8. Huis Ten Bosch
Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park in Nagasaki prefecture that recreates a town from the Netherlands. The park is named after one of the residences of the Dutch royal family. 9. Fuji-Q Highland
Fuji-Q Highland is a renowned amusement park in Yamanashi prefecture, opened in 1961. For thrill-seekers, Fuji-Q is the place to be. Currently, the park features four major roller coasters:
- Fujiyama: a tall and fast roller coaster, ranked among the best in the world
- Takabisha: built in 2011, it's the world's steepest roller coaster, dropping at a 121-degree angle
