10. Shimotsuki wa Mob ga Suki
Securing the 10th position is Shimotsuki wa Mob ga Suki with 5,356,272 views. Crafted by author Yagami Kagami and illustrated by Roha, Shimotsuki wa Mob ga Suki unfolds from a meta perspective, a term signifying an outlook beyond the world, objectively grasping the entities and events in this realm. A romcom tale about the background character Shimotsuki-san wholeheartedly admires.
If this were a typical romcom, I might just be an extra character, no more, no less. The step-sister, the close friend, and even the childhood friend, everyone now swoons over that charming name. Without doing anything, just by breathing, she effortlessly earns admiration, casually turning the important girls in my life into part of her harem. The main character, now joyfully reveling in the youth of adolescence. As a supporting character, I should've only been able to sit in the corner and observe the main character from afar... but she discovered me. Whether it's the main character's childhood friend, in the role of the heroine, that girl still chose me. Normally silent and expressionless, she laughs and talks with me. She insists I'm special, surpassing even that main character, even though I'm just a background character... This is the story of me, a bland background character.
