1. Get enough sleep
The golden rule for a healthy lifestyle is that you have a good and sufficient sleep. According to experts, getting enough sleep makes your body healthier, improves memory, prevents diseases, stimulates creative thinking, enhances beauty, reduces stress, and promotes tranquility for women. However, not everyone can sleep correctly; experts advise that you should only sleep for 7 - 8 hours per day, sleeping more than 8 hours will increase the risk of death within 11 - 17 years. The most effective time for sleep is from 11 pm the night before to 6 am the next morning.
Having a quality sleep will improve your health better than you imagine. You will feel physically and mentally relaxed and minimize health problems. One of the most obvious benefits if you maintain the habit of sleeping early and waking up early is increased productivity. If you stay up late and have to work early the next morning, you will find it difficult to concentrate and remember. Getting enough and good sleep helps you focus better due to freshness, thereby handling work quickly, conveniently, and efficiently.
In addition, early risers tend to live more positively, optimistically, and are more likely to experience satisfaction in life. Therefore, no matter how busy you are, you should arrange to sleep for 8 hours/day. There is no doubt, good and quality sleep is the key to a healthy life. Not only does it help you recover energy after a long day at work, but it also makes your appearance brighter, and the risk of diseases such as heart disease or obesity is significantly reduced.

2. Balanced Diet
For a long time, Vietnamese people have had the habit of eating according to tradition rather than following a balanced diet. The emergence of fast food high in fats, as well as disease-causing foods on the market, has led to many dangerous health consequences: increased obesity rates, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, etc. To achieve good and healthy well-being, you need to reduce these types of foods and instead adopt a scientifically balanced diet by incorporating fresh foods: meat, fish, various fruits and vegetables, especially dark green ones.
A smart homemaker is someone who knows what they will eat today. Modern life invents many foods that satisfy human 'taste buds' but forgets their health functions. Moreover, their addictive nature makes it difficult for humans to resist. Cigarettes, alcohol, abuse of chemicals, colorants, preservatives,... overload your body in detoxifying these toxins.
Sugar is one of the most destructive foods and additives to human health. Sugars including sucrose and sweet fructose affect the body's metabolism when consumed excessively. You should control the foods you consume, minimize foods high in sugar and salt, prioritize organic products, and choose healthy options for your body. You cannot be healthy if you constantly introduce disease-causing agents into your body. Fresh, unprocessed foods, and organic, natural products will significantly improve your body's health.

3. Physical Activity
Due to the office work routine, sitting for 8 hours on a chair often leads to many people suffering from joint pain, and a sluggish physical condition. To maintain a healthy body, you need to cultivate a daily physical activity habit, from walking to taking stairs or standing up and moving around for 5 minutes after every 2 hours of sitting... Find a sport you love and practice it whenever you have free time. The benefits of exercising not only make you look younger but also improve your mental clarity, stimulate hormone growth, make you feel physically fit, and prevent future illnesses.
It's crucial when you engage in muscle movements. Exercise helps stimulate the brain, improve your appearance. Lifting weights helps reduce blood sugar levels and insulin levels, improve cholesterol, and reduce triglycerides. Regular physical activity also increases testosterone levels and growth hormones, the combination of these two hormones helps improve your health.
Lifting weights or various forms of exercise reduce depression and lower the risk of chronic diseases such as obesity, type II diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer's, and many other diseases. If you want to lose weight, combine physical activity with a healthy diet. Because it not only burns calories but also improves hormone levels and overall body functions.

4. Reading Every Day
In today's age where social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. are prevalent, staying updated with news has become easier than ever, which has also led to a significant decrease in the percentage of people reading books. However, the culture of reading books, besides providing knowledge, has many other significant benefits. Reading extensively helps you improve social communication skills, develop reflexes and sensitivity, and flexibility in behavior. Additionally, reading also enhances your abstract thinking, association, and creativity abilities.
Make it a habit to read books every day to make yourself more knowledgeable and relaxed. That's right. Reading books makes you better. Why? Books provide a treasure trove of knowledge, opening up a new world of ideas from the perspective and thoughts of others. A 2014 study by the University of Toronto found that reading books can positively influence our personality by expanding our perspective.
Reading books also helps build empathy. A deep understanding of issues and complex stories in books can help you better understand colleagues, loved ones, your competitors, and the world around you. If you can easily put yourself in someone else's shoes, you are more likely to perform better and be more considerate in decisions. Of course, you can also proactively broaden your perspective by reading more and understanding deeper books on communication and empathy.

5. Stress Reduction
Stress - is the cause that makes human life worse. When stressed excessively, it will make your spirit collapse, reduce memory, agility, sleep loss, physical exhaustion, cause high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes,... Relaxing the mind, maintaining a positive life, using some massage, yoga, meditation methods will help relieve stress.
Create a habit of resting after each stressful hour of work, short trips on holidays or spending time with family will make your life less stressful and happier. Contribute to a healthier body besides diet, exercise, and quality sleep, dealing with modern stress is very important. Excessive stress can increase cortisol levels and affect metabolism. It increases appetite, stores excess fat in the abdomen.
Try simplifying your life and participating in meditation, breathing exercises, or rearranging your life to manage and balance modern stress. Overcoming stress not only makes you healthier but also helps you improve many aspects of your life.

6. Positive Thinking
Not always everything meets your satisfaction or desires. Today's joy may not last forever, eventually fading away with unexpected events. Or sometimes, feelings of sadness arise, but don't worry, they will eventually pass. We never know how unwanted situations will unfold, positive thinking at the right moment is always the best solution to face challenges, difficult situations.
Positive thinking lies in positive thinking about all issues, other people, and oneself. These thoughts always aim for good things, towards the benefits of oneself and work. Positive thinking is always manifested through actions, words, and a mindset that others see as good things to do. Positive thinking always brings benefits to individuals, thinking lies in individuals, and creating thoughts is also done by individuals. You will control your own abilities as well as your thoughts.
Life is increasingly modern and constantly developing, requiring knowledge as well as life skills to be enhanced. In the process of self-improvement, it is inevitable to face difficulties that seem to push you back, all issues or situations, difficult or easy, complex or simple are from human thoughts. You think it's easy, then the job will be easier to complete. Maintaining a positive mindset is essential in forming a good personality, a good soul to be confident in learning, working, and good opportunities in life. The younger generation - the future owners of the country, must cultivate their own consciousness, cultivate very good morals to avoid being influenced by negative factors in society.

7. Laugh More
'A smile is worth ten doses of medicine', surely everyone knows how a smile affects one's own emotions and those around us. It brings feelings of joy, warmth, innocence, intimacy, attracting everyone towards you. Step out of the house with a smile on your lips, you will feel full of life, the joy of that day, and be sure that nothing can make you discouraged.
Most of the time, we only see smiling as an instinctive, unconscious reaction of the body to interesting and humorous things. This view is not wrong, but it is not entirely correct. We often forget that smiling can also become an intentional action - something we actively, voluntarily do to positively influence life. Many scientific studies confirm that a sincere smile from a person is often seen as attractive, appealing in the eyes of others. Other studies clarify how the act of smiling helps boost the mood of the person smiling and those around them. Some researchers have found a strong link between health, longevity, and smiles.
From any perspective, the important thing that research shows is that simply smiling - whether you smile because you're genuinely happy or just as an action to create movement, facial expressions like a smile, brings short-term and long-term benefits to human health and happiness. You should leverage the power of a smile to connect with others. We often find ourselves naturally attracted to people who smile a lot because the action of smiling is related to physical attractiveness. It's no surprise that serious or negative expressions like frowning, being angry, being uncomfortable have the opposite effect, pushing people away from you. Stress, or tension, not only affects the nerves but also has the ability to 'permeate' into the entire body, clearly evident on the face. A smile not only dispels fatigue, exhaustion outwardly but also helps you relieve stress, reduce stress. So, laugh more, okay?

8. One Life to Live
“The most precious thing in one's life is life itself. A person only lives once. You must live in a way that avoids regrets, remorse for the wasted years, and shame for your past frivolity and cowardice, so that when you close your eyes for the last time, you can say: I have dedicated all my life, all my strength, to the noblest cause in the world, the cause of human liberation...” Have you ever asked yourself: What will I do today? Have you ever lived meaningfully? No one can define this life for you, only you will decide how your life will be. Live to the fullest, dedicate yourself fully, choose your own path and burn with that dream, stand up after failures, learn from your mistakes, live as if there is no tomorrow, don't waste time to look back with no regrets. Live for your dreams. Live the life you want, become the person you've always aspired to be, starting from now.
Be brave in decisions and actions without hesitation. You may make mistakes, stumble and get up again. Even if you fall dozens, even hundreds of times, at least you won't regret not having tried. At least you have lived to the fullest, tried your best to pursue your dreams. In every heart, there is a flame burning, the burning desire that is silent but fervent. Our responsibility is to keep it burning. Each of us only lives once. Life is too short. Don't be foolish to let those who lack faith or discourage you extinguish your flame. Strive to achieve what you want, go to the places you like, act on the gut feeling and face difficulties courageously. Try a little harder every day. Looking back, you will see how far you have come.
In the pursuit of goals, you will encounter setbacks that disappoint you, make you tired, and weary. But do not lose heart, does the road to success ever smooth? Consider failures, sorrows as challenges for patience and courage. In the end, people often regret not having done their best, no one regrets daring to try.”

9. Slow Down Life
Life's hustle and bustle often make people chase after it, day by day blending into the crowd to maintain life. We seem to have lived too hurriedly, overlooking the quiet moments in life, where we can realize many things that are usually unseen. Sometimes, slowing down life to look back at what has passed, what is coming, and even the distant future is what people need most. Give yourself some quiet moments in life to listen to your heart, to cherish the little things, to appreciate this life fully.
Life is a race, and time is gold, is silver. But humans are not machines without feelings; humans have souls created from countless pieces of colors, emotions that connect one after another: Sadness-joy, disappointment-hope, frustration-happiness, contempt-love… Amidst the ups and downs, between moments of sadness without despair or desperation, between moments of joy without indulgence, there are “quiet notes.” Those quiet notes don't turn into words, they give people, especially the young, time to “Slow Down, Think Differently, and Love More.” Even if it's just a second, a minute, it gives us the energy to live a lifetime.
Slowing down is to feel the beauty of life: Spend a little quiet time to admire a beautiful flower, listen to the chirping of birds, immerse yourself in classical music, breathe and look at the blue sky… The human soul is like a piece of land with young shoots, if not watered and nurtured, how can the soil become fertile and the tender shoots grow well. “Slowing down,” “thinking differently,” and “loving more” are three sides of the same coin. Slowing down is essentially the time for people to think, sharpen their senses, and establish positive, creative thinking. Slowing down is also the time when people can relax, love, and cherish those around them. But don't confuse slowing down with the opposite of the “hurried” lifestyle of poet Xuân Diệu. The poet who lives in a hurry lives wholeheartedly, lives to the fullest, lives in the most meaningful way. Therefore, young people must know how to slow down to cultivate maturity and adulthood, as well as live “hurriedly,” flexibly, and wholeheartedly.

10. Love More
Love is the most precious thing since birth; every time you give love to someone, you receive happiness, something that no amount of money can buy. People loving each other will make society better, more beautiful, making every moment of life truly meaningful. Give love, and you will receive happiness. Loving more means knowing how to think, care, and focus on others more. It's as simple as a glance, a smile, an action, and caring words that help parents feel less tired after a hard day's work. It's a gesture of kindness and compassion for those facing difficulties. It's concern and compassion when the “central region’s lullaby” is submerged in water…
Loving more makes people more humane, more generous. Each person sacrifices a selfish ego to live with others in love. When you love more by giving more, you receive more. Living sincerely with those around us, we will receive precious feelings of love, sincerity from friends, colleagues…
Loving more is also living forgivingly, inclusively, knowing how to share and make life beautiful. Loving nature, the environment to not destroy it. Loving the blue sky means loving the peaceful birds. As long as we are alive, we still have the opportunity to experience the happiness of life. Therefore, let's share our kindness and enthusiasm with others. Let's give everything we receive and listen to the call of love, don't think that what we give is small and what we receive is insignificant. A smile given is many smiles received, so why not give love!
