1. Distance Yourself from Negative Influences
In life, there are encounters that suddenly make a person more positive, but there are also relationships, gradual contacts that lead a person deeper into darkness, sinking deeper into the mud and becoming increasingly miserable. Like our elders often say, 'near ink is black, near light is bright,' choosing the relationships around you is choosing the direction your life will take. You should distance yourself from those who have a negative influence on you. Although this will make them unhappy, they will think you are separating yourself from everyone else and they will criticize you, but it is necessary if you want to be a better person, to escape from negative influences.
There are many people who are not at all positive around us and they are like a bad environment, affecting our spirit, energy, and behavior. As individuals, we cannot make negative people disappear from this world. They will always be there to remind us to cultivate positivity for ourselves. To eliminate negative people, you need to have positive friends, positive relatives around you. They are the ones who will specifically point out who is too negative, who has a bad influence on you. When faced with difficulties caused by negative people, seek out a positive friend to share with, to receive advice and positive energy from them to move forward.

2. Appreciate the Present
Some may think that wealth, allure, or luxurious possessions bring happiness. However, gratitude is the fundamental foundation for peace and happiness in life. Being grateful for the present, appreciating the simplest things we have is true happiness. It's not what you don't have in the present that will make you happy in the future, but if you don't appreciate what you currently have, you won't appreciate what you have in the future either. Gratitude generates greater energy for your mind and body, creates positive moods, optimism, helps you sleep better, and fosters deeper connections with others.
Gratitude is not only for the young but also for the elderly, and even those with chronic illnesses or disabilities can improve their health by feeling grateful. One basic thing you should know is not to wait for something good to happen to feel grateful; actively cultivate your gratitude. Life presents us with choices, opportunities, and challenges. When things don't go as you wish, try to focus on what went right instead of dwelling on what went wrong. Express gratitude to those who need your help. Helping others can also improve your physical and emotional health. Be grateful for everything right now.

3. Avoid Using Phone, Tablet, or Laptop Before Sleep
You should refrain from using your phone, tablet, or laptop before sleep because it can disrupt your sleep quality and productivity. However, almost everyone struggles with this habit. Phones, tablets, and laptops often emit blue light, which plays a crucial role in determining human mood, activity energy levels, and sleep quality. This blue light is abundant in early morning sunlight, and direct exposure to it in the morning can temporarily halt the production of melatonin - a sleep-inducing hormone, helping people stay alert...
Many of us have the habit of using phones or electronic devices such as laptops, tablets for hours before going to bed. This seems to be a very normal thing in modern society. This behavior has been proven to cause sleep disturbances, reduce vision, and impair memory. However, recent studies by Chinese scientists have initially shown that this habit can also be a factor in causing depression. People often use electronic devices in the evening because that's when they have free time. These devices emit bright blue light directly into the eyes, reducing the body's ability to produce melatonin and interfering with the ability to fall asleep and reducing sleep quality. Therefore, it's best to keep away from your phone, tablet, or laptop after dinner. You can watch TV, but you should sit far enough away from the screen.

4. Embrace Trying Even if You May Fail
The risks in career are indeed frightening, but if successful, the rewards are even greater than you imagine. Worse than failure is not daring to try anything. What are you waiting for? Don't let your youth slip away before you realize that you have never dared to take risks, dared to test yourself because the longer you wait, the more afraid of failure you will become. A successful leader is someone who knows the value of success from their failures. He would rather lose money and know why he failed than earn money without knowing why. He knows the value of accepting risks, making mistakes, and learning from failure. To become a true leader, you must not fear failure, accept risks, and move forward.
If you fail, find out why and keep moving forward with your newfound value. Use failure as a stepping stone to success. That is the premise to becoming a successful leader. Many of us tend to give up as soon as we start because we think that what we do will not yield the desired results. Taking risks does not mean risking life and wasting youth in vain. Every decision you make always carries risks, and it's important that you prepare action plans and think about the worst-case scenario you may face. Sometimes the process brings you something even greater than the destination. Why not give it a try? Who knows, you might succeed, and if not, you'll know why you failed and consider it an experience for next time.

5. Be Ready to Learn
In life, no one can know everything, and everything is always full of surprises, so always be in the mindset of being ready to learn everything. There are things you see that may not be true, things you think are good but may not be, people you think are bad but are good to you, and things you think are bad but may not be. Just act, just open doors. Moving from one door to another will lead you to a brighter future, where you don't need to know why you have to learn, you simply want to learn and conquer every challenge you encounter! There is a saying that 'Thoughts create actions. Actions create habits. Habits create character. Character creates destiny.'
To achieve success, it's not luck falling from the sky, nor is it naturally given, it starts from the smallest habits in work and life. You can't create outstanding success if you live in your own comfort zone. Life is a journey with interesting lessons. Keep learning continuously from books, from life to improve yourself every day. According to a study, 88% of successful rich people say they read 30 minutes or more every day to enrich knowledge or skills for work; while only 2% of failures do. So, continuously learning and improving yourself is the way for you to grow and become more confident.

8. Mastering the art of saying 'no'
According to a study by the University of California (San Francisco), the more difficult it is to say no, the more likely you are to experience stress, exhaustion, and even depression, undermining human autonomy. For many, saying 'no' is harder than anything else. Saying 'no' shows that you're not afraid to express your opinions. Smart individuals, when it comes time to say 'no,' are decisive and don't hesitate with statements like, 'I don't think I can do it' or 'I'm not sure.' Just remind yourself that saying 'no' is an action that demonstrates you can control yourself both now and in the future by avoiding negative impacts from commitments that can't be fulfilled. Forgetting the ability to say 'no' to everything or burdening yourself with unnecessary responsibilities can destroy you and exacerbate underlying issues you may not even be aware of.
Search within yourself for the proper way to refuse so you have the strength and ability to say 'no' to things unrelated to you. Sometimes you perceive yourself as bold, always successful, or capable of doing multiple things at once. You're always the first to step up when there's work to be done, ready to stay up late, wake up early, manage household chores, finances, and handle various projects or simply assist with someone else's work. If you find yourself in this situation, you likely enjoy shouldering responsibilities. You think there's still time to cram in one more task. Taking on additional responsibilities makes you feel useful, powerful, and more important in the eyes of others. But do people really need you as much as you think or give you the respect you expect? The answer isn't always yes, and what's necessary is learning how to refuse others.

9. Embracing Reminders of Your True Self
Do you know what 'self' is? It's what makes us feel most ourselves, doing what we love, living true to our inner nature. You can shout loudly when you're sad, dance to folk music, or play on a slide with kids, for example. Whatever you do, take time to enjoy moments that remind you of who you are; it will make you love life more. Everyone has their own strengths, so never deny yourself; doing so means losing the opportunity to improve yourself. Being true to yourself, you won't have to be exhausted, suffering from wearing a mask when facing others.
If you want to change yourself, don't care about what others say, but still be yourself against the criticisms of those around you. Don't let yourself be controlled by others' words; trust in your own abilities. Just live sincerely, honestly, and you won't be bothered by others' sarcastic remarks. Embrace change in yourself for your own best interests. Accept every aspect of yourself, take time to treat yourself well, and happiness will come to you. To live your best life, you must know how to enjoy life, eagerly seek what makes you happy. Only you can build your future life, recognize the true value of yourself to grow. And only you can bring true happiness to yourself!

10. Setting Achievable Goals
Setting goals for yourself is something everyone should do. However, when setting goals, consider your ability to achieve them. Avoid setting overly ambitious or unrealistic goals, as failing to achieve them can lead to disappointment and guilt. Instead, pursue goals with specific action plans and high feasibility. Don't chase what you think will make you happy. Happiness and peace are entirely within your control, and good habits will make it easy for you to achieve them.
Your goals must be practical and achievable. If you set unrealistic goals, you will fail and be disappointed. Break down big goals into smaller, more achievable ones. Doing so will make you less discouraged by large goals and give you a sense of accomplishment. When planning the time needed to achieve goals, allocate extra time in case your plan takes longer than expected. This will reduce time pressure. So set yourself some goals, but be realistic. Set challenging yet attainable, practical goals.
