1. Cat Ba Island
Location: Cat Ba Island is situated in the southern part of Halong Bay, offshore of Hai Phong City and Quang Ninh Province, approximately 30 km from the center of Hai Phong City and about 25 km from Halong City.
Cat Ba Island is the most popular destination in Halong Bay, with every travel company offering a trip to this island. It has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve. Location: The cave is located on Bo Hon Island surrounded by caves like Bo Nau Cave, Me Cung Cave, Luon Cave, and Ti Top Island...

3. Virgin Cave
Location: Virgin Cave is located on Bo Hon Island along with the Surprising Cave system, Fairy Lake, Luon Cave... about 15 km south of Bai Chay.
Virgin Cave is one of the most famous caves in Halong Bay. Its allure comes from its glittering, mystical, and mysterious atmosphere. Right in front of the cave entrance is a curtain of stalactites dyed with ancient colors. The two walls of the cave are sturdy stalactite blocks stretching out like sharp swords protecting the cave. The cave ceiling consists of large stalactite blocks hanging down like rows of trees providing shade...
However, what truly captivates tourists is the legend associated with it. Legend has it that a beautiful woman committed suicide in the cave after being forced to marry the lord who ruled the fishing grounds. Here, her body turned into stone. Another similar legend tells of this young lady attempting to escape from the lord's coercion to marry him because her father couldn't repay a debt. When fishermen found her body, they enshrined her here and built a small shrine inside the cave.

4. Wooden Head Island
Location: Located in the southwest of Halong Bay, Quang Ninh Province; 4km from the tourist pier.
Wooden Head Island is known for its large and colorful caves, including many stalactites, some of which are over 20 meters high. The island is currently home to many freshwater species such as birds, reptiles, especially the golden-haired monkey population living in herds of 10-15 individuals. Inside the marine basin is a lush green mangrove forest, which is a breeding ground for seabirds, bottom vegetation, clams, and oysters...
From a distance, the cave entrance is blue like a jellyfish, through 90 stone steps leading to the cave entrance. If Thien Cung Cave is magnificent and modern, Wooden Head Cave is solemn and majestic. The cave is divided into three main sections. The outer section has a vaulted shape overflowing with natural light, the cave ceiling is a giant 'oil painting,' depicting pristine natural landscapes, including herds of elephants foraging, deer in a daze, sleeping lions... in very vivid poses.

5. Bull Head Island
Location: Located in the southeast of Halong Bay, Bull Head Island is 500m east of Hang Trai Island and about 28km from Bai Chay tourist pier.
When you come to Halong and want to find a gentle, peaceful, and serene feeling, Bull Head Island is the perfect choice. With what nature has bestowed, this place has completely captivated every visitor with its own beauty and allure. Once you're here, you can't miss visiting Ba Ham Lake, a famous tourist destination known by many since ancient times.

Inside Bull Head Island, there are 6 lakes, the most famous of which is Ba Ham Lake. 6. Chaotic Beach
Location: Located along the coast of Halong Bay, Quang Ninh province.
Chaotic Beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Quang Ninh tourism land. 7. Thousand-Door Fishing Village
Location: Thousand-Door Fishing Village is located in Hung Thang Ward (Halong City) in the calm sea area surrounded by rocky mountains. The village is far away from the shore, sometimes tens of kilometers away from the mountains like valleys on the sea.
If you visit Halong without visiting Thousand-Door Fishing Village, it is indeed a regret. The scenery here is adorned with majestic limestone mountains and fishing villages scattered along the water, resembling a breathtaking watercolor painting. These factors have helped Thousand-Door Fishing Village become one of the 16 rare villages that still retain their original charm in the world. 8. Yen Tu Mountain
Location: Yen Tu Mountain is located in Thượng Yên Công Commune, Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province.
Since ancient times, Yen Tu Mountain has been known as a spectacular place and is listed as one of the scenic landscapes of Vietnam. With majestic and sacred scenery, Yen Tu Mountain has been attracting a significant number of tourists. The road to Dong Pagoda is about 6000 meters long and takes about 6 hours to walk, but now there is a cable car system, making transportation more convenient.
Along the way to Yen Tu Mountain, there are also some tourist attractions such as Thap To, One-Roof Pagoda, Bao Sai Pagoda, Yen Ky Sinh Stone Statue, Ngọa Vân Hermitage, Chess Table, eco-tourism areas Thac Vang (Golden Waterfall) and Thac Bac (Silver Waterfall). Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen Monastery was built on the foundation of the Lan Pagoda where King Tran Nhan Tong preached to sentient beings. This is the largest Zen monastery in Vietnam.

9. Co To Island
Location: Co To Island borders Vinh Thuc Sea of Mong Cai City and Cai Chien Sea of Quang Ha District; to the west it borders Van Hai Sea of Van Don District; to the south it borders Bach Long Vi Sea of Hai Phong City; to the east it borders the international boundary.
Co To Island is considered one of the most attractive destinations in Halong with over 50 islands, big and small rocks, and stunning beaches. With fresh air and simple natural scenery, this is an ideal place for swimming and relaxing in the summer. When visiting Co To, you must visit Van Chay Wharf and Hong Van Beach. These are famous landmarks on Co To Island with many interesting activities amidst the pristine landscape.
Visiting Co To, you will surely be captivated by the pristine and beautiful beaches here, and Hong Van Beach is one of the destinations that will make you feel that way. Located on the eastern side of Co To Island, Hong Van Beach is quiet and peaceful, with gentle waves because of Thanh Lan Island blocking the wind from the sea. 10. Tuan Chau Island
Location: Tuan Chau Island tourist area is about 8km from the center of Halong City.
Tuan Chau Island is famous for its smooth white sandy beaches stretching along the clear blue water surrounded by green pine hills and extremely cool, fresh climate. In addition, Tuan Chau Island also has many restaurants with diverse architecture and specialties, along with many professional performance clubs. With beach sports activities, water music, and many other services, Tuan Chau Island has become a highly attractive island in Halong.
At Tuan Chau Island, tourists can participate in underwater sports activities: high-speed water skiing; parasailing, windsurfing; fishing on Halong Bay; rowing; hot air balloon sightseeing of Halong Bay or mountain climbing, camping. Services: dolphin show, sea lion, seal, circus, martial arts serving guests continuously 3 times/day on all days of the week except Monday, water music park.
