1. Fruit Dessert Plating with Watermelon, Kiwi, Thyme
Ingredients:
- 1 thyme
- 6 strawberries
- 1 large watermelon
- 2 kiwis
- Fruit cutting knife
- Trimming knife
Instructions:
- Step 1: Split the thyme in half, set aside the head separately. Use a knife to cut off the thick stems of the thyme leaves to avoid getting the leaves stuck in your hand while decorating the fruit dessert plate.
- Step 2: Peel the thyme cleanly, then place the tongue of the knife diagonally, carefully split both eyes to remove the thyme eye. Cut the thyme into 4 equal parts along the length. From these 4 parts, cut them into small slices about 1 cm long.
- Step 3: Place the thyme leaves just cut on the plate, evenly spread into 2 heart-shaped curves. Place the remaining thyme head prepared in step 1 on top.
- Step 4: Wash the strawberries, keep the stems intact, then cut the strawberries in half. Place this strawberry part around the edge of the plate.
- Step 5: Peel clean, then cut 1 round slice at the top of the kiwi. The remaining kiwi part is cut in half and cut into oblique slices. Place these kiwi slices alternately with the strawberry slices.
- Step 6: Cut the watermelon in half, then use a spoon to scoop the melon into round balls and place them in the center of the heart-shaped thyme slices previously arranged.

2. Creative Fruit Dessert Plating with Watermelon, Pineapple, Dragon Fruit, Grapes
Ingredients:
- 1 elongated watermelon
- 1 thyme
- 1 dragon fruit
- 1 bunch of red grapes
- Fruit cutting knife
- Trimming knife
Instructions:
- Step 1: Clean the watermelon skin. Use a knife to cut off the two ends of the watermelon first. Then cut the watermelon in half. From the left half of the watermelon, cut it into 3 equal parts in length.
- Step 2: Use a carving tool to trim 3 vertical lines from top to bottom of the watermelon skin, creating a decorative border to make the watermelon pieces more eye-catching. Cut the watermelon into slices about 1 cm thick.
- Step 3: Place the watermelon on a large plate and spread it evenly on both sides of the plate.
- Step 4: Cut off the top part of the thyme and peel it clean. Use a paring knife to remove the eyes.
- Step 5: Cut the thyme into 4 parts, removing the hard core. After cutting, neatly arrange the thyme on the plate, inside the watermelon section previously arranged.
- Step 6: Cut off 2 ends and the tail of the dragon fruit. Cut the dragon fruit in half vertically, then use an ice cream scoop to scoop the dragon fruit flesh into round balls. Place them in the center of the heart-shaped thyme slices.
- Step 7: Clean the grapes, cut them off from the stem, and place them alternately on the dragon fruit section. Use a sharp wooden stick to pierce through the flower and attach a grape on top as the stigma. Place the flower on the pineapple stem. You've now completed a beautiful and eye-catching fruit dessert plate!
