Billionaire Jeff Bezos initiated the construction of the 10,000 Year Clock in the mountainous region of his private estate in the state of Texas (USA). Built into the Sierra Diablo mountain range in West Texas, on the site originally intended for Blue Origin's spaceport, the clock's frame reaches over 150 meters in height. According to information from the clock's official website (10000yearclock.net), visitors can tour the clock when it completes its rotation. However, Jeff Bezos also warns that the visit won't be easy: 'The nearest airport is a few hours' drive away, and the path up is about 2,000 steps.'
