Núi Bà Đen spans an area of 24 km² and comprises three peaks: Núi Heo, Núi Phụng, and Núi Bà Đen, the highest peak in Southeast Vietnam at 986m. The mountain hosts a series of temples, including Trung Temple, Bà Temple, and Hang Temple. Its majestic landscape and lush vegetation attract visitors from afar. Moreover, it is intertwined with the legend of Lady Lý Thị Thiên Hương (Bà Đen). According to folklore, the mountain was originally ruled by a woman named Rê Đeng, later known as Đen. Another legend identifies Bà Đen as Lý Thị Thiên Hương, daughter of an official named Lý Thiên in the Nguyễn Dynasty.
