There are various routes and transportation options to reach Bờ Y commune, Ngọc Hồi district, Kon Tum province. If coming from the North, you can take a flight to Buôn Mê Thuột (Đắk Lắk) and then find a bus to Ngọc Hồi. Additionally, there are plenty of buses running from Ho Chi Minh City or provinces along National Highway 1A such as Quảng Bình, Quảng Ngãi... to Kon Tum. After visiting the Bờ Y international border gate, follow the winding road for over 10 kilometers, passing through several hills and climbing steps to reach a milestone made of granite atop a mountain peak at an elevation of 1,086 meters above sea level, marking the border of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
