.
- Pick and wash the water spinach, then blend finely.
- Cook the Mabu porridge until soft, then gradually add the tuna and spinach, stirring well. Simmer until the spinach is cooked, then serve to your baby for a nutritious meal.


4. Tuna, Brown Rice, Coriander, and Carrot Porridge
Ingredients:
- Brown rice, sticky rice
- Tuna
- Carrot, coriander, green onions
- Seasonings, olive oil
Instructions:
- Thoroughly wash and clean the tuna, then drain and cut into thin slices. Place in a clean bowl and add fish sauce and chopped green onions for marinating.
- Heat oil in a pan and add all the tuna, tossing to coat and make fragrant. Mash or finely grind the tuna for even distribution in the porridge.
- Add rice to a pot and simmer until the porridge boils. Peel the carrots, wash them, and slice them thinly before adding them to the porridge to simmer.
- Once the porridge is simmering, add all the tuna from the bowl into the pot. Simmer gently for about 30 minutes until the fish is cooked through. Stir well to distribute the tuna evenly in the porridge.
- When the porridge is cooked, add finely chopped coriander. Adjust the seasoning according to taste. Serve warm to your baby.


5. Tuna, Winter Melon, and Cowpea Porridge
Firstly, rinse the tuna thoroughly, then steam until tender, remove the flesh from the bones. Heat olive oil with onions until fragrant. Add the tuna and let it absorb the seasoning. Clean and slice the green beans and winter melon. Blanch them in boiling water, then finely chop or mash. Cook rice in a pot for congee, then add the tuna meat and stir well. Once the congee starts to boil, add the green beans and winter melon, stir for another while, then turn off the heat. Add cheese or fish sauce, olive oil according to taste. Serve warm to the child.


6. Tomato Sauce Tuna Porridge
Ingredients:
- Frozen porridge
- Tuna
- Scallions, coriander, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots
- First, rinse ¼ piece of tuna thoroughly, then remove the flesh from the bones. Heat some oil in a pan, add scallions, and tomatoes to sauté until fragrant, then add the tuna meat and stir well. Peel and clean the carrots and potatoes.
- Then boil the carrots and potatoes until cooked. Put them in a blender to grind finely. Pour water into rice to cook porridge, when the porridge is almost cooked, add the tuna meat with tomato sauce and mix well. Continue to simmer until boiling, then add the finely ground carrots and potatoes and stir everything well.
- You can also add chopped coriander or scallions for extra aroma before turning off the heat.

7. Red Beetroot Tuna Porridge
Ingredients:
- Tuna
- Red beetroot
- Sticky rice, regular rice
- Scallions, dried shallots
- Seasoning, cooking oil
- Peel and clean the red beetroot, then finely chop them like pomegranate seeds.
- Clean the rice and pour it into a pot to cook porridge. Simmer until the porridge boils, then add the prepared ingredients including red beetroot.
- Continue to simmer until both the rice and red beetroot are soft and mushy.
- Clean the tuna thoroughly and pat dry. Heat oil in a pan, sauté the shallots until fragrant, then add the tuna to fry until crispy and golden.
- When the tuna is cooked, turn off the heat, remove the flesh from the skin. Add the tuna meat to the cooked porridge, mix well, and add a little cleaned and finely chopped scallions before turning off the heat.


8. Tuna Porridge with Potatoes
Ingredients:
- Frozen porridge
- Tuna
- Scallions, coriander, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots
- Steam the tuna until cooked, remove the fish bones and discard, and mash the remaining meat separately. Similarly, steam the potatoes until cooked, then mash them as well.
- Cook the rice porridge, then add the mashed tuna and potatoes prepared above, stir well.
- When cooked, season with spices, add about 3 small tablespoons of fish sauce and a little cooking oil, then turn off the heat. Serve warm to the child.


9. Sweet Potato Tuna Porridge
Ingredients:
- Glutinous rice
- Regular rice
- Tuna
- Sweet potatoes
- Cooking oil
- Scallion heads
- Fish sauce
- Clean the tuna, cut into thin slices, marinate with scallion heads and fish sauce.
- Heat cooking oil in a pan, stir-fry the fish until fragrant.
- Cook glutinous rice and regular rice until soft, add chopped sweet potatoes.
- When the porridge is cooked, add the fish. Then, add finely chopped coriander.

10. Tuna Carrot Porridge
Ingredients:
- Regular rice
- Glutinous rice
- Tuna
- Carrots, cilantro, scallions
- Clean the tuna, cut into pieces, then steam or boil until cooked. Once cooked, finely chop or mash it and marinate with a little fish sauce.
- Peel and clean the carrots, then grind them into a smooth paste.
- Mix glutinous rice with regular rice, wash thoroughly, then cook over low heat until it becomes porridge.
- When the porridge is cooked, add the tuna and carrots, and cook until fully cooked. Then add chopped scallions and cilantro.
- Adjust seasoning to taste and serve to the child.
