Recognizing this, the idea for Sun, Where Are You was born during the pregnancy of the film's producer, who wanted to bring cinema closer to young audiences, helping children connect with and understand their parents better.
Sun, Where Are You follows the journey of Á, a 10-year-old street vendor, and his companion Xuka, a 9-year-old girl, as they escape a group of kidnappers and try to find their way back home.
Not only is this an engaging film for families, but it also sends a powerful message to adults who, often caught up in work, forget that children need love and care from their parents too.

2. Kung Fu Legend (Dec 7)
Kung Fu Legend is a martial arts-comedy film featuring four legendary martial artists: Wong Fei-hung (played by Zhao Wenzhuo), Huo Yuanjia (An Zhijie), Chen Zhen (Chen Guokun), and Ip Man (Du Wuhang).
By chance, the four of them time travel and meet in the modern day. Coming from different martial arts schools and representing distinct eras, conflicts inevitably arise among them. However, they share a common ideal of fighting for a better world, and unite to eliminate evil forces together.
With the appearance of these legendary masters like Wong Fei-hung, Huo Yuanjia, Chen Zhen, and Ip Man, the film Kung Fu League (Vietnamese title: Kung Fu Legend) directed by Lau Chan-wei promises to be a thrilling and captivating experience for fans of Chinese martial arts films.

3. The Impostor Reindeer (Dec 7)
A wonderful movie for kids this Christmas, promising unforgettable moments of joy.
The Impostor Reindeer tells the story of a young horse named Elliot who has a big dream: to become a member of Santa Claus's reindeer team. However, to achieve this, Elliot must face many challenges.
With determination and a strong will, he does everything in his power to prove himself. Will his three-day journey to the North Pole, disguised as a reindeer, be successful? Let’s wait and see.

4. Aquaman: King of Atlantis (Dec 13)
Aquaman is one of DC's oldest comic book characters and a founding member of the Justice League. After his striking debut in Justice League, the superhero has gained tremendous popularity with audiences.
This time, he stars in his own solo film, set after the events of Justice League. Arthur Curry, also known as Aquaman, teams up with Atlantis and strives to bridge two worlds: the underwater realm of Atlantis and the surface world. However, Arthur faces a formidable enemy in the form of his half-brother, Orm, who seeks to attack the surface world to avenge the harm humanity has caused to the oceans.
This is also the only DC film in 2018, and with overwhelmingly positive early screenings, Aquaman promises to bring a shining moment for the DC universe.

5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Dec 14)
The blockbuster Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an incredible animated film about various Spider-Men on a mission to save New York City from an evil force. This time, the film no longer focuses on just Peter Parker, but introduces a "squad" of Spider-Men from alternate universes.
The story centers around Miles Morales, a young African American from Brooklyn, who is one of the most promising young Spider-Men in the Spider-Verse. Miles doesn’t even know he possesses Spider-Man’s powers until he accidentally discovers them. He is then mentored by a veteran Spider-Man who appears to be a drunkard but is actually kind-hearted and determined: Peter Parker.
Also appearing are the fierce Spider-Gwen in her white suit, the adorable Spider-Man Peni, and the witty Spider-Ham. Together, they face off against two familiar villains: Prowler (Mahershala Ali) and Kingpin (Liev Schreiber).
Recently, the film received a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes and is predicted to be the most "exciting" Spider-Man movie in history.

6. Ice Man 2 (Dec 14)
Ice Man 2 continues the adventure of the Ming Dynasty's elite guard, played by Donnie Yen, as he finds himself in the modern world. The story begins when he is accidentally frozen during a battle, and his body is preserved for nearly 400 years.
After being discovered, his frozen body is transferred to Hong Kong for research. However, before the scientists can study him, he breaks free from the ice, comes back to life, and embarks on a new life in a completely unfamiliar world.
What follows are a series of humorous and dramatic situations as a soldier from the past with unfamiliar clothes navigates through the bustling, glamorous city streets. Two other elite guards are sent to track him down because back in the Tang Dynasty, he was accused of treason.

7. The Old Lady with Many Faces 2 (Dec 14)
Following the success of Diem My, Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc takes on the lead role in the second installment of the movie series The Old Lady with Many Faces, directed by Bao Nhan and Namcito. This chick-flick centers around the modern life and love of a city woman.
The story revolves around Ms. Q, a 34-year-old independent, sophisticated woman (played by Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc) who is juggling her career and personal life. She gets involved in a quirky romance with Jack, a 25-year-old male escort (played by Le Xuan Tien). Their relationship leads to a series of hilarious and emotional events that completely change her life and career.

8. Mortal Engines (Dec 7)
Based on the award-winning four-part children's novel series by Philippa Reeve, Mortal Engines has captivated moviegoers from the moment the project was announced. The screenplay is the latest creation from the talented couple Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh, along with screenwriter Philippa Boyens.
The story is set in a futuristic world where enormous cities hunt and fight each other to survive. It is expected to become a cultural landmark, just like The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, created by these legendary filmmakers.
With the buzz surrounding its production, movie enthusiasts are already calling Mortal Engines the biggest blockbuster of the year from Universal Studios, promising to shake up the box office this holiday season.

9. When the Widows Strike (Dec 7)
When the Widows Strike is based on the hit British TV series from 1983-1985, receiving multiple nominations. The story follows a group of four robbers: Harry Rawlings (Liam Neeson), Carlos Perelli (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), Florek Gunner (Jon Bernthal), and Jimmy Nunn (Coburn Goss). After a failed heist, all of them are killed by the police.
Their wives begin to receive threats from their husband's criminal associates, demanding the massive sums of money that went missing. Refusing to accept defeat, widows Veronica Rawlings (Viola Davis), Linda Perelli (Michelle Rodriguez), Alice Gunner (Elizabeth Debicki), and Belle (Cynthia Erivo) team up for one last heist.
From there, tangled relationships and mind games ensue. These seemingly fragile widows must not only face ruthless criminals but also uncover the dark secrets their husbands kept hidden. With thrilling action sequences and unexpected twists, the film promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats until the very end.

10. Silver Soul 2: Breaking the Rules (December 7)
Fans of "Gintama" and Japanese manga, in general, will undoubtedly be drawn to the live-action adaptation created by the talented filmmakers from Japan. Set in the fictional Edo period of the 19th century, the story centers on Gintoki, a legendary but lazy and irresponsible samurai.
In 2017, Gintama made its theatrical debut with a live-action version that quickly earned nearly 1,000 billion yen worldwide. Following the success, the production team continued with a second part, which grossed over 700 billion yen, primarily within Japan.
This December, Vietnamese audiences will have the chance to experience this film, with the thrilling Silver Soul 2: Breaking the Rules, promising an explosive conclusion to the year.
