1. Makoto Kyogoku and Sonoko Suzuki
Makoto Kyogoku and Sonoko Suzuki form one of the most unlikely pairs in the Conan universe. Despite their stark differences, they are drawn together by fate. She is a lively, modern-day heiress with a penchant for handsome men, while he is a reserved, traditional national karate champion with a stoic demeanor. Though their contrasting personalities could have driven them apart, it instead created a dynamic that balanced their weaknesses and made them stronger as a couple. In the Detective Conan series, their relationship, though the latest to develop, ends up being the most solid and fulfilling.

2. Kid and Shinichi
Kid and Shinichi are arguably the most beloved 'rival romance' pairing in the Detective Conan series. The two share striking similarities, with their faces almost identical and both possessing brilliant, unmatched deductive minds. Their dramatic showdowns and thrilling chases only fuel their growing fanbase. Despite being natural enemies, they are both simultaneously repelled and admired by one another, creating a perfect 'love-hate' dynamic. Imagine the chaos if these two were ever to live together—fans would surely shed tears over the fact that 'handsome men are few, and now they're together.'

3. Hattori and Conan
The charming Shinichi is not only paired with two beautiful girls but also with two talented young men. The Hattori and Conan duo has earned immense popularity for their close-knit relationship as perfect partners in solving complex cases. As they work side by side, they develop a deep brotherly bond, becoming more than just teammates.
Having faced countless life-or-death situations together, Hattori and Conan have always supported each other through it all. Their strong friendship has even sparked jealousy from Kazuha on several occasions. It's safe to say that Hattori could easily be a serious contender for Kid's affections.

4. Sato and Takagi
Sato is a sharp and quick-witted police officer admired by all her male colleagues at the precinct, while Takagi is the clumsy and awkward subordinate. Despite his somewhat awkward nature, Takagi is beloved by fans and has even earned the title of the "ideal man" for many women. He's a kind-hearted, honest, and sweet guy who always puts his beloved Sato before himself—there's no reason why Takagi wouldn't be adored.
With his courage and determination, Takagi eventually wins over Sato, sparking a perfect superior-subordinate romance. Their relationship often leaves their colleagues envious, leading to numerous attempts to meddle and interrupt their dates. As a result, their time together is rarely smooth sailing.

5. Kogoro Mouri and Eri Kisaki
Kogoro Mouri, once a disgraced police officer, now runs a private detective agency, while Eri Kisaki is a renowned lawyer in Japan. They are married and the parents of their martial arts-savvy daughter, Ran Mouri, the female lead of the Detective Conan series.
Kogoro Mouri and Eri Kisaki might be one of the oldest couples in the series, but that doesn't make them any less beloved by fans. Whenever this couple appears, it’s sure to be accompanied by heated arguments and bickering.
However, despite their constant clashes, both Mouri and Eri still share deep feelings for each other, understanding one another and ready to sacrifice their lives if necessary. Many fans eagerly hope for their reunion, dreaming of a perfect family alongside their daughter, Ran Mouri.

6. Hondo Eisuke and Mouri Ran
Hondo Eisuke and Mouri Ran share a deep friendship, with Eisuke's feelings for Ran being completely genuine. Although Ran regards him with affection, she only sees him as a friend, while Eisuke remains unwavering in his feelings for her, even though she is already taken. He refuses to give up on her, holding onto his love despite knowing the odds.
However, love cannot be forced, and despite his devotion, it remains unrequited. Eisuke will eventually have to face the reality that Ran Mouri's heart belongs to detective Shinichi Kudo.

7. Conan and the Black-Clad Assassin
Arguably the most unique couple in the series, Conan is closely linked to the mysterious Black Organization, often referred to as 'death itself.' Wherever there is a case, Conan is present, always shadowed by the elusive Black-Clad Assassins. Their connection feels almost supernatural, as if they're destined to be tied together, like two sides of the same coin.
After a brief moment of realization, one can't help but acknowledge that this pairing is one of the most intriguing in the series. Wherever there is a murder, Conan is there, always accompanied by the unseen Black-Clad Assassins. This pairing is easily one of the most mysterious and captivating in the entire Detective Conan saga.

8. Kudo Shinichi and Ran Mouri
Shinichi and Ran are perhaps the most beloved couple in the iconic Detective Conan series. As childhood friends, they have shared countless unforgettable memories and have grown so inseparable that their bond is almost second nature.
Despite being shrunk down to the size of a child, Shinichi still shows his romantic side, constantly watching over and worrying about Ran Mouri. His feelings for her have remained unchanged over the years. Even in the form of an elementary school student, he often gets incredibly jealous whenever any boy shows interest in Ran. For many, Shinichi and Ran's relationship might seem overly familiar, as they’ve known each other for so long, but there's so much more beneath the surface: care, excitement, anticipation, trust, and perhaps even a sense of helplessness, as they’re so close yet so far apart, unable to express their feelings directly.

9. Kazuha and Hattori Henji
Hattori, the son of the police chief of Osaka, is a skilled detective, often referred to as the 'Great Detective of the West.' He is just as sharp and intelligent as Shinichi. The couple shares many similarities with Shinichi and Ran: both are brilliant high school detectives, and Kazuha is a skilled martial artist. While both Hattori and Kazuha are aware of their feelings for each other, they haven't yet found the right moment to confess. As a result, their interactions are endearingly awkward and warm, though tinged with shyness. Perhaps the author is keeping their love story on hold to keep fans eagerly waiting.
One of the most memorable moments showcasing Kazuha's feelings is from the case on Mermaid Island. When the two were searching for evidence on a mountain, Kazuha accidentally slipped and nearly fell off a cliff. Hattori managed to grab her hand just in time, but the weight of both of them threatened to break the branch he was holding onto. In a desperate act to protect him, Kazuha used an arrow to stab her own hand, forcing Hattori to let go and save her.

10. Haibara and Conan
Shinichi is certainly quite the heartthrob, not only being paired with Ran Mori, but also with a surprising number of fans rooting for the couple of Conan and Haibara.
Both Conan and Haibara, having been shrunk down to children, often find themselves working together on cases to uncover the mysterious Black Organization. Working side by side, facing danger and solving cases, the bond between Conan and Ai deepens. They grow to understand each other on a level that only those who’ve stared death in the face can.
It’s clear that Haibara harbors quiet feelings for Conan. What makes it even more heart-wrenching for fans is watching Ai endure seeing Conan’s affection for Ran, all while she silently supports their relationship. Ai’s kind, selfless nature is often hidden behind her cold exterior, which has earned her a great deal of affection from fans.
