1. Vinegar and Yogurt
The abundant acetic acid in vinegar and lactic acid in yogurt will help cleanse your knees and elbows, revealing brighter skin.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of yogurt and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
- Apply this mixture to your skin.
- Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water.
- Repeat this process 3-4 times a week.
Another simple way to lighten the skin is to mix apple cider vinegar with some water and apply it to your elbows and knees using a cotton ball. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse off.


2. Sugar and Olive Oil
Homemade exfoliant made from sugar and olive oil will nourish, moisturize, and remove dead skin cells from your skin.
- Combine equal amounts of sugar and olive oil to create a smooth mixture.
- Apply it to your knees and elbows and massage in circular motions for about 5 minutes.
- Repeat weekly.
This exfoliant can also be used to cleanse your facial skin. Just make sure not to scrub too harshly on the skin surface, as it can damage your skin.


3. Oatmeal
Along with many health benefits, oatmeal is another effective way to achieve flawless skin. You will need lemon juice, oatmeal, and salt.
- Mix the juice of 1/2 lemon, 1/2 tablespoon oatmeal, and a pinch of salt.
- Apply this exfoliating mixture in circular motions on your knees and elbows for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse off with warm water.
- Repeat this process 3-4 times a week for the best results.
You can also combine 2 tablespoons of oatmeal with 2 tablespoons of milk and apply it to darkened areas for 10 minutes. Then rinse off with water. This mixture will leave your skin soft, smooth, healthy, and glowing.

- After each shower, apply coconut oil to acne-prone areas of the skin.

You can also add 1/2 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice to 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and gently massage onto your knees and elbows for a few minutes.

Potatoes are rich in the enzyme catecholase, which can naturally lighten your skin tone. Using potatoes daily will soften your skin and help you get rid of dark patches.
- Grate a potato, extract the juice, and apply it to your skin.
- Leave it on your skin for 15 minutes, then rinse off with water.
- Apply moisturizer.
You can also use a sliced potato to rub on your elbows and knees for about 10-15 minutes, then rinse off.


7. Turmeric
