The Face Vietnam is a reality TV competition about modeling, based on the original American version of The Face, founded by supermodel Naomi Campbell. The Vietnamese edition first aired at 8:00 PM on June 18, 2016, on VTV3. Following the structure of the original version, the show aims to find a model with the right look and skills to become a commercial model and, ideally, a brand ambassador.
The basic format of The Face is that after casting, contestants are divided into three teams, each led by a coach who is either a model (or a celebrity with expertise in commercial advertising). They are trained in model techniques like runway walking, fashion photography, brand photo shoots, and filming TV commercials to eventually select one winner to be The Face Vietnam.

2. Let’s Date
Let’s Date is a reality TV talk show based on the popular Japanese format “Punchide Date” from Kansai TV. In today’s busy world, where work, study, and online distractions like games and social media make it difficult for people to find time for relationships, Let’s Date provides a solution. Since its inception over 30 years ago, the original Japanese format has helped connect thousands of young hearts, many of whom have found love and even marriage through the show.
Each 30-minute episode of Let’s Date is dedicated to singles over 18 who are serious about finding love but have not yet met the right person. The show introduces two new couples who have never met before. They have 10 minutes each to get to know each other through conversation and interaction on stage.

3. Rap Viet
Rap Viet is the Vietnamese adaptation of the popular Thai show, The Rapper. The program has garnered several prestigious awards such as the 23rd Asian Television Awards in 2018 for 'Best Entertainment Program,' the 2019 Asian Academy Creative Awards, and the 2019 Zocial Awards in Thailand. Despite being only two years old, The Rapper has become a beloved reality TV show about rap in Asia, with each episode attracting millions of views and great attention from fans.
Rap Viet serves as a stage for talented rappers to compete and showcase their unique styles and personalities, offering something new in Vietnam’s music competition scene. It aims to bring rap and hip-hop, genres that have long thrived in the underground world, closer to mainstream audiences. Breaking these barriers is not only the dream of rap enthusiasts but also the ambition of top Vietnamese rappers.

4. Running Man Vietnam
Running Man Vietnam is the Vietnamese version of the famous reality show Running Man, originally from South Korea. It is the third international edition of the show, following the Korean and Chinese versions. The show is a collaboration between Ho Chi Minh City Television and SBS, alongside Dong Tay Promotion.
So far, Running Man Vietnam has aired two seasons, titled 'Chạy đi chờ chi' and 'Chơi là chạy,' featuring fixed members from the Vietnamese entertainment scene such as actress Ninh Dương Lan Ngọc, singer Ngô Kiến Huy, singer Jun Phạm, actor Liên Bỉnh Phát, and actor Trương Thế Vinh, along with guest stars in each episode. Like its predecessors, the show includes various games to find clues or collect items for the 'Name Tag Elimination' challenge, a game that determines the winner of each race, creating intense and hilarious moments throughout the episodes.

5. 2 Days 1 Night
2 Days 1 Night is a new reality travel show in Vietnam, produced by Ho Chi Minh City Television in collaboration with Dong Tay Promotion. It premiered on HTV7 on June 19, 2022. This show is the Vietnamese version of the popular South Korean program of the same name, originally produced by KBS.
In each episode of 2 Days 1 Night, viewers follow the show's cast as they journey across the country to explore scenic landscapes, historical landmarks, and beautiful sites of Vietnam. Along the way, the participants engage in fun challenges and activities prepared by the show's crew, offering unique experiences related to the local culture of the areas they visit. The show features a rotating cast, including famous personalities like Trường Giang, Kiều Minh Tuấn, Ngô Kiến Huy, Lê Dương Bảo Lâm, Cris Phan, and HIEUTHUHAI, along with various celebrity guests. The show's slogan, 'Free to Handle,' promises light-hearted, family-friendly entertainment for all.

6. The Brilliant Journey
Premiering on VTV3 on May 28, 2023, The Brilliant Journey is a unique Vietnamese reality show centered around culture. It quickly gained a substantial following, which is rare for a new program. With the motto 'Embrace the Essence of Vietnam,' the show allows artists to immerse themselves in the rich cultural traditions of various localities while taking on challenges set by the local people they encounter.
Upon its debut, The Brilliant Journey was compared by viewers to the HTV7 show 2 Days 1 Night. Producer Đặng Phước Thành explained that while in 2 Days 1 Night, participants compete in mental challenges against the crew for benefits, The Brilliant Journey gives them more opportunities to interact directly with locals, fostering a deeper connection between tradition and modernity.

7. The New Mentor
Since its premiere on August 11, 2023, The New Mentor, a reality show dedicated to discovering and training the next generation of models, has garnered an impressive 3,006,950 views, ranking #5 on trending just six days after airing. The program invites contestants—experienced models and former beauty queens—to face new challenges, pushing them to compete fiercely for a chance to become the next 'Mentor' in Vietnam’s modeling industry.
The show's popularity is not only driven by its intense challenges but also by the star-studded panel of Super Mentors, including singer Hồ Ngọc Hà, supermodel Thanh Hằng, Miss Hương Giang, and supermodel Lan Khuê. Their presence from the very announcement of the show generated massive anticipation, making The New Mentor 2023 an exciting journey to discover the next top-tier model and mentor in Vietnam.

8. Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? is the Vietnamese version of the famous global quiz show. It first aired on VTV3 on January 4, 2005. The goal of the show is to win 150,000,000 VND by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. The program is broadcast on VTV3 every Tuesday at 8:30 PM, with a rerun at 10:00 AM the following Wednesday. The show was initially hosted by Lại Văn Sâm until his retirement at age 60, and after several host changes, it is now presented by Professor 'Cù Trọng Xoay' - Đinh Tiến Dũng.
Contestants answer questions ranging from easy to difficult, without a time limit for thinking. Each question has a corresponding prize value. To secure a prize, contestants must pass three critical milestones: question 5, question 10, and question 15. Reaching these milestones guarantees the prize money for those questions. Contestants may choose to stop the game at any point and keep the prize money they have accumulated. If they continue and answer incorrectly, they leave with the prize for the last milestone they passed. However, if they answer incorrectly before question 5, they walk away with no prize. If they answer all 15 questions correctly, they become a millionaire.

9. Who's the One?
Who's the One? is a Thai-origin entertainment show where each episode focuses on a beautiful, intelligent, and single female protagonist, who has experienced past heartbreaks but is now open to new love. Throughout the show, a panel of four celebrity advisors helps the woman choose the right match from five men, divided into three groups: single, taken, and third gender (with the number in each group varying). The goal is to find the man who is both single and the best fit for her.
The journey on Who's the One? unfolds in three stages: first, the five men introduce themselves in short video clips, and the woman eliminates one who doesn't seem suitable. Then, the remaining four contestants participate in a challenge, with another elimination. In the final round, the last three men share personal stories, and the woman reveals her choice.

10. Lightning Speed
Lightning Speed is a thrilling game show based on the popular Thai format, Lightning Quiz. The show first aired in April 2018 and has since enjoyed two successful seasons, consistently maintaining high ratings and trending on social media. In each episode, six contestants are divided into two teams (A and B, with the first two episodes featuring teams 1 and 2), each consisting of three members. The teams compete head-to-head in a knockout format, with the winning team advancing to the next round.
A season of Lightning Speed consists of 32 episodes, split into two rounds of 15 episodes each, along with a Super Cup match for the winners of both rounds and a final recap episode. The competition starts with the qualifiers, where 16 teams compete in knockout matches. The 8 winning teams progress to the quarterfinals, followed by the semifinals, and ultimately the grand finale where the last two teams face off for the championship title.
