1. Why do we have to prove the obvious?
Many students, parents, and even educators often wonder: 'Why do we have to study Mathematics?', and there are some students who come up with amusing questions like: 'Why do we have to prove the obvious?'
Today, let me briefly explain why we study Mathematics.
Firstly, Mathematics is a brain development subject, helping the brain adapt to various challenges, finding the fastest and most effective solutions. Scientists have proven that logical reasoning problems help the brain develop quickly. Learning a new complex formula will make our brain adapt to new things, so when faced with complex problems, our brain will quickly perform at its best!
The second reason is to apply Mathematics to real-life situations! For example, when I buy 10 eggs, each costing 5,000 VND. How much do I have to pay the seller? So, when studying Mathematics, we will immediately apply those seemingly useless problems to real-life situations!
The third reason, which I believe is the most important, is that nowadays, many colleges and universities such as Economics, Medicine, Banking, Preschool Education... require us to excel in Mathematics. When you enter the world, a vast future awaits you if you excel in Mathematics!

2. Why learn about a place we've never set foot in?
Next, I want to talk about Geography, a subject that many people dislike. They think that what they learn is not useful, just a waste of time. And they say: 'Why learn about a place we've never set foot in?'. But each subject and curriculum has been researched for a long time by scientists and aims to develop human understanding and reasoning!
Studying Geography will take us to many different countries. And a great benefit is knowledge! Let me give you an easy-to-understand example, imagine you're a talented CEO, owning a large company. Because you want to expand the company, you decide to invest in the fishing boat industry at sea. You want to choose a country with potential demand for fishing boats, so which country would you choose? Based on natural geographical factors, climate, and suitable terrain for the product your company produces. Which country would you choose? If you don't understand Geography, what then? Would you choose Laos instead of other countries with seas?
That's just a small example. If you study this subject well, I believe you will be a talented investor, and of course, the door to success will open for you!

3. Why does the author have so many thoughts that she 'blabbers' like that?
Literature is a subject that people often classify as both boring and exhausting during school. Because many students still think that studying Literature is very sleepy, yet there are still a few students who are very fond of this subject.
Many students have thought: 'Why does the author have so many thoughts that she blabbers like that?', 'Who doesn't know their mother tongue, why bother learning?'... and many other humorous thoughts that students come up with!
About this subject, as a student myself, I also feel bored when studying. But there are many things that very few people know about this subject. I see that nowadays everyone sends their children to learn foreign languages like English, French, Russian, Japanese... but very few parents send their children to learn Literature. Perhaps they still hold a very outdated mindset, that is, everyone knows their native language, why waste money learning it? But in my opinion, Literature is so important that it always goes hand in hand with Mathematics. In competitions, graduations... Literature is always present. The question is why? Why do the Japanese value Japanese more than English? It's because it's the language, the quintessence of each nation in the world.
Currently, if you want to become a professor, doctor, journalist, writer, reporter... then Literature is one of the decisive subjects. I hope that through this article, you will have more progressive thoughts and love this subject more!

4. Why learn English when Literature is all goose eggs?
English is the most common language today. In many countries around the world, English is extremely important, and Vietnam is no exception. Many people say English is hard to learn, studying for over ten years as students and still only knowing a few sentences: hello, thank you. I strongly believe that partly it's because we ourselves haven't tried hard enough, haven't read, written, and listened enough, which leads to the current situation. And partly it's also because of the teaching staff.
Additionally, if you want an easy job, you must have a certain level of English proficiency.
In exams, English is always a very important subject. If you want to communicate, study with foreigners, you also need to know English. If you want to help the country develop, it requires you to know English as well. I hope you stop having misguided thoughts and study English well!

5. Let the past rest in peace, shall we?
'Let the past rest in peace, shall we?' - I think this is a very good suggestion from students when studying History! And through this question, it also reflects the reality of today's students! Unjust wars, righteous wars, provocative questions, complexities, difficult-to-remember milestones... will make many students dislike this subject! I think if teachers speak more than write, students will find it very easy to understand, whether through projector lessons, real surveys, or through stories, perhaps students wouldn't be history blind as they are today!
History records almost all past events, and that's what we need to know. A simple example of Vietnamese history, without this subject how would we know the merits of our ancestors? How would we know that when Vietnam was invaded, our nation was strong, using the power of patriotism and intelligence to fight back against powerful nations?
How would we know the people who sacrificed themselves for us to be able to sit in school today? I think our students not only need to understand but also need to grasp it in order to awaken themselves, to live worthy of the country, of those who have passed away.

6. I don't want to sing
Many people have a passion for Music, but many also detest this subject. Perhaps the reason is that students still think that Music is not related to important exams, especially from high school onwards, as this subject is no longer taught. And because students and parents still believe that Music is a waste of time without any benefits. Many parents still hold the view that if their child does not have a musical talent, this subject is unnecessary!
But there is a fact that scientists have proven that music helps improve mood and longevity. When we stand up to sing, even though we are embarrassed because we don't sing well, through many times like that, we will develop a skill of standing in front of a crowd. Music will make us happier and more loving life, bringing friends and relatives closer together! So be confident and raise your own voice!

7. I don't want to be a doctor, nurse, or morgue attendant
Next, I will analyze the effects of biology, such as the opinion: 'I don't want to be a doctor, nurse, or morgue attendant!' In my opinion, Biology is a very interesting subject! And this is also a subject that many people like. Some for passion, some for money... but ultimately, this is a 'hot' subject in schools. If you want to be a doctor or nurse, you also need to study this subject well.
And to explain the statement above, I think this is an incorrect viewpoint because students study not only to work but also to apply a lot in real life. An example is why humans walk on two legs while dogs walk on four? Only biology can explain these questions. And when you study this subject well, you will know how to eat properly, what pregnant women should do...
Let's work together to develop this promising subject!

8. Chemistry and the Bank of Equations
When thinking about Chemistry, many people immediately think of a bank of gigantic reaction equations. When I was young, I often heard that Chemistry was very difficult, some even said it was harder than Math. However, as I grew up and gradually became familiar with this subject, I found it wasn't that difficult.
I think even though Chemistry has many reaction equations, as long as we try, it's just normal, my friends. If you aspire to take the A or B block exams, then you must study this subject well. Once your efforts are awakened and properly utilized, reaction equations, moles, volume, concentration, cations... will no longer be obstacles on your path to the future!

9. Physics is indeed a nightmare
Now we'll analyze the subject of Physics. From what I observe, those who aren't good at Math also tend to struggle with Physics. Because Math and Physics have an intimate relationship with each other. And many complain about this subject, as Physics is both difficult to understand and hard to memorize. Like other subjects, I find that almost all Vietnamese students are dissatisfied. The question is, do students in other countries feel the same way as those in Vietnam? From my observation, students in developing and some developed countries share similar thoughts. Take Japan for example, I really admire their teaching and learning methods, especially the punctuality in everything they do.
Back to Physics - a subject that some still call a 'nightmare', I believe that besides the difficult exercises, there are still merits to it. For example, when explaining phenomena in life, by studying this subject you'll understand why dust often sticks to the blades of a fan. What is Ohm's Law? How is Newton's Law stated? And thousands of other great discoveries, all of which are found in Physics!

10. Physical Education Goes Hand in Hand with Health Care
Every time it's physical education class, many students complain of headaches, sore legs, tiredness... while in the previous class, they were full of energy. I believe physical education is a subject for improving health and especially for developing height during the adolescent years, yet many students refuse to exercise. Through warm-up exercises, our bones become more flexible. Through activities like 'counting trees', we improve our health, making our bodies adapt better to strenuous activities.
But many people think it's tiring and detrimental to health. Do you know why people in other countries are taller than Vietnamese people? Why do they have physical education classes up to 7 times a week? It's because it's good for our health, Vietnamese people tend to be lazy with exercise, so when we go to advanced countries, we are always shorter and lighter than them. Knowing this, I really hope that you will try to exercise and eat properly to be able to hold your head up high!
