The wind whispers, swaying the rubber tree branches
The sun disperses the mist
Who in the small village is still asleep?
Child, sleep with grandma
Mom is still teaching at the distant school, not yet back
Skipping joyfully in the rural fields
There are flocks of swallows flying back here
Mom is diligent every day
Planning lessons by the lamp under the trees
Dad guards through day and night
Taking care of household and community chores together
Three months of rest during the lotus season
The yellow daisies have bloomed, welcoming the Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns
Mom and child, working diligently
Preparing meticulously for the upcoming school opening day
Love the profession, love the enthusiastic children
Household and community tasks are done without complaint
Child, sleep well
Complete your tasks joyfully, mom will return.

Halong, oh Halong! The sunrise is stunning
The golden rays erase the night
The sea waves gently embrace the shore
The golden sand still sleeps peacefully

The sea by the shore embraces for generations
Hear the sea with each wave hitting the shore
The sea by the shore still sings, waiting
Still yearning for each small wave

The sunrise plays on the grass
Shining on each sparkling wave
In the autumn morning before the sunrise
Seeing how beautiful our homeland sea is

The sun stretches over the rocky shore
Dispelling the white mist along the coast
Standing before the sea, it's poetic
The gentle sea is so tranquil

Boats sail out to sea to welcome more fish
For tomorrow, life will be abundant
The beautiful sun and clouds greet Halong
Welcoming the new day.

Waking up to the sound of cicadas' song
In the garden, the front yard bathed in golden sunlight
The flamboyant blooms in the early summer
Drinking hot coffee, melting away in solitude

The countryside morning is peaceful
The village garden, a picturesque scene with flowers
So many hardships have passed by
Returning to the quiet countryside is also a joy

Life's stream keeps flowing
Hoping to always be smiling peacefully
We return to tend to the orchid garden
Green, yellow, purple, red overflow around us

The city always wants to move away
Returning to the countryside, happy in old age
Around us, there are good friends
Drinking tea, sipping wine like celestial beings in the mortal world

Accepting simple life
Garden, trees, ponds, fish without fuss
No need for distinctions, no need for luxury
Humble huts, mansions, all lights out alike.

The birds chirp, filling the garden with sound,
Now, it's the month of March,
With myriad flowers displaying their hues.

All flowers exude a fragrant scent,
Perhaps we're not happy,
The pandemic, we believe, will be pushed back,
For our country has never failed.

Victorious over enemies, our history shines forever,
Every March, campaigns pass by,
The bright red rice flowers heralding victory,
We conquer the pandemic, just as we conquer foes.

Reaching out to grasp the golden sunlight on the grass,
My hair gently dances in the breeze,
Lost in reverie,
My motherland changes with every passing hour.

The 'White' path of childhood dreams,
Running through the village under the pouring sun,
Two trips to school every day,
Seeing my aged mother, covered in sweat, fills me with pity.

The memories of days when father was away,
The road to school, the absence of rides,
Hurrying with friends to the gate,
Reciting old lessons at the school entrance.

A bit of nostalgia for those days,
The dawn now rises within me,
Loving the homeland, a humble wish,
Hoping 'Someone' far away keeps their promise.

The truth of the countryside remains fragrant,
The scent of hometown rice deeply ingrained,
The exotic land brimming with allure.

Just hoping (that place) won't leave the love of the homeland...???
