They have a round head, a square-shaped long muzzle, a black nose, strong jaws, and a scissor bite. Straight-pointed tails create a balanced feel. All these physical characteristics give them a fierce, ready-for-battle appearance.
Compared to other ancient breeds, Dogo is still a relatively new breed. It falls into the category of difficult-to-train dogs. Like other large breeds with a history of dog fighting and hunting, Dogo requires an experienced owner of formidable dogs.
