1. When asking: 'Is it clear ahead?'
In the usual way, flash your high beams three times towards the oncoming vehicle and then point straight ahead. When the driver of the oncoming car signals you by waving their hand horizontally, it means there is nothing ahead. However, if they lower or point down with their hand, it indicates a speed trap. Instead of just thanking them when they signal, you should also conveniently communicate the situation by signaling back about the condition of the opposite lane. Offer a friendly smile along with it. Never joke or be unserious about this:
- Spread your hand shaking from side to side: all clear...
- Spread your hand but keep it low, almost hitting the steering wheel a few times: reduce speed, there's something up ahead...
- Point with only your index finger down towards the ground or behind: “Emergency brake!... right here!”
- As for asking about road conditions: Tighten your lips and shake your head!
Note: '...' implies traffic police/traffic checkpoint. Instead of just thanking, cleverly perform reverse signaling about the road conditions you've passed through to let the other driver know.

2. Yielding the Left Lane
If you intend to overtake a slow-moving vehicle, it's advisable to signal and request the right of way before doing so, ensuring safety and displaying traffic etiquette.
Flash your left signal lights 4-6 times before making the maneuver. However, if the slow vehicle doesn't recognize your signal, quickly flash your lights ahead.

3. Reduce Speed, Danger Ahead
Is there a significant hazard on the road? To warn oncoming vehicles, flash your headlights. To signal to vehicles approaching from behind, press the brakes or extend your left hand wide and point downward to alert those behind you in case of obstacles, obstructions, or speed traps ahead.
- Extend your hand outside, raise the index finger upwards in a circular motion, indicating that the road ahead is impassable, and the vehicle should turn around.
- Extend your hand outside, palm facing backward, waving, or shake one finger like a windshield wiper, signaling to vehicles intending to overtake that there's an obstacle and overtaking is not permitted.
- Extend your hand outside, lower it to the ground, waving gently, signaling to oncoming vehicles to slow down.
- Extend your hand outside, raise the palm forward, waving like rowing a boat, indicating that the vehicle behind can overtake.

4. Pulling Over Due to Roadside Issues
If you notice a vehicle ahead experiencing issues such as an improperly closed cargo container or a loose component, point towards the problem area and use your thumb to point downward, signaling the driver to be aware. Pull the vehicle over to the side of the road.

5. Apology Signals
If you accidentally splash water onto another car's windshield or cut in front without prior overtaking consent, it's best to show respect and apologize by using two fingers to form a 'V' with the palm facing outward. The gesture signifies an apology.

6. Need Assistance
In this situation, it's not about signaling others about their issues, but you are the one facing an emergency and need urgent help. If you require assistance from other vehicles, cross your hands to form a 'T' shape to signal for help and let other drivers know that you need assistance.

7. Malfunctioning Lights
This situation typically arises at night. If you notice another vehicle with malfunctioning lights or one where the lights are still on, perform the gesture of spreading and clenching your fingers like a blooming flower. The driver of that vehicle will recognize it and promptly address their lighting issue.

8. Requesting Right of Way
If you want to request the right of way, flash your left signal lights 4-6 times and then flash your front lights to signal the vehicle ahead to yield the way to you.
If the front vehicle is moving slowly, it means they are giving way. If the front vehicle flashes their lights, it means it's not convenient for you to overtake.

9. I Understand
In addition to warning signals and conveying underlying situations, there are signals when you have understood and want to express gratitude to show that you are a cultured individual. Raise your thumb or use the gesture 'Ok.' Additionally, you can choose the air kiss method to communicate in the unique language of car drivers.

10. Traffic Police Speed Check Ahead
When raising two fingers in a gesture resembling a 'gun,' pointing downward signals that there is traffic police conducting speed checks on the moving road segment.
With a clenched fist, the thumb pointing downward indicates 'Traffic police standing on the road ahead'...
