7. Puluong Retreat
Puluong Retreat is also on the list of beloved cloud resorts for stunning 'cloud hunting' photos, located in Ban Don, Thanh Lam commune, Ba Thuoc district, Thanh Hoa. Puluong Retreat stands out with its unique architecture, harmoniously combining natural and artificial elements amidst white, ethereal clouds gently swirling around. The best time to visit Pu Luong is from late May to early June. This is when Pu Luong starts the new rice season, the vast fields and terraced hills will be dressed in lush green & some areas with ripe golden rice, creating a stunningly picturesque and tranquil scene.
Especially, although it is summer in Thanh Hoa, Pu Luong belongs to the limestone lowland mountainous area, with many tropical forests and few inhabitants, so the air and climate here are quite cool and pleasant. Another beautiful time is in September and October: These two months mark the rice ripening season in Pu Luong, all the terraced fields on the hillside will turn into a brilliant yellow, giving Pu Luong a rich and dreamy beauty.


8. Ban Co Peak
Ban Co Peak is famous for its nostalgic beauty amidst modern life. From Ban Co Peak, the entire scenery of Da Nang seems to converge, creating a feeling of being lost in a fairyland. Ban Co Peak is an interesting tourist destination in Da Nang for young people who love to take photos 'above the clouds'. The reason it is named like that is because locals follow the legend of two celestial beings playing chess, and a statue of De Thich sitting alone at a chess table has been placed without finding a solution. And since then, this mountain has been named like that until now.
Ban Co Peak is located on the famous Son Tra Peninsula of Da Nang, about 9km west of the city center, in Tho Quang ward, Son Tra district. Although not as high as Fansipan Peak, with a 'modest' height of about 700m above sea level, it is still considered the highest point of the city. Because of its beautiful location, this place quickly became a great spot to fully admire Da Nang and also the best place to admire the sunset and sunrise of the coastal city.


9. Y Ty
Y Ty Plateau - a name not unfamiliar to travel enthusiasts, especially backpackers. Y Ty is only about 70km from Sapa, a place that has been discovered by netizens to be as beautiful as 'a fairyland' without the need for makeup.
Located at an altitude of over 2000m above sea level, Y Ty has a cool climate all year round and especially harsher than many other communes in Bat Xat district in winter. The temperature in winter here sometimes drops below 0ºC and is one of the favorite cloud hunting spots for young people and photographers to admire the scenery and take photos. Y Ty not only attracts domestic tourists and 'backpackers' but also foreign tourists, especially young people who love to explore and conquer difficult, adventurous routes.
The clouds in Y Ty are most beautiful from September to April every year, often appearing in the early morning or late afternoon and lasting until noon when the sun is high. On cold days, when the temperature drops to about 0-5 degrees Celsius, the clouds appear on the mountain slopes and spread down to cover the valleys and villages. This is one of the beautiful places to hunt clouds in Y Ty. Perhaps the road from A Lu to Ngai Thau is one of the most beautiful stretches of road in the journey to Y Ty, especially during the rice ripening season. Y Ty not only brings you the peaceful feeling of mountain life, the majestic scenery along with the scent of the mountains, the smell of ripe rice in season, but also gives you wonderful experiences when hunting clouds, immersing yourself in a space as if standing amidst the clouds.


10. Lung Cung Peak
Lung Cung Peak (2,913 m) is named after a village nestled deep in the treacherous mountains of Nam Co commune, Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai. It takes about 2 days and 1 night to reach the summit and descend the mountain, crossing through pristine forests and witnessing the change of vegetation in high mountainous areas. This place also features a sea of clouds like a paradise attracting visitors to conquer.
To reach the Lung Cung Peak, it takes 45 minutes by motorbike from Lung Cung village along winding, rugged roads, and then an 11km trek uphill. However, the challenging journey is rewarded with stunning scenery of pristine vegetation, along with many valuable medicinal herbs cared for and protected by the local people. At the highest point of Lung Cung Peak is a wide flat land about 1ha, with panoramic views of the surrounding areas including: Lung Cung valley, Che Cu Nha commune (Mu Cang Chai), and the communes of Van Ban district (Lao Cai)…
The climate here is very fresh with abundant vegetation, and in the adjacent areas, there are also forest flowers such as: rhododendron, red maple trees, and some other species of flowers. But more appealingly, this place still retains its pristine beauty and has never been impacted by humans. In recent years, the villagers have created tourist routes and guides to help tourists climb Lung Cung Peak to conquer and explore this summit. Some travel companies are offering trekking tours for adventurous tourists to experience.
