The Kawasaki Ninja H2R, a track-only version, is not street-legal in Vietnam due to its lack of mirrors and headlights. According to Kawasaki representatives, this model is imported solely for collectors, displays, or racing purposes. Released in October 2014, the Ninja H2R was the first commercially available motorcycle with a supercharged engine. Powered by a 998cc inline-4 engine paired with a supercharger, the H2R produces 300 horsepower and 164 Nm of torque. To this day, it remains the most powerful motorcycle in the world.
One month after the release of the H2R, Kawasaki launched the street version, the H2. The H2 added necessary street components such as mirrors and lights, and its power was reduced to 203 horsepower, though both models share the same supercharged engine (the H2’s power has since been upgraded to 242 horsepower). Officially, the Ninja H2R can reach speeds of up to 380 km/h, though in practice, its top speed may exceed this limit. On July 30, 2016, racer Kenan Sofuoglu rode the H2R to a speed of 400 km/h on the Osman Gazi Bridge in Turkey. The bike was equipped with its original engine, special Pirelli tires, and racing fuel. The H2R stands out with its sleek, muscular design, complemented by a chromed green trellis frame. Ducati has just revealed the details and images of the superbike 1199 Panigale R, first introduced in October 2012. According to Ducati, the 1199 Panigale R is 'the best in its class, a special machine developed with the highest technical standards and specifications taken from Ducati Corse racing bikes, the ones used in the World Superbike Championship.' With the release of the 1199 Panigale R, Ducati also unveiled updates across the Panigale lineup, including a new heat protection system, the latest engine control electronics, and upgraded traction control. The Ducati 1199 Panigale R is equipped with electronically adjustable Ohlins suspension, a monocoque frame with four adjustable points to offer different seating positions for various riding styles, and a titanium cylinder design in the engine. The bike's bodywork and many components are made from carbon fiber to optimize weight. Thanks to a lighter crankshaft and enhanced cylinders, the L-Twin engine of the Ducati 1199 Panigale R generates an impressive 195 horsepower. Damon also promises a safety feature known as CoPilot, which uses sensors to monitor the surroundings. The Hypersport shares a monocoque frame and key upgrades with the HyperFighter model.

5. Ducati Superleggera V4
The Superleggera V4 has made its way to Vietnam, with one of the 500 global units bearing the number 405. It features an impressive 234 horsepower engine and weighs just 152 kg, even lighter than the Honda SH350i scooter. On March 31st, Ducati’s official distributor in Vietnam introduced this breathtaking model at a price of nearly 6 billion VND, making it the most expensive commercial motorcycle ever sold in the local market.
The Ducati Superleggera V4 belongs to Pham Tran Nhat Minh, a prominent supercar and luxury motorcycle enthusiast based in Ho Chi Minh City. On the same day, he also purchased four other Ducati motorcycles, totaling a value of approximately 9 billion VND.
As the most powerful and expensive commercial motorcycle from Ducati, the Superleggera V4 incorporates many technologies directly derived from Ducati's MotoGP racing bike, the Desmosedici. The bike has been meticulously designed to optimize the power-to-weight ratio for top-tier performance. It’s part of the Panigale V4 series, and only 500 units will ever be produced globally. The first Superleggera V4 to arrive in Vietnam was owned by Minh Nhua, a leading figure in the local high-performance motorcycle scene.
Key Features:
- Almost every part of the Superleggera V4 is crafted from high-end carbon fiber, including the main frame, subframe, swingarm, rims, tail fairing, and front/rear fenders. The bike’s aerodynamic design is inspired by the Panigale V4, featuring a mix of sharp and smooth lines to achieve both sportiness and optimal aerodynamics. It’s the only motorcycle in the world with a carbon fiber frame and is street-legal.

Powered by a 580cc V4 engine producing 195 horsepower at 13,000 rpm, the MMX 500 can easily reach speeds of 310 km/h—an astonishing feat even for some 1000cc superbikes. With specs like these, the MMX 500 is undoubtedly one of the most powerful 2-stroke motorcycles ever made, offering incredible acceleration and top-tier performance.
