1. Nguyễn Như Thành
Nguyễn Như Thành (born 1989) is the sole representative of Viettel High-tech Industries Corporation (VHT) and the Group included in the list of nominees for the Top 10 Outstanding Young Faces of Vietnam in 2022. Thành is currently the Head of the Secondary Radar Processing Department at VHT.
After joining VHT, Nguyễn Như Thành has continuously contributed, innovated, and created numerous exceptional products and inventions, generating billions of VND annually for the Group and the State. As a result, Nguyễn Như Thành was nominated for the Top 10 Outstanding Young Faces of Vietnam in 2022.
Achievements: Leader of the VRS-MCX radar project, capable of detecting and targeting coastal artillery systems, completed research and applied advanced technology to 3D radar stations, saving 600 million VND per radar station per year; author of 7 core technologies, 3 international scientific papers, 6 domestic patents, 2 initiatives, and 10 ideas at the group level; recipient of the Ho Chi Minh Prize in Science and Technology; Military Excellence Award in 2022.


2. Nguyễn Văn Thiên Vũ
Nguyễn Văn Thiên Vũ, 32 years old, is the CEO of AgriDrone Vietnam Joint Stock Company. A young man from Huế, Vũ founded the company and boldly introduced drone technology to the vast rice fields. Today, AgriDrone's unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have reached far and wide, from the Mekong Delta to the central coastal regions.
Reflecting on his journey into drone technology, Vũ recalls his entrepreneurial path beginning 10 years ago, while he was still a student at the University of Danang. Passionate about technology, Vũ and his team started a research and development project for drones. However, due to various challenges, their first venture failed.
Undeterred, in 2018, Vũ and his team relaunched the project and founded AgriDrone—a company that provides UAV technology tailored for farmers. AgriDrone not only supplies agricultural drones but also helps farmers shift from traditional farming methods to technology-driven practices like spraying pesticides, fertilizing, and sowing rice using UAVs.
Achievements: Managing two companies, with a revenue of 80 billion VND and a profit of 2 billion VND in 2022; widespread application of agricultural drones in over 40 provinces and cities; collaboration with the Central Youth Union to launch the virtual agricultural platform AgriVerse; recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Entrepreneur Award.


3. Lieutenant Lê Hảo
Lieutenant Lê Hảo (born 1994 in Gia Lộc, Trảng Bàng, Tây Ninh) hails from a family with a remarkable revolutionary legacy. His grandfather, Lê Văn Minh, died as a martyr during the 1968 Tet Offensive. A total of 11 relatives from both sides of his family lost their lives in the fight for independence, with both of his great-grandmothers honored as Heroic Mothers of Vietnam.
Lê Hảo's journey into the military was quite unique. While studying at the University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ho Chi Minh City, he realized that his life would have more meaning if he joined the army. He left school and passed the entrance exam for the Political Officer Academy, ranking second in his class.
Lieutenant Lê Hảo is the inventor of the “Three Dynamic Youth Union” model, a revolutionary initiative that has been implemented and recognized in various areas of Military Region 7. His exceptional work has earned him several awards, including commendations from the Minister of Defense, the Central Youth Union, and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. In 2021, he was honored as the “Outstanding Young Citizen of Ho Chi Minh City,” and in 2022, he received the “Promising Young Talent of the Armed Forces” title. Recently, he was nominated as one of the top 20 “Outstanding Young Faces of Vietnam” for 2022.
Achievements: Advised the Political Department to uphold the Youth Union's activities; named “Promising Young Talent of the Armed Forces” in 2021; awarded the title of “Outstanding Young Citizen of Ho Chi Minh City.”


4. Sergeant Thào A Khư
Sergeant Thào A Khư (31 years old, Economic and Drug Crime Unit, Dien Bien Police Department) was raised by a loving and supportive mother. Overcoming numerous hardships, he has achieved outstanding accomplishments.
Thào A Khư is the sixth child of eight in the family of Giàng Thị Lìa (69 years old), living in a H'Mong village in Mường Ngói, Dien Bien province. The fondest memory of his childhood was enjoying a meal of white rice during the Tet holidays, not having to mix it with corn or cassava. He recalls his mother singing lullabies as she rocked him to sleep and his father taking him to school to learn to read. However, when A Khư was in first grade, his father passed away due to cancer, and his mother, instead of singing, carried him and his siblings to the fields. A Khư was granted permission to stay home and attend school. After working in the fields, his mother would bring back bundles of bamboo and rattan. A Khư helped carry the materials, and together, they trekked nearly 30 kilometers to the Mường Ngói Elementary School. There, they borrowed land to build a temporary shelter for the children to study. During his senior year of high school, witnessing the destruction of his peers and community due to drug abuse and poverty, A Khư dreamed of joining the police force. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the People's Police Force and was selected for training at the Armed Police College (T45). His dream as a H'Mong youth was realized. In 2020, A Khư joined the Economic and Drug Crime Unit of the Dien Bien Police Department. His mother’s words, “Make sure to learn from your colleagues and do your job well,” continue to inspire him.
Achievements: Directly advised on the elimination of complex drug hotspots and successfully dismantled large-scale drug trafficking operations. Assisted in capturing and bringing back seven highly dangerous fugitives from Laos. Participated in and solved eight major drug cases, including directly solving three, resulting in the arrest of nine suspects. Awarded the Third-Class Military Merit Medal.


5. Footballer Huỳnh Như
Huỳnh Như (born November 28, 1991) is a Vietnamese female footballer currently playing as a forward for Länk Vilaverdense and the Vietnam women's national football team.
Huỳnh Như began her career with Ho Chi Minh City I club, where she played 84 matches, scored 62 goals, and helped the team win 7 national championships. In August 2022, she made history as the first Vietnamese female footballer to play professionally in Europe when she signed with Portuguese club Länk Vilaverdense.
Huỳnh Như was named one of the 10 outstanding young faces of Vietnam in 2022 by the Central Youth Union. On March 6, Huỳnh Như, 32 years old, from Tra Vinh, was honored in the field of sports. In 2022, she helped her team, Ho Chi Minh City I, win the National Women's Championship and the National Cup.
Achievements: Huỳnh Như has played 84 matches, scored 62 goals, and won 7 national championships with her club. She won the SEA Games 31 gold medal with the Vietnam women's team, secured a spot for Vietnam in the 2023 Women's World Cup, and has been awarded the Vietnam Women's Golden Ball multiple times. She was the top scorer of the National Women's Football Championship in 2013, 2016, 2017, 2021, and 2022, and was named the best player of the National Championship in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. She has also been awarded the Second-Class Labor Medal.


6. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hà
Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hà - Hà Myo, 30 years old, from the Vietnam Opera and Ballet Theatre, is the first to boldly blend Xẩm (a traditional Vietnamese folk music) with rap and modern music (electronic music, EDM). Overcoming numerous challenges, Hà Myo has brought a youthful, energetic, and vibrant spirit to Xẩm, while passionately preserving folk music.
When people think of Hà Myo, they remember her work combining traditional folk tunes with contemporary music. Her groundbreaking track 'Xẩm Chợ Đồng Xuân', a fusion of Xẩm, rap, and EDM, captured attention and made her a fresh voice in the Vietnamese music scene. In 2020, she won the second prize at the 'Giọng hát hay Hà Nội' competition, solidifying her style and determination to bring traditional music to younger audiences.
In the 2020 'Giọng hát hay Hà Nội' competition, Hà Myo took a bold step by combining Xẩm with electronic music and rap, a move no one had attempted before. This innovative idea required a delicate balance of technique, music, and culture, merging contemporary influences with traditional values.
Achievements: Produced several contemporary folk music MVs to help preserve the nation's cultural identity, releasing 4 MVs in 2022. Champion of 'Sàn chiến giọng hát 2022' (VTV3); won the 2022 'Thanh niên sống đẹp' award; recognized as one of the 2021 'Outstanding Young Faces of Vietnam'.


7. Lieutenant Dương Hải Anh
Lieutenant Dương Hải Anh, 27 years old, is the Secretary of the Youth Union of the Sơn La Provincial Police. On April 12, 2022, during the 21st Congress of the Youth Union for the term 2022–2027, Lieutenant Dương Hải Anh was officially elected as the Secretary, becoming the youngest individual to hold this position in Vietnam's history.
Known for her passion and dedication to youth work and volunteerism, Lieutenant Dương Hải Anh made a strong impression even during her time at the People's Police Academy. She achieved remarkable academic success, receiving high praise for her scientific research projects at both academy and ministry levels. She also served as the Deputy Secretary of the D41 Union (2015–2019), where she was known for her creativity and energy. For her exceptional academic and organizational achievements, she was awarded the prestigious 'Excellent Student' certificate by the Ministry of Public Security.
After graduating with honors, Lieutenant Dương Hải Anh began her work at the Traffic Police Department of Mộc Châu District. Despite the challenges of working in a remote area, she committed herself fully to her tasks and responsibilities.
Achievements: Led two community projects: 'Feeding Mộc Châu Children' and 'Happiness for Children,' providing lunch for nearly 4,000 children in Mộc Châu, with a total funding of over 11 billion VND.


8. Ngô Quý Đăng
If you're familiar with the landscape of mathematics in Vietnam, you likely know the name Ngô Quý Đăng (born 2004, a former student of the Hanoi National University of Science High School). His name is well-known for his love of mathematics, which began in his early childhood, and his impressive collection of prestigious awards in the field of mathematics.
Most recently, Đăng made headlines when he won the Gold Medal at the 2022 International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) with a perfect score of 42/42. This achievement marked Vietnam's return to the IMO Gold Medal after almost 20 years, with Đăng also being the first Vietnamese student in grade 10 to win a Gold Medal at the IMO and rank 4th in the world.
Contrary to the common stereotype that great students are calm and composed, Đăng stands out as an exceptionally carefree, spontaneous, and humorous young man.
Achievements: 2 Gold Medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad (2020 and 2022); First place in the non-specialized Informatics Olympic competition; Second-class Labor Order; Named a promising young face of Vietnam in 2020.


9. Võ Hoàng Hải
Võ Hoàng Hải, born in 2006, is currently a student at the Hanoi University of Science, specializing in Natural Sciences. This 17-year-old has already accumulated numerous awards, both national and international.
The year 2022 was a milestone for Hoàng Hải as he clinched the Gold Medal at the International Physics Olympiad. He made history as the first Vietnamese 10th grader to join the national team for the event and also the first to win a Gold Medal at the competition.
In addition to his success at the International Physics Olympiad, Hoàng Hải earned a Bronze Medal at the Asia-Pacific Physics Olympiad in 2022. In the same year, he was honored with the Second-Class Labor Order by the President of Vietnam. Previously, he also won a Bronze Medal at the 2017-2018 International Mathematical Ability Assessment (IMAS 7) and a Silver Medal at the 2019 VANDA International Science Olympiad in Singapore.
Achievements: Gold Medal at the International Physics Olympiad; Bronze Medal at the Asia-Pacific Physics Olympiad 2022; Second-Class Labor Order.


10. Dr. Trương Thanh Tùng
Dr. Trương Thanh Tùng, 34 years old, leads the new drug research team at Phenikaa University in Hanoi. He was among the top 10 young scientists awarded the Golden Globe in 2021 and has also been nominated for the top 20 candidates for the prestigious "Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces" award. This award, presented by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, recognizes young individuals under 35 who have excelled in various fields including academics, scientific research, sports, labor, production, and national defense. Dr. Tùng's success story has roots in his education at Nguyễn Trãi High School, where he was a Chemistry student from 2004 to 2007, earning second place in the provincial Chemistry competition in Hải Dương and third place in the national Chemistry competition in 2007.
Achievements: With 40 international publications, Dr. Tùng’s research includes pioneering new HIV treatments, targeted cancer therapies, and the development of new antibiotic substitutes, which hold promise for creating "Made in Vietnam" pharmaceutical products. He made history as the first young scientist outside the United States to be elected as a full member of the prestigious Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society in 2022. He was named a "Young Face of Vietnam 2021" and awarded the Golden Globe in 2021. Dr. Tùng is also one of 28 prominent young scientists recognized globally.
