Xuân Bắc, born Nguyễn Xuân Bắc on August 21, 1976, in Việt Trì, Phú Thọ. He graduated from Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema, later working at the Vietnam Drama Theater and as a host for various TV programs. He married in late 2006. Apart from his work as a renowned actor and host, Xuân Bắc is also involved in community activities. He was honored with the title 'Outstanding Youth of the Capital.' On November 30, 2010, Xuân Bắc was appointed UNICEF's Goodwill Ambassador for Water and Sanitation. Regardless of the program or role, Xuân Bắc consistently showcases his natural talent, making him an irreplaceable figure in the shows he participates in. His charm and talent have won the hearts of viewers, and he always knows how to bring joy and comfort to audiences in any situation.
Currently, Xuân Bắc serves as the Director of the Vietnam Drama Theater. He gained popularity on television through the film 'Sóng ở đáy sông,' where he played the character Núi. 2. Quang Thắng
Quang Thắng, full name Đặng Quang Thắng, was born on October 21, 1968, in Hải Phòng, Vietnam. He is a well-known Vietnamese comedian and actor. His most famous role is as Táo Kinh tế (Economic Minister) in the annual comedy program 'Táo Quân' produced by Vietnam Television (VTV). In addition to comedy, Quang Thắng has appeared in several TV shows, movies, and worked as a TV host. He is currently a comedian at the Hanoi Drama Theater (formerly a member of the Hải Phòng Drama Troupe). In 2015, Quang Thắng was honored with the title 'Meritorious Artist.'
Although he primarily performed in Hanoi, Quang Thắng was for many years a member of the Hải Phòng Drama Troupe. In August 2019, after receiving approval from local authorities, he transferred to the Hanoi Drama Theater. Quang Thắng's career in comedy began with the program 'Gặp nhau cuối tuần' (Weekend Meeting), which made him a household name across the country and laid the foundation for his future success in other comedy shows such as 'Gala Cười' and 'Gặp nhau cuối năm' (Táo Quân). Throughout his career, Quang Thắng's closest collaborators have been comedians Quốc Khánh and Vân Dung. 3. Tự Long
Vũ Tự Long was born on December 22, 1973. He is a comedian, a Colonel in the military, a traditional Vietnamese opera artist, and a TV presenter. He is best known for his comedic roles on popular VTV programs like 'Gặp nhau cuối tuần' (Weekend Meeting), 'Gặp nhau cuối năm' (Meeting at Year's End), 'Chém chuối cuối tuần' (Weekend Banana Slicing), and 'Ơn giời cậu đây rồi!' (Oh My God! You're Here!). Additionally, Tự Long is an artist in the Traditional Opera Troupe of the Ministry of Defense. In 2012, he was honored with the title 'Meritorious Artist,' and in 2015, he received the prestigious title 'People's Artist.' Currently, Tự Long serves as the Deputy Director of the Military Traditional Opera Theater.
Tự Long’s early life was modest. He graduated from the North Ninh Construction Vocational School in the Carpentry department, worked as a carpenter, and took on various odd jobs, including working as a bus conductor, construction assistant, and motorcycle taxi driver to support himself and his family. After saving enough money, he applied to the Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema, where he found his passion for acting. He graduated with a degree in Traditional Opera in 1998. Tự Long began his career at the Traditional Opera Troupe of the Ministry of Defense, performing in minor roles before rising to prominence. He describes himself as a car enthusiast, stating that if he had not pursued acting, he would have become a driver. His breakthrough came in 2000 when 'Gặp nhau cuối tuần' aired on VTV3, and together with Xuân Bắc, he quickly became a household name. Tự Long’s journey is a testament to his hardworking and dedicated nature, earning him immense popularity throughout his career. He became well-known for his role as Dr. Hoa Súng in 'Gặp nhau cuối tuần.' In 2014, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Military Traditional Opera Theater, and in 2020, he was promoted to Colonel.


4. Chiến Thắng
Chiến Thắng's full name is Nguyễn Chiến Thắng, born in 1975, is a well-known Vietnamese comedian. Growing up in a poor family in Vĩnh Phúc province, Chiến Thắng had to work various jobs from a young age to help support his family, such as selling ice cream in 6th grade and carrying bricks during high school and university summer breaks. When he moved to Hanoi for university, he worked as a tile setter, tombstone carver, statue sculptor, and painter. After failing the university entrance exams twice despite a high score in his artistic aptitude test, he became disheartened and volunteered to join the military, serving as a border guard in Hà Giang province. Later, he pursued a degree in vocal music at the Military College of Culture and Arts, graduating in 1998.
Chiến Thắng's career took off in 2001 when he was recruited by the team behind the 'Gặp nhau cuối tuần' (Weekend Meeting) show on Vietnam Television (VTV). In 2003, during the first edition of 'Gala Cười' (Laugh Gala), he performed alongside comedians Công Lý and Hiệp Gà in a sketch titled 'Thử lòng' (Testing the Heart). When 'Gặp nhau cuối tuần' was discontinued in 2007, Chiến Thắng continued his comedy career by participating in VTC’s 'Góc cười' (Laugh Corner) and becoming more independent in his work. In 2014, he played the role of Nam Tào in the 'Táo Quân' (Kitchen Gods) program on VTC. Chiến Thắng also joined the comedy show 'Ơn giời cậu đây rồi!' (Oh My God! You're Here!) where he became a standout guest in episode 2, winning a commemorative cup for his wit and quick improvisation skills.


5. Công Lý

7. Xuân Hinh
When it comes to the 'King of Cheo Comedy' or the 'King of Northern Vietnam's Humor', there’s no doubt that Xuân Hinh is a household name in the comedy world of Vietnam. Born and raised in a rural village in Bac Ninh, he began his artistic journey at a young age. While still in high school, Xuân Hinh was accepted into the Quan Họ Bac Ninh Folk Song Troupe. In 1983, he was admitted to Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema to study traditional folk singing. With his solid foundation in various genres, including Cheo, Xam, Quan Ho, Cai Luong, and Chầu Văn, Xuân Hinh is best known for his unparalleled dedication to comedy.

8. Danh hài Trấn Thành
Trấn Thành, born Huỳnh Trấn Thành on February 5, 1987, is a renowned comedian and television host from Saigon. Coming from a Chinese-Vietnamese family, he is fluent in Cantonese and English. Initially pursuing a career in acting at the University of Theater and Cinematic Arts, Trấn Thành rose to fame as an MC. He won third place in the 2006 Television Presenter Competition. His quick wit and humor have made him a favorite host for various TV shows, including 'Cứ nói đi' (a program teaching Vietnamese to foreigners), 'Cầu vồng nghệ thuật' (The Art Rainbow), 'Thử thách cùng bước nhảy' (Dance Challenge), 'Gala Cười 2011', and Quang Lê's live show 'Hát trên quê hương'.

Việt Hương, born Nguyễn Việt Hương on October 15, 1976, in Ho Chi Minh City, is a celebrated Vietnamese comedian and actress. At the age of 40, she is known for her diverse acting range, with her colleagues affectionately calling her 'Quái Kiệt' (The Master of Transformation). She is renowned for her ability to flawlessly portray a wide range of characters, from a 5-year-old child to an elderly woman, from humble and kind-hearted personalities to devious villains, and from students to the mentally unstable. Her skill in shifting from comedy to drama and back again is her unique signature. After relocating to California, USA, in late 2007, Việt Hương became a key collaborator with the Thúy Nga Center, appearing in numerous DVD productions such as the highly popular 'Paris By Night' series, which is a favorite among Vietnamese communities abroad. Along with her co-actor Hoài Tâm, she has toured globally, bringing her comedy to audiences worldwide.

10. Danh hài Trường Giang
Trường Giang, born Võ Vũ Trường Giang on April 20, 1983, in Long Thành, Đồng Nai, is the youngest of six children in a poor family. Both his parents and extended family hail from Tam Kỳ, Quảng Nam. After finishing high school, Trường Giang attempted to enroll in the Đồng Nai University of Education but was unsuccessful. He later pursued acting at the University of Theater and Cinematic Arts but was expelled multiple times due to his inability to pay tuition fees. In 2007, he was discovered by the late artist Hữu Lộc while performing as an extra and was invited to join the Nụ Cười Mới comedy troupe.
Trường Giang's career took a significant turn in July 2011, when he was invited by singer Đàm Vĩnh Hưng to write and perform in a comedy sketch at the 'Bước Chân Miền Trung' live show. His portrayal of 'Mười Khó', a grumpy but endearing elder from Quảng Nam, left a strong impression on the audience. This performance catapulted his fame, leading him to perform in popular minishows alongside stars like Hoài Linh, Chí Tài, and Trấn Thành, and appear on numerous reality TV shows.
