Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Vietcombank is the largest company on the Vietnam stock market by market capitalization. Vietcombank officially began operations on April 1, 1963, under Decree No. 115/CP issued by the Government Council, having been separated from the Foreign Exchange Bureau of the State Bank of Vietnam. Saigon Beer, Alcohol, and Beverage Corporation - Sabeco is a joint-stock enterprise in Vietnam. Although a joint-stock company, the state holds nearly 90% of its charter capital, with the Ministry of Industry and Trade acting as the state’s representative in the company. The corporation owns the Saigon Beer and 333 Beer brands. The company traces its origins back to a small brewery founded by Victor Larue, a Frenchman in Indochina, in Saigon in 1875. Thirty-five years later, in 1910, the brewery grew into a complete factory producing beer, soft drinks, and ice. In September 1927, the factory officially joined the BGI Group of France, and 50 years later, in 1977, it was managed by the Southern Alcohol and Beer Company.
