1. Doraemon
Doraemon is a robotic cat sent by Sewashi, Nobita's fifth-generation descendant, from the 22nd century to help Nobita become successful and wealthy, thereby improving the future circumstances of Nobita's descendants. In the present, Nobita is a boy who consistently performs poorly in school, and later faces company bankruptcies and job failures, plunging his family and future descendants into debt.
The stories in Doraemon usually revolve around common themes, focusing on the troubles encountered by Nobita, a fifth-grade student and the secondary protagonist of the series. Doraemon possesses a magical pocket on his stomach containing various futuristic gadgets. The most common plot involves Nobita returning home in tears due to the troubles he encounters at school or with friends.
