Vân, the younger sister of IT hero Nguyễn Công Hùng, has been using a wheelchair since childhood due to paralysis in both her arms and legs. Despite these challenges, she has earned respect from many for her academic achievements and accomplishments, including first place in chess and excellence in English.
Following in her brother's footsteps, in 2006, Thảo Vân, with the support of her friends, founded the 'Live Strong Center' in Hanoi. The center aims to provide career guidance and free training for individuals with disabilities.

4. Inspirational Story #7: Trần Quốc Hoàn - Teacher Who Teaches from a Wheelchair
Born and raised in the historic Quảng Trị Citadel, teacher Trần Quốc Hoàn was paralyzed on one side of his body, making it impossible for him to walk. Despite numerous hardships and his parents' struggles, he was determined to pursue his education. After graduating high school, he chose to stay home and teach underprivileged children in his community.
His classroom, a special one without a blackboard or chalk, only contained two rows of wooden desks and his wheelchair. He opened it completely free of charge, and over the years, many students from his class have gone on to attend university. In addition to being a respected teacher, Trần Quốc Hoàn is also a talented athlete, having earned 12 gold medals, 19 silver, and 8 bronze in disabled sports competitions.

5. Inspirational Story #8: Đoàn Phạm Khiêm - Creator of a Dictionary for the Deaf and Mute
For many, completing high school and moving on to university is a significant achievement, but for those who are deaf and mute, it is an extraordinary feat. Đoàn Phạm Khiêm is not only known for his academic excellence throughout the years but also as the top graduate in Fine Arts from Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts. He made history as the first deaf and mute student to attend a formal university, astonishing many in the process.
When he was just over one year old, a fever struck, robbing him of his ability to hear and speak. It seemed as though his world had crumbled, but with great determination, Khiêm began learning to read and write through sign language. His perseverance led to continuous successes, and he was honored to be one of the five key contributors to the creation of the Vietnamese Sign Language Dictionary to aid the deaf and mute throughout the country. In addition, he works as a professor, offering free courses to help the deaf and mute gain higher education and integrate into society.

6. Inspirational Story #9: Bùi Ngọc Thịnh - 12-Year-Old Asian Record Holder Who Plays 7 Musical Instruments
Known for his incredible resilience, Bùi Ngọc Thịnh from Khánh Hòa is a blind boy who has earned recognition for his extraordinary musical talent, earning a place in the Asia Book of Records. At just six years old, he began his musical journey with the drums, then moved on to the classical guitar, followed by the organ, the electric guitar, the traditional 'đàn cò,' and recently mastered the zither, the 'đàn kim,' and the piano.
Despite being the only child in a family where both parents are blind, Thịnh has been inspired by the love and support of his parents. Through relentless dedication and a passion for learning, he has now performed over one hundred songs across various instruments.

7. Inspirational Story #10: Nguyễn Minh Trí - The Determined Student Without Arms
Born into a poor family with many siblings and facing the challenge of being born without arms due to a congenital condition, Trí refused to let these obstacles define his life. Despite the hardships, he remained optimistic and determined to change his future through education. With love for his parents, Trí persevered, training his legs to become his means of survival. What surprised everyone was that he was able to write.
The person who inspired Trí to keep pushing forward was teacher Nguyễn Ngọc Ký. With dreams of becoming an IT engineer, Trí worked tirelessly and successfully passed the entrance exam to study at An Giang University in his chosen field.

8. Inspirational Story #1: Nguyễn Công Hùng - The IT Knight
Born into a poor family, Nguyễn Công Hùng was struck by a debilitating illness at the age of two that left him paralyzed from head to toe, forcing him to spend much of his life in hospitals. Moved by the struggles of his parents, Hùng channeled his intelligence and determination into action. In 2003, he founded the 'Nghị Lực Sống' (Living Will) Center, an organization designed to teach skills and create job opportunities for people with disabilities.
For his tireless efforts and contributions, he was honored with the title of 'IT Knight' by the eChip magazine, alongside several other national awards. Unfortunately, in late 2012, while traveling to Vĩnh Long, Nguyễn Công Hùng tragically passed away. His 30 years of life, though brief, became a symbol of perseverance and determination for Vietnamese youth.

9. Inspirational Story #2: Nguyễn Sơn Lâm - Conquering Fansipan with Wooden Crutches
Nguyễn Sơn Lâm, from Quảng Ninh, was born with a disability caused by Agent Orange, which left his limbs weak and underdeveloped. While his peers were starting school, Lâm remained at home due to his health condition. His mother, determined to lift his spirits, gathered books and stories of people overcoming hardship to share with him.
Inspired by his mother's unwavering support, Lâm gradually overcame his self-doubt. After completing high school, he passed the entrance exams for two universities. Today, he is the Chairman of the Board at Tỏa Sáng Training Company and a professional speaker. Lâm is also fluent in English, Japanese, and French. Notably, in October 2011, weighing just 27 kg and standing at only 90 cm tall, Lâm became the first person to reach the summit of Fansipan—the highest peak in Indochina—using only wooden crutches.
Lâm is a source of inspiration, often sharing his philosophy: 'Success isn't about avoiding difficulties. It's about facing and overcoming them. There are always challenges, but we must confront them head-on. Life is about conquering obstacles, and the truly successful are those who conquer their own.'

10. Inspirational Story #3: Nguyễn Phương Anh - The 'Glass Bone' Girl
In the 2011 Vietnam's Got Talent competition, Nguyễn Phương Anh, known for her brittle bone condition, shocked the audience by reaching the finals. While she did not win, her small stature and remarkable resilience earned her widespread admiration. Phương Anh also secured second place in an English singing competition.
Despite her challenging condition, Phương Anh attended Việt Đức High School, refusing to isolate herself or feel pity. Instead, she embraced life and actively participated in various school activities. Her story of perseverance serves as an inspiration, showing young people that hope and optimism can thrive even in the face of adversity.
