Raya And The Last Dragon tells the story of the kingdom of Kumandra - where humans and dragons live harmoniously together. When a plague called Druun arrives, the dragons sacrifice themselves, creating a Dragon Gem to protect humanity. Humans become hostile, fighting for ownership of the Dragon Gem. An event causes the gem to shatter into multiple pieces, each region vying to keep their shard safe, while the Druun plague spills out, pushing Kumandra to the brink of desolation. Raya - the princess of Heart lands is determined to embark on a journey to find the dragon gem to revive her father.

2. The Godfather (12/03/2021)
The Godfather film adaptation has set an unprecedented 'huge' record in the history of Vietnamese cinema, grossing 10.6 billion VND, becoming the Vietnamese film with the highest sneakshow revenue ever after the early premiere on March 5, 2021. At the same time, it is also the second highest sneakshow revenue movie in Vietnam after the 'blockbuster' Avengers: Endgame. The Godfather not only created a ticket fever at the beginning of 2021 but also contributed a promising signal to the Vietnamese film market after a period of silence due to the Covid pandemic.
The Godfather film adaptation attracted audiences with a humane story about a father and son who do not know how to express love for their loved ones in the labor neighborhood. The excellent performance of Tuấn Trần as Quan combined with the reasonable and restrained acting of Trấn Thành (as Ba Sang) is also the highlight that made the audience shed tears.

The battle of powerful women throughout history has always brought tension and drama. That's what makes Old Ladies With Many Tricks V: The Lives Of The Royalties so appealing. This time, the old ladies' story revolves around the three sisters of the Ly family at the Bach Tra Vien villa. It is a mysterious family that has risen to prominence through antique trading, with the famous phoenix robe and a curse that prevents the Ly girls from marrying.
At the head of the Ly family is Ly Le Hang - a sharp, intelligent, decisive woman, full of strength and willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals. The second sister, Ly Hong, is a spoiled young lady, accustomed to being pampered and having no say in anything related to herself. The youngest sister, Ly Linh, is equally talented as the eldest, also ambitious and willing to sacrifice valuable things to fulfill her own dreams. Everything starts when the phoenix robe goes missing during an auction at Bach Tra Vien. The suspicious attitudes of the eldest and youngest sisters towards each other have created mutual distrust.
If the eldest sister has shady actions, hiding the truth; then the youngest sister is determined to find the phoenix robe for her own purpose. Secrets buried for decades are gradually exposed, making those involved seemingly unable to face the truth.

4. A Quiet Place 2 (28/5/2021)
A Quiet Place: Part II (Silent Territory 2) is the most anticipated horror blockbuster of the year. The postponement of its release was sad news for many cinema lovers. Director John Krasinski personally announced the delay, explaining: 'I hope the whole world can watch the film together'. The first installment of A Quiet Place was the most successful horror film of 2018, grossing $340 million worldwide despite having a budget of only $17 million. The film is associated with the talented director-actor couple: John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.
A Quiet Place 2 takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, where humans have become prey to creatures that are blind but have super-sensitive hearing. In the new installment, Evelyn (played by Emily Blunt) and her three children have learned to confront them. However, they encounter even more terrifying dangers.

5. Black Widow: The Black Widow (07/05/2021)
With the death of Iron Man, the departure of Black Widow Natasha Romanoff is an irreplaceable loss for the Avengers team. The woman who was both strong and gentle, considering the Avengers as her “family”, has departed forever to exchange for the soul stone. Her sacrifice leaves an indescribable pain in the hearts of Marvel Cinematic Universe fans. Fortunately, Marvel understands the love of fans for the Black Widow.
Although unlikely to return in the future MCU, Natasha and fans are “gifted” with a standalone film to enjoy. The independent journey of the most outstanding female warrior in the Avengers will pit her against one of the most formidable foes – the Taskmaster. The adventure will bring to the big screen the past of Black Widow before joining S.H.I.E.L.D. Natasha will reunite with her old “family” consisting of operatives Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz), Alexei Shostakov, also known as Red Guardian (David Harbour).

6. Venom 2: The Slaughter Begins (25/06/2021)
Instead of releasing in Fall 2020, due to the impact of COVID-19, Venom: Let There Be Carnage had to be postponed until this Summer. The film will be the sequel to the previous blockbuster Venom. In this second installment, Woody Harrelson will portray serial killer Cletus Kasady who is being held by the FBI. The symbiosis between Venom's cells and Cletus makes the host even more sinister and dangerous than Venom itself. The showdown between these two hosts promises to bring Venom 2 high box office revenue in 2021.
The main antagonist of this installment is Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) - the serial killer currently in FBI custody. Cletus Kasady appeared in the post-credits scene of Venom 1. The term 'carnage' refers to the entity born from Venom's cells. Although also opting for symbiotic bonding to avoid harming the host, Carnage is darker and more ruthless than Venom by many folds. The battle between the two symbiotes is expected to be extremely captivating.

7. Fast & Furious 9: Family Confrontation (28/05/2021)
By this time, Dominic Toretto (played by Vin Diesel) and his crew have gone through 8 chapters of Fast and Furious. Expectedly, chapter 9 is set to hit screens in 2021. In this installment, Toretto and his family must face his own brother Jakob (John Cena), a skilled assassin who is working with their old enemy Cipher and holds a grudge against Dominic.
The Fast family surely hasn't forgotten Paul Walker's departure, as from the first few seconds of the trailer, the piano version of See You Again resonates. Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) is now a father, living peacefully and happily with his family. However, that joy doesn't last long as Cipher (Charlize Theron) - the antagonist from chapter 8 - makes a comeback.
The malicious hacker plans to sow chaos once again. Not only that, Dom also discovers he has a lost brother, played by John Cena. He seems to have some animosity towards Dom, but shares the same passion for cars and speed as his older brother. Things get even more complicated when Han (played by Sung Kang) miraculously returns from the dead. This has Fast fans incredibly excited.

8. Minions: Gru's Rise (02/07/2021)
Minions: Gru's Rise immerses viewers in the transformation journey of the villain Gru. After recruiting the Minions, he embarks on a quest to become the world's number one villain. To fulfill his dream, Gru joins the infamous criminal group Vicious 6. However, they mock and belittle him for being just a child. In a moment of bravado, Gru uses his specialized gun to steal their precious gemstone.
From there, a series of chaotic events ensue. With the quick-witted assistance of his 'apprentices,' Gru escapes the clutches of the 6 villains in a spectacular fashion. Subsequently, Gru and the Minions unfortunatey find themselves on the most wanted list of the criminal underworld. Compared to the previous installment, Minions' adventure is grander in scale, employing more modern and sophisticated weaponry, promising a thrilling and colorful journey.

9. Top Gun: Maverick (02/07/2021)
Top Gun: Maverick is a drama-action film set in peacetime, revolving around the intense and dramatic aerial battles of pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. However, Maverick also has to face a series of dangers from unmanned drones remotely controlled. The trailer opens with breathtaking scenes of snow-covered landscapes with planes soaring across the vast sky.
Maverick seems to be drawn into a confrontation with deep-seated fears within himself, culminating in a high-stakes mission requiring sacrifice and courage. What's more, Top Gun: Maverick also recreates an iconic moment when Maverick rides a 'super cool' motorcycle alongside a beautiful woman - a scene that made waves at the time and has become legendary whenever this movie is mentioned.

10. Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings (09/07/2021)
Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings is based on the Marvel Comics character Shang-Chi, the son of Dr. Fu Manchu, a villain created by Sax Rohmer and later acquired by Marvel. The character Shang-Chi was then created by Jim Starlin and Steve Englehart for Marvel Comics in 1973, introduced in the early 1970s as an Asian superhero with exceptional Kung Fu skills.
Shang-Chi is raised and trained by his father to become an assassin with the potential to inherit his criminal empire, aspiring to become the world's ruler. Shang-Chi quickly masters these teachings and even develops his own abilities through Alchemy, a 'virtual reality data feed of training techniques and fighting styles.'
