In September 1927, it merged into the BGI group of France and 50 years later (1977), it was managed by Southern Beer and Liquor Corporation. The plant was then renamed Saigon Brewery, entering a new era as a state-owned enterprise operating under the socialist economic planning mechanism. Sabeco produces a variety of beers, including Saigon Lager (Saigon White), Saigon Special (Saigon Green, Saigon Short), Saigon Export (Saigon Red), Saigon Chill, Saigon Gold (Saigon Yellow), Bia 333, and Bia Lạc Việt (celebrating the 145th anniversary of Sabeco’s founding).
