1. Ba Ra Mountain Tourist Area, Thac Mo Waterfall
Ba Ra Mountain Tourist Area, Thac Mo Waterfall is located at the boundary of Son Giang and Thac Mo wards in Phuoc Long town, Binh Phuoc. Ba Ra Mountain is the tallest mountain in Binh Phuoc and ranks third in the Southeast region. Visitors can conquer the mountain by hiking or taking the cable car, with a breathtaking view from the summit overlooking Phuoc Long town and the Thac Mo Hydroelectric Lake, sparkling amidst the clouds and dense forest, resembling a beautiful painting. Additionally, tourists can join local fishermen in catching fish during sunset and savor delicious grilled fish dishes. At an elevation of nearly 750 meters above sea level, Ba Ra Mountain enchants visitors with its mystical and unique beauty. A 1,767-step stone path leads to the top, surrounded by lush greenery and ancient trees several centuries old.
From the summit of Ba Ra Mountain, visitors can gaze upon the heart of Phuoc Long, Thac Mo town, and the expansive 12,000-hectare Thac Mo Hydroelectric Reservoir. The refreshing air from the lake adds to the serene atmosphere. On the peak, there is a 48-meter tall antenna for broadcasting television signals to remote areas of the province. A sacred temple dedicated to the Buddhist Goddess Thiên Hậu and the Goddess Chúa Xứ (at Ba Ra Mountain) stands at the top, with plans for a new Buddhist spiritual tourism site in the area. Ba Ra Mountain is also home to the Doi Cave and Ba Bảy Tuyết Cave, offering beautiful, mystical spots perfect for relaxation and exploration. 2. Nam Cat Tien Forest
Nam Cat Tien Forest spans five districts: Tan Phu, Cat Tien, Bao Loc (Lam Dong), Vinh Cuu (Dong Nai), and Bu Dang (Binh Phuoc). Located about 150 km north of Ho Chi Minh City, it takes around four hours by car to reach the forest. Nam Cat Tien is a tropical lowland rainforest known for its rich and diverse flora and fauna. The forest is home to over 600 plant species, including around 100 varieties of precious hardwoods, hundreds of medicinal plants, and more than 60 types of orchids. The wildlife here includes over 240 species of birds, pheasants, crocodiles, storks, monkeys, rhinoceroses, and elephants. The forest's cool climate, thanks to its many rivers and streams, makes it a pleasant destination even in summer. The region is also home to indigenous Mạ and S'tiêng peoples, who maintain their distinct traditions and customs.
Visitors to Nam Cat Tien Forest can enjoy various exciting activities such as hiking, cycling through the forest, and observing crocodiles. Hiking trails lead through dense woods, crossing streams and revealing beautiful spots like Elephant Hill, White Stone Hill – Long House, and Bat Cave. Alternatively, cycling through winding forest paths provides an opportunity to observe rare and ancient trees, such as the 400-year-old Tung tree with its giant roots, a nearly seven-century-old Redwood, Heaven Waterfall, the Ben Cu Stone Rapids, and the uniquely shaped six-tipped Lagerstroemia tree. Additionally, Bau Sau, a popular crocodile viewing spot, allows visitors to see these fascinating creatures up close.


3. Waterfall No. 4
Waterfall No. 4 Tourist Area was established in 1998 and covers an area of approximately 20 hectares, located in Tan Loi, Hon Quan, Binh Long District, Binh Phuoc. This waterfall attracts visitors with its stunning natural surroundings, featuring many ancient trees with massive exposed roots encircling the waterfall. A hanging bridge made from tree roots connects both sides of the stream, creating a picturesque scene straight out of a fairytale. Visitors to Waterfall No. 4 can enjoy a symphony of sounds: the melodious songs of birds, the gentle rush of water like the strumming of a harp, and the rustling of leaves in the wind. The cozy cottages are equipped with modern amenities, and visitors can indulge in local specialties, leaving with unforgettable memories.
The Waterfall No. 4 area is made up of sturdy green stone blocks arranged across a small stream that winds through a forested hill and stretches across an untouched wilderness. The largest waterfall is about 3 meters long and 2 meters high, while the smallest waterfall measures about 1 meter in length and 1.5 meters in height. Together, these waterfalls flow into circular pools with a 2.5-meter radius, creating foam that splashes over centuries-old stone formations. On both sides of the stream, many trees, some over a hundred years old, intertwine with thick vines as big around as an adult's arms and legs. These vines twist like dragons from the roots to the tops of the trees, forming a magical, fairy-tale-like stream in an enchanted garden. In this serene garden, visitors can listen to the natural music of the mountains and forests: the soothing sound of flowing water, the calls of forest birds, and the whispering leaves in the trees. This is a perfect spot for sightseeing, relaxation, and immersing oneself in the peaceful, cool natural environment.

4. Elephant Waterfall
Elephant Waterfall stands about 15 meters tall and 8 meters wide, located in Dong Nai commune, Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc. According to local legend, herds of elephants once gathered here to drink and play, and so the waterfall was named Elephant Waterfall, a name that has been passed down through generations. During the rainy season, the waterfall surges with frothy white water, surrounded by towering ancient trees that add to its dramatic beauty. To reach the waterfall, visitors must navigate a difficult path with steep, rocky cliffs and winding trails, but the reward is well worth the effort. Once there, guests can relax on flat rock surfaces, enjoy the sight of flocks of storks returning to their nests at sunset, or try their hand at fishing for a fresh, delicious meal from nature.
Elephant Waterfall, like many natural waterfalls, was formed millions of years ago through geological processes in the area. It is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved waterfalls in Binh Phuoc, still retaining the pristine beauty of the forest. Today, local authorities have invested in preserving and enhancing the site's natural value. The waterfall flows year-round, its water cascading over large, layered stones that resemble the shape of an elephant. The waterfall, part of the Tràng Cỏ Bù Lạch scenic area, is 13 meters wide, 14 meters high, and has a steep 90-degree slope. The surrounding lush forest, crystal-clear streams, and cool winds create a peaceful, refreshing atmosphere. The rocky bottom of the waterfall is uneven, with large rocks protruding, creating a magical landscape. The area features deep crevices and towering cliffs covered in vegetation, further enhancing its breathtaking beauty.

5. Standing Waterfall
Standing Waterfall is a true masterpiece of nature, showcasing stunning and unique scenery that exudes a raw, untouched beauty. Situated along the Dakwoa stream, straddling the boundary of two communes, Doan Ket and Minh Hung in Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc, this waterfall is considered one of the most beautiful natural attractions in the province. During the rainy season, the waterfall roars with power, sending heavy torrents of water tumbling down and spreading rich silt that nourishes the surrounding plains. In contrast, during the dry season, Standing Waterfall becomes gentler and more tranquil, with soft streams of water flowing gracefully through rocky channels, creating a serene atmosphere. This ever-changing character makes it an irresistible destination for visitors to Binh Phuoc.
The waterfall is located about 6 kilometers southwest of Duc Phong town in Bu Dang, and approximately 60 kilometers northeast of Dong Xoai town. Standing Waterfall stands at a height of 4 to 6 meters and spans about 10 meters in width, cascading over hexagonal-shaped rock formations stacked together like natural steps, forming vertical cliffs, which likely inspired its name. At the base of the waterfall, a variety of large and small boulders spread out along the Dakwoa stream, creating a picturesque, seemingly endless scene. The riverbanks are lined with lush grass, towering ancient trees providing shade, and sporadic clusters of orchids and wildflowers adding splashes of color. The boulders, scattered without any specific order, form a natural bridge allowing visitors to cross over during low water levels. The area is also a popular spot for the local S'tiêng ethnic community, who use it for cultural festivals and community events. In early 2014, the provincial government officially recognized Standing Waterfall as a provincial heritage site.

6. Bu Dang Rubber Forest
It's easy to find rubber forests in Binh Phuoc, but few places leave such a lasting impression as the Bu Dang Rubber Forest. Located in the Nhân Cơ commune, Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc, this forest offers a stunning view with a mix of young and mature rubber trees, creating a colorful tapestry from vibrant green to deep emerald, to golden and orange hues as the leaves prepare to fall. The best time to visit is during the late year, when you can enjoy a picnic on soft, dry rubber leaves, as the warm sunlight dances through the trees, creating a picturesque film-like scene with the gentle rustling of leaves. In this area, no matter where you step, you’ll be surrounded by endless expanses of rubber forests, making it synonymous with Binh Phuoc itself.
Rubber trees in Binh Phuoc are planted among both old and new forests, forming a long stretch of land that looks like a giant oil painting with colors ranging from reds, yellows, light greens to dark greens. The Bu Dang Rubber Forest can be described as a perfect masterpiece, ever-changing with the seasons. In the summer, the entire rubber forest is lush with fresh green, turning Binh Phuoc into a living, breathing forest full of cool shade and energy, ideal for a refreshing visit. However, if you are captivated by the golden and red leaves of Hanoi's autumn or the fiery maple leaves of the West, visit Binh Phuoc towards the end of the year and early spring to witness a similarly romantic display. The leaves transform from green to gold, then orange, and finally a vivid red, covering the entire forest and adding excitement to the whole region. If you visit during dawn or dusk, you’ll see sunlight filtering through the trees, creating a peaceful and unforgettable scene, especially when morning dew clings to the tree trunks and leaves, or when the red evening light bathes the forest in a serene glow.


7. Soc Bom Bo
Soc Bom Bo is located in Binh Minh commune, Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province, about 50 kilometers from Dong Xoai town along National Route 14 towards Bu Dang. Soc Bom Bo has its roots in the Vietnam War, when local guerrilla fighters such as Dieu Len and Dieu Sen fought for their homeland. Today, these heroes are revered as village elders, still living in the village. Many people recognize Soc Bom Bo through the famous song 'Tiếng chày trên Sóc Bom Bo' ('The Sound of the Mortar in Soc Bom Bo') by composer Xuan Hong, which celebrates the Xe Tiêng people’s dedication to supporting the soldiers during the war. Soc Bom Bo has a proud history from the years of Vietnam's struggle for independence and remains part of Binh Minh commune in Bu Dang district.
Visiting Soc Bom Bo gives tourists a chance to step into history and experience the unique culture of the S'Tiêng people. The village is renowned for its traditional lifestyle, and many visitors associate it with the “sound of the mortar and the firelight.” Here, guests can learn about the war effort of the S'Tiêng people, who supported the revolution by pounding rice for the soldiers. You can immerse yourself in the lively sounds of rice pounding and the rhythmic beat of gongs, enjoy local wine, taste grilled meats, and listen to village elders recount stories of Soc Bom Bo around a campfire. 8. Suoi Lam Lake
Suoi Lam Lake is located in Thuan Phuc commune, Dong Phu district, Binh Phuoc province. Covering an area of around 100 hectares, with a depth of 4 meters, its calm surface mirrors the sky like a giant glass mirror. The lake is surrounded by towering rubber forests, creating a sea of green. From a distance, the lake resembles the picturesque Xuan Huong Lake in Da Lat. Visitors to Suoi Lam Lake can enjoy a tranquil boat ride, immersing themselves in the sounds of nature – birds chirping, gentle breezes, and the earth's breath. The serene and pristine environment makes it the perfect place for picnics, camping, fishing, and tasting the local specialties of the region. The lake is home to a variety of freshwater fish species like snakehead, carp, catfish, and tilapia.
In the near future, a tourist development project worth 126 billion VND will transform the area, making it an attractive destination for both local and international visitors to Dong Xoai, Binh Phuoc. The surroundings of the lake remain largely untouched and peaceful, making it an ideal spot for outdoor activities like camping, fishing, and relaxation. Additionally, there are several restaurants offering local mountain specialties. Visitors can enjoy boat rides, swim in the lake, or camp along the shores. The area also features exciting recreational activities such as water slides, rowing, and stream bathing.

9. Bu Lach Grassland
Bu Lach Grassland is located in Dong Nai commune, Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province. This expansive area comprises vast green fields of grass, a natural lake, and surrounding pristine forests, forming a picturesque and vibrant landscape. Visitors will find the peaceful atmosphere inviting, perfect for relaxation, sightseeing, and capturing beautiful moments in photographs. This area is made up of nearly 20 different grasslands covering up to 500 hectares. The name 'Bu Lach' comes from a local M'Nong dialect; 'lạch' means 'grassland' in M'Nong, and there is a small water pond within the grassland, hence the name 'Bau Lach,' which was later mispronounced as 'Bu Lach.'
Upon entering the grassland, visitors will be amazed by the endless stretches of lush green grass. The grass here grows only to about 4-5 cm before turning yellow, allowing new green shoots to sprout. The changing hues, from emerald green to vibrant gold, create a constantly shifting landscape. Deeper into the area, a clear, serene pond can be found, with gentle ripples dancing across its surface. The pond’s water comes from underground springs flowing from the surrounding forests, connected by small streams. Over time, the water level remains constant, never drying up. The grassland is bordered by ancient forests, with trees so large they take three people to embrace. Walking along the trails used by the M'Nong people to reach their fields, visitors will feel a cool breeze wash over them. Even on sunny afternoons, the forest offers a refreshing, natural coolness, unlike the artificial chill of air conditioners. If one looks closely, vibrant orchids grow on the towering trees. With its enchanting scenery, Bu Lach Grassland offers an exciting and wild escape for nature lovers seeking the beauty of untouched wilderness.

10. Bu Gia Map National Park
Bu Gia Map National Park is located in Phuoc Long district, Binh Phuoc province. Covering an area of 26,032 hectares, it is the largest forest area in the province. This park not only serves as a sanctuary for rare and endangered species listed in Vietnam's Red Book but also offers an exciting eco-tourism destination, attracting nature enthusiasts eager to explore the wild. The park plays a key role in protecting watershed forests that supply water to hydroelectric reservoirs like Thac Mo and Can Don, contributing to scientific research, environmental education, and eco-tourism development, making it an essential natural treasure for the local economy. Entering Bu Gia Map National Park, visitors are immersed in a world of pristine forests, mostly composed of valuable tree species like rosewood, red ironwood, ebony, and camphor.

The park’s dense tropical evergreen forests, mixed with waterfalls, streams, and lakes, offer visitors a captivating sense of harmony with nature.
