1. Brabus Rocket Used in Germany
Germany is the birthplace of many famous car brands known globally such as BMW M5, Audi RS6, and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, the Brabus Rocket. The Brabus Rocket, produced since 2006, is a series of modified cars manufactured by Brabus, a high-performance car tuning company from Germany. In 2006, the Federal Ministry of Transport of Germany and the Association of German Automobile Tuners (Brabus) created the Tune It Safe! program. From this program, Brabus unveiled the police version of the Mercedes CLS V12 S Rocket. It quickly became the most widely publicized design among Brabus' designs. The Brabus Rocket always makes it to the list of the coolest police cars in the world today.
The Brabus Rocket is a first-generation CLS-Class. Unlike the CLS, the Rocket is equipped with a twin-turbocharged V12 engine, the 6.3-liter Brabus SV12 S. In 2006, the Brabus Rocket set the world speed record on land for a street-legal pickup truck (including any police car). The Brabus Rocket achieved a speed of 365.7 km/h (227.2 mph) on the Nardo Ring in Southern Italy. The engine has been heavily modified, with a carbon fiber ram-air intake system, twin turbochargers, four intercoolers, and a stainless steel exhaust system. Power is delivered through a quick-shifting seven-speed gearbox with a limited-slip differential.

2. Citroën Ami used in Italy
Although not the most sleekly designed police car, the Citroën Ami police car in Venice has its own unique charm. With a top speed of only 28mph, the Citroen Ami doesn't seem like the ideal vehicle to transform into a police car. It's one of six vehicles Citroen has provided to the government on the tiny, incredibly picturesque island of Chalki in Greece (also known as 'Halki'). Part of the Dodecanese islands off the southwestern coast of Turkey, Chalki measures just 11 square miles. The Ami is one of six fully electric vehicles being used as part of a plan to turn the island of Chalki into a 'green economy' through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Greek government, Citroën, Vinci, and Akuo Greece.
Equipped with an 8-horsepower electric motor and technically classified as a quadricycle rather than a car, it can fit into small spaces where regular cars would get stuck. The Ami has a 5.5 kWh battery and can travel about 47 miles on a single charge, more than enough for the narrow streets and alleys of Venice. The Citroën Ami is dubbed the 'slowest police car in the world.' Another Ami is also provided to the coast guard, along with two e-C4s and a small e-Spacetourer minibus for the Municipality of Chalki and an electric van for the Chalki Energy Community.

3. Bugatti Veyron used in Dubai, UAE
Dubai is one of the safest cities in the world, and the government spared no expense in equipping its police force with top-of-the-line vehicles from around the world. The Dubai police force is known for its impressive car collection. Recently, the Dubai police force was awarded the Guinness World Record certification for owning the world's fastest police car in service - a Bugatti Veyron - one of their 14 powerful supercar fleets. A luxurious police supercar fleet befitting Dubai's extravagant nature. These cars patrol the Dubai Mall area and the Jumeirah Beach Residence to attract tourists and attention.
Aside from the flashy cars, the Dubai police force aims to promote their gender equality message by showcasing the fact that there are also plenty of female drivers in Dubai. The Dubai police force owns a Bugatti Veyron with a top speed of 408 km/h, a Ferrari, multiple Porsche models, McLarens, and even Bentleys in their lineup. The Dubai police force has also added a new 2021 Genesis GV80 to their fleet, featuring a menacing look and premium features along with a 3.5-liter turbocharged V8 engine. The 2021 Toyota Supra has also been added to the Dubai police force fleet earlier, boasting the ability to hit 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.

4. Lamborghini Gallardo used in Italy
A private ceremony was held at the Viminale Palace, where the men from Sant'Agata were present to present a brand new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 to the police force. The new Lamborghini will replace the first-generation Gallardo that the force received in 2004. The car has performed exceptionally, having covered 87,000 miles and requiring no repairs other than scheduled maintenance.
The Lamborghini Gallardo will be equipped with the latest high-tech police equipment, including video cameras, license plate scanners, and real-time connectivity to HQ. It also has a GPS tracker, allowing for marking of the Lamborghini's speed, location, and direction, along with speed and timing to intercept potential offenders.
The Lamborghini Gallardo is also equipped with standard police equipment - radios, computers, gun holsters, and handheld stop signs they use when pulling people over. All 30 police officers driving the Lamborghini have been specially trained on how to use the vehicle for high-speed maneuvers, medical emergencies, and pursuits. The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is so fast that Lamborghini had to redo the blue flashing lights above to make it more aerodynamic, as it reaches speeds of somewhere near 200 mph.

5. Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z07 used in the United States
The city of New Braunfels, Texas, USA has an incredibly unique patrol vehicle. It's the Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z07 with 1,000 horsepower that they seized in a major drug bust. Instead of crushing the car as per standard procedure for seized vehicles in criminal cases, the New Braunfels Police Department used it as a police cruiser and added it to their fleet after the court awarded them the vehicle. While the car isn't used for chasing criminals, it's used as a PR vehicle to promote community outreach programs and serves as an interesting symbol of the police department at community events like a mascot.
The Corvette C6 is the sixth generation of Chevrolet's two-seat sports car. It was sold from 2005 to 2013 and was replaced by the C7 Corvette. The C6 features updated styling, new technology, upgraded suspension systems, and larger engines compared to the preceding C5 Corvette. Compared to its predecessor, the C6's passenger compartment is larger, the overall length of the car is about 5 inches shorter, and the wheelbase is longer, aiming to improve handling and vehicle quality. The C6 is also the first Corvette generation to have exposed headlamps since 1962. All versions of the C6 coupe come with a removable roof panel to provide a targa-like experience. Combined with the lighter weight of the car, performance has been significantly improved over its predecessor, with acceleration times from 0-100 km/h in just over four seconds.

6. Holden Commodore HSV GTS used in Australia
The highway patrol team of NSW Police, Australia welcomed a new car into their fleet, the HSV Gen-F GTS that has been tuned. Although the car is capable of chasing down many criminals, it will be used for display purposes only. Joining vehicles like the Porsche Panamera police car and the FPV GT 400 and Lotus Elise introduced earlier, the HSV GTS will be used to connect with the younger generation of drivers. It has a slightly tuned engine, not requiring any adjustments from the factory unit.
A one-off project sponsored by the NSW Roads Safety Centre will combine with the turbocharged Ford Falcon GT sponsored by the Traffic Accident Commission. The police car has been tuned to produce nearly 500kW of power, making it the most powerful police car in Australia. Equipped with a supercharged V8 6.2-liter engine, it can reach the speed limit in just 4.3 seconds. The HSV GTS worth $100,000 has about $20,000 worth of performance upgrades, boosting power from the standard 430 kW to nearly 500 kW, more than a V8 Supercar, designed to introduce the best police technology.
Most Holden Commodore HSV GTS police cars of the NSW Police have vehicle-mounted cameras (front and rear), as well as roof-mounted cameras that can read license plates in both directions in a fraction of a second. Automatic number plate readers can detect stolen or unregistered vehicles and wanted criminals. This device complements mobile radar devices, alcohol and drug testing equipment, as well as road spikes in the trunk to stop fleeing drivers on their tracks. With all the police computer systems and communication equipment, modern police cars are almost like a mobile police station.

7. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X used in the UK
Not to be outdone by other police forces like the Italian police with the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4, the South Yorkshire Police in the United Kingdom seized the opportunity with Mitsubishi Motors and acquired the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, the third crime-fighting Evo in their fleet. This model boasts excellent pursuit capabilities, and practicality has been a priority, spending considerable time and effort maximizing performance while minimizing accident risks. With the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds, the Evo X MR 295 horsepower with the TC-SST dual-clutch transmission can easily catch up with most drug dealers and car thieves that the Road Crime Unit faces on a daily basis.
This is not the only Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X in use by police forces in the UK. With three Mitsubishis, an Evo XIII and Evo IX having been used for years prior, officers can 'hunt in packs' and eliminate hot pursuits on the winding roads of the area before they even begin. The new police car has been given police livery and light bars installed by the factory, while inside, the latest Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system allows officers to quickly track suspicious vehicles. This model will also be used at other events to engage with the community and car enthusiasts alike.

8. W Motors Ghiath used in the UAE
W Motors unveils the Ghiath Smart Patrol crafted for the Dubai police force, a large SUV that's anything but ordinary. The Dubai police force has just ordered 400 of them, and each one is impossible to overlook. The design of the W Motors Ghiath undoubtedly resembles the Nissan Patrol and the UAE versions of the large SUV, featuring either a V6 4.0-liter or V8 5.6-liter engine (V8 engine under 400 horsepower) at the front. The Ghiath is the first W Motors vehicle manufactured at the company's new 'Silicon Oasis' factory in Dubai, the same company that created the Lykan HyperSport, the flying car in Fast & Furious 7.
The W Motors Ghiath used by the UAE police force is fully equipped with technology. It has a deployable 360-degree panoramic camera, eight external surveillance cameras, facial and license plate recognition systems, a 16-inch interior screen connected to the main controller, and even driver behavior cameras. As expected of a dream car, there are custom rear seats, a protective cage, storage compartments for safety and rescue equipment, and even a drone on the roof.

9. Nissan GT-R R35 in use in Japan
Nissan has quite an interesting history in crafting police cars for Japanese police departments. There have been Silvia police cars, black and white Fairlady Zs, and of course, Skylines. Some of those Skylines are four-door sedan models, but there are also police versions of the GT-R to catch particularly fast criminals. To this day, the tradition continues as the Tochigi prefectural police department receives the first Nissan GT-R R35 police car in the country. It's no coincidence that the Tochigi prefectural police department also gets GT-Rs. Tochigi is where GT-Rs are manufactured, and the plant there just turned 50 not long ago.
Although the Nissan GT-R R35 has been in production for over a decade now, its drivetrain system is still very impressive with 565 horsepower. Combined with an all-wheel-drive system, the GT-R R35 is like a serious police cruiser in Japan. However, the light bar might outshine the top speed of the car by a few miles. Nonetheless, the special edition GT-R police car doesn't have the speed limiter of 180 km/h (112 mph) that civilian cars in Japan have. So, it still has to be one of the fastest machines on Japanese streets. The GT-R will also be used for community relations work, so it's not just for catching speeders.

10. Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde in use in Italy
Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde stands out as one of the coolest police cars in the world today. The Italian police force has acquired some versions of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the 503-horsepower Giulia model with a 6-speed manual transmission. Converting it for police use isn't just about decals, lights, and sirens anymore; the Giulia also comes equipped with a suite of cameras and tablets. And unlike that Lotus, there's plenty of seating to corral a few crooks at once.
Alfa Romeo has delivered two specially specced cars for Italy's national military police force - the Carabinieri. Adorned in the unit's iconic deep blue and red livery, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde is assessed to have the same design as the brand's civilian models. Inside, the car looks more luxurious than ever, even with all the accessories. Police radios, passenger-side tablets, and switches for lights and sirens are seamlessly integrated. Meanwhile, the heart defibrillator, weapon storage, mobile cooling device, and LED flashlight holder are tucked out of sight.
Surprisingly, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde won't be used for high-speed pursuits because they're too valuable. Instead, they'll be used for ceremonies, rapid emergency response, and special activities, such as transporting blood and organs for critically ill patients. The first two Giulia QVs have already been handed over to the Carabinieri, with Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne present to honor. The Giulia is part of a larger deal to supply cars to the Italian police, with several Alfas as well as Jeeps and Fiats among them.
