Hồ Văn Cường became a standout sensation during the 2016 Kids' Idol Music Competition. Despite his small stature, shy and gentle nature, and tender folk singing that captivated hearts, Hồ Văn Cường secured a convincing victory as the competition's champion. Throughout the show, he consistently led the audience's voting for his performances.
Born in 2003 in Tiền Giang, from a struggling family with his father working as a construction laborer and his mother doing odd jobs, Hồ Văn Cường balanced his studies with helping his parents. He even sang at weddings to earn money for his family and support his education.
His journey to the competition was more challenging than most contestants', with only 500,000 VND borrowed from relatives. Yet, the rewards from this show were immense: the top prize, a chance to meet his childhood idol – singer Phi Nhung, and invaluable opportunities in his future career. 2. Trịnh Nhật Minh
Born in 2006, at just 10 years old, Trịnh Nhật Minh impressed audiences with his powerful, energetic voice and confident, captivating stage presence, ultimately winning the 2016 Kids' Voice Vietnam competition. His performance of 'Đá trông chồng' was one of the most remarkable moments in the competition's history, truly electrifying the stage. Before that, at the age of 7, he became a national sensation by winning the top spot on the show 'Đồ Rê Mí 2013.' Additionally, he was awarded the special prize 'Best Young Voice VOV 2013' and placed as the runner-up in the 'Young Hit Young Beat 2015' competition.
Coming from a family with a rich artistic background—his father is a chèo artist in Hanoi and his mother is a singer at the Vietnam Voice Radio—Trịnh Nhật Minh showed musical talent from an early age. With a bright, confident personality and a remarkable stage presence, he has continued to shine in the spotlight. Recently, the 'Voice Global' channel recognized Trịnh Nhật Minh as one of the 'Best Young Champions' from international versions of the competition, an honor truly reflecting his talent.
In addition to his musical abilities, Trịnh Nhật Minh has excelled academically, consistently achieving excellent grades and winning numerous awards in his studies.

3. Nguyễn Công Quốc
During the Blind Auditions of the 2015 Kids' Voice Vietnam, Nguyễn Công Quốc's sweet, soulful, and emotional performance of the song 'À ơi' moved millions of hearts and earned him the attention of all four judges. Although he didn't win the competition, Công Quốc gained widespread recognition and a dedicated fan base.
Born in a poor family in Phan Thiết, Công Quốc showed an early talent for music and a deep love for folk songs. His idol is singer Cẩm Ly, who was also his mentor on the show, providing guidance and support that helped him grow throughout the competition.
Currently, Công Quốc resides and studies in Ho Chi Minh City to pursue his dream of becoming a singer. He lives in a small rented room with his parents and older brother, facing many challenges. In addition to his studies, he participates in singing lessons and appears on several variety shows, including 'Gương mặt thân quen nhí.' His significant career milestone came with the release of his first music video 'Mẹ ơi con đã về.'

4. Đào Nguyên Thụy Bình
Songs with sweet, soulful folk melodies often leave a lasting impression on listeners. This is perhaps why folk singers tend to win the affection of the audience more easily. Among the young vocalists with these captivating voices, such as Phương Mỹ Chi, Hồ Văn Cường, and Nguyễn Công Quốc, Đào Nguyên Thụy Bình was a standout in the 2016 Kids' Voice Vietnam. From the very first Blind Audition, all four judges selected him, and he quickly won the hearts of viewers. He consistently topped the audience voting in each round and later became a beloved student of the talented and passionate coach Vũ Cát Tường.
The 9-year-old boy from Bến Tre inherited his love for music from his grandfather, who introduced him to folk songs and the tender melodies of 'đờn ca tài tử' from a young age. The Kids' Voice Vietnam competition was a platform that brought his voice closer to the public and opened doors for him to further develop his musical passion.

5. Nguyễn Hoàng Mai Anh
Nguyễn Hoàng Mai Anh was one of the standout contestants in the 2016 season of 'The Voice Kids Vietnam.' She is capable of singing a wide range of musical genres, from pre-war songs to lively folk music. Mai Anh was granted a special entry into the Blind Audition round without having to undergo the preliminary selection. With her charming appearance, adorable personality, and powerful yet innocent voice, she quickly caught the attention of the judges. In the Blind Audition, her performance of 'Tàu anh qua núi' made waves on social media, leading both coach Noo Phước Thịnh and the team of Đông Nhi & Ông Cao Thắng to try everything to recruit her into their teams.
Though Nguyễn Hoàng Mai Anh was considered slightly less favored than fellow contestants Trịnh Nhật Minh and Đào Nguyên Thụy Bình in the 'Voice Kids Vietnam 2016' finals, she still achieved the highest view count on YouTube for her performances.
As of now, her rendition of 'Tàu anh qua núi' has garnered over 1.5 million views, an impressive number even by professional singers' standards.

6. Rubby Bảo An
Rubby Bảo An, born Nguyễn Ngọc Bảo An, is a popular young singer with a fanbase comparable to any other child artist today. She gained widespread recognition after the release of her music video 'Xúc xắc xúc xẻ,' which quickly became the most-viewed video on YouTube within hours, a remarkable feat for a child artist.
Her first public appearance was in 2011 when she participated in the children's music competition 'Đồ Rê Mí' on VTV3. Through hard work, talent, and her lively personality, Bảo An won the title of 'Youngest Contestant Ever' and 'Most Impressive Contestant' in the history of the show. Following this success, she was invited to perform at numerous events across Vietnam and featured in several children's music videos uploaded to YouTube, including 'Xúc xắc xúc xẻ,' 'Chút chít,' and 'Mẹ ơi tại sao.' Her natural singing and acting abilities, combined with her infectious charm, quickly won her the admiration of fans, especially young viewers.

7. Lương Gia Khiêm
If you are a fan of music, especially children's shows, you may remember the image of a charming young boy with bouncy curly hair and a voice full of emotion and soul – Lương Gia Khiêm. Born and raised in Hanoi, Gia Khiêm comes from a family without an artistic background. However, his passion for music led him to compete in the 2015 season of 'Thần tượng âm nhạc nhí' (Vietnamese Idol for Kids). With his vocal talent and hard work, he was considered a strong contender for the top spot, but in the end, he earned third place with his heartfelt performance of 'À ơi.'
Following his success on the show, Gia Khiêm continued to focus on his education while occasionally performing to gain more experience and connect with his audience. He also attended specialized music training courses to further develop his skills.
In early 2020, Gia Khiêm impressed his fans by showcasing his dancing and rapping abilities with the release of 'Em muốn đi đâu,' which received positive feedback. Later that year, he released a touching ballad titled 'Đi qua nước mắt,' written especially for him by composer Lưu Quang Hùng.

8. Phương Mỹ Chi
When talking about the most famous child singers in Vietnam, Phương Mỹ Chi is definitely a name that stands out. Discovered and nurtured through the first season of 'Giọng hát Việt nhí' (The Voice Kids), Phương Mỹ Chi went from being a small, modest girl dressed in traditional Southern attire to becoming one of Vietnam's top child stars, known for her sweet and captivating voice. Her image as a simple, humble girl with a beautiful voice and bright smile has won the hearts of many fans.
Born in 2003 in Ho Chi Minh City into a family with limited means, Phương Mỹ Chi's life transformed dramatically after she became the runner-up on 'Giọng hát Việt nhí.' She quickly rose to fame, with a fan base rivaling that of top celebrities. Known for her emotive voice, Phương Mỹ Chi received numerous invitations to perform at major music events alongside well-known artists such as Quang Lê, Phi Nhung, Đan Trường, and Chế Linh. Her popularity and talent have earned her many prestigious music awards, including the 'Favorite Song of the Year 2014' award, Mai Vàng, Zing Music Awards, and 'New Star' honors.
Phương Mỹ Chi is best known for her folk music, with hits like 'Quê em mùa nước lũ,' 'Lòng mẹ,' 'Áo mới Cà Mau,' and 'Sa mưa giông.' At just 13 years old, she has already achieved remarkable success. Today, she enjoys a happy life with her family while excelling academically at a prestigious international school in Ho Chi Minh City, where she received a full scholarship. She continues to participate in music programs and release her own music.

9. Nguyễn Quang Anh
Quang Anh is another musical talent discovered through the first season of 'Giọng hát Việt nhí,' alongside Phương Mỹ Chi. With his bright appearance, lively personality, and versatile voice capable of handling various musical styles, Quang Anh quickly became the winner of the competition.
Born in 2001 in Thanh Hóa, Quang Anh grew up in a family facing financial struggles, with his mother working as a sanitation worker. Despite these challenges, Quang Anh inherited his musical abilities from his mother, a former chèo actress, and his older brother, who is currently a chèo actor in Thanh Hóa. At a young age, Quang Anh showcased his talent by winning first place at the 'Liên hoan tiếng hát Hoa phượng đỏ' music festival in Thanh Hóa.
After winning 'Giọng hát Việt nhí,' Quang Anh's popularity soared, and he gained many fans. He also earned several notable accolades in his music career, including a spot in the Top 3 of the 2013 Zing Music Awards for Favorite New Artist and Top 10 of the 2013 Mai Vàng Awards for Favorite Singer.
Unlike many other young talents who move to Ho Chi Minh City to pursue their music dreams, Quang Anh chose to follow a different path. He moved to Hanoi to attend the National Academy of Music. While still prioritizing his academic studies, Quang Anh also took part in music shows, pursued vocal training, and honed his skills. Apart from singing, Quang Anh is also skilled in dancing, drumming, and beatboxing. Seeking new challenges, Quang Anh entered the 2023 season of 'Rap Việt' to further explore his musical abilities.

10. Nguyễn Thiện Nhân
Nguyễn Thiện Nhân became one of the most beloved contestants of the second season of 'Giọng hát Việt nhí'. His chubby face, charming smile, and particularly his high-pitched, emotive voice won the hearts of viewers. His popularity led him to victory as the winner of the season. Songs that became synonymous with Thiện Nhân's name include 'Mẹ yêu con,' 'Cô đôi thượng ngàn,' 'Quê hương tôi,' 'Mẹ yêu,' and 'Biết ơn chị Võ Thị Sáu.'
Born in 2002 in Bình Định, Thiện Nhân grew up in a farming family with no artistic background. However, he exhibited his musical talent from a very young age. While still in school, he earned several local music awards, including the second prize at the 'Liên hoan tiếng hát Hoa phượng đỏ' music festival in Bình Định and first place in the 'Tiếng hát giáo viên, học sinh' competition in the province.
After joining 'Giọng hát Việt nhí,' Thiện Nhân moved to Ho Chi Minh City with the support of musician Minh Vy and singer Cẩm Ly. There, he continued to study music and pursue his singing dreams. Alongside his academic studies, he also participated in major music events, such as performing with singer Anh Thơ on the live TV show 'Vì phụ nữ - Vì ngày mai' at the Hanoi Opera House and singing at Đan Trường's 'Dấu ấn' live show.
Since the competition, Thiện Nhân has received several prestigious music awards, including the Mai Vàng Award for 'Favorite Singer in Folk Music' and 'Favorite MV: Tết đoàn viên,' surpassing other renowned candidates like Đan Trường, Phi Nhung, Thanh Thúy, and Hoài Lâm.
