1. Forgetting to Disable Location Services
Having too many apps frequently using location services on your iPhone can drain the battery unnecessarily. To disable location services, go to Settings, select Privacy, then Location Services, and toggle it off. By doing this, you can prevent your iPhone from constantly checking your location and transmitting information to unnecessary apps, which can save battery life.

Your app should always be operational.
Although multitasking can be helpful, removing seldom-used apps from multitasking can preserve iPhone battery life. You can do this by double-clicking the Home button, swiping each app card upwards to exit. Alternatively, use multiple fingers to close several apps simultaneously.

Keep your mailbox active at all times.
Disable automatic app downloads.
On an iPhone, you can enable your apps to update automatically whenever there's a new update available. However, this means your iPhone will constantly need to check for updates, which can drain the battery quickly. To prevent automatic downloads of updates from the App Store or even iTunes Store, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Select iTunes & App Store.
- In the Updates section, toggle the switch to 'Off'.

5. Screen Too Bright
It's evident that an overly bright screen can quickly drain an iPhone's battery. If you want to conserve your iPhone's battery life, start by lowering the screen brightness. It's quite simple to do so: just swipe up on the screen to access the iPhone's Control Center and adjust the brightness slider down a notch.

6. Excessive Notifications
Continuous notifications are a culprit for draining an iPhone's battery quickly. If you don't want unnecessary app notifications consuming battery and causing annoyance, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Select Notification Center.
- Turn off notifications for unnecessary apps.

7. App Refresh
Background App Refresh, or refreshing apps in the background, is a mode that significantly drains the battery. It works to keep apps updated with new information even when not multitasking. To disable this feature, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Select General.
- Choose Background App Refresh.
- Toggle Background App Refresh to 'Off'.

8. Constant Bluetooth Activation
Bluetooth is a feature not overly useful on the iPhone, so you don't need to keep it on all the time. To turn off Bluetooth, simply access the control center and tap on the Bluetooth icon located to the right of the Wi-Fi icon.

9. AirDrop Feature
AirDrop is a feature that allows you to send photos, videos, and multimedia content to nearby iPhones. Depending on the speed of your personal network connection, this feature can work faster than sending via email or MMS because AirDrop doesn't use mobile networks. You can disable AirDrop to reduce energy consumption by accessing the Control Center, tapping on AirDrop, and selecting 'Off'.

10. Too Many Apps
Having too many apps in general also contributes to faster battery drain on the iPhone, so you should periodically 'purge' apps on your iPhone or only install apps when you really need to use them.
