Established in 1783, MINES ParisTech (École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Paris, Ile-de-France. Eligibility for the Syngenta Scholarship for Emerging National Leaders:

3. Smarts Up Scholarship Program
The Smarts Up Scholarship Program at the University of Paris Cité aims to promote internationalization of Master's programs and facilitate the admission of talented international students to build an excellent pool for recruiting future doctoral researchers. Postgraduate training at the University of Paris covers various academic and research fields, including engineering, medicine and natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Master's and doctoral training programs combined with research-based and interdisciplinary teaching here will enable students to complete research projects and develop in all socio-economic sectors.
The Smarts Up Scholarship Program will sponsor scholarships of €8,000 each for the academic year 2023-2024 to allow postgraduate schools to participate in this project and welcome international students into their Master's programs. The scholarship will be transferred to a bank account set up in France after the student has registered validly for one of the eligible courses and has signed a commitment form. The scholarship is awarded for one year. The Smarts Up Scholarship is for international students who have not studied in the French higher education system (French citizens are not eligible). The scholarship cannot be cumulated with another French scholarship. The scholarship is awarded for one year and cannot be deferred.
To apply for the Smarts Up Scholarship Program, students must:
- Be newcomers to the French higher education system (except international students preparing for a joint degree with the University of Paris who are eligible)
- Candidates for Master 1 must hold a foreign degree equivalent to a French bachelor's degree

10. IMDEA Le Mans University Scholarship

The IMDEA Scholarship program is granted annually by the EMV Foundation (under the auspices of the Institut de France) and by partners of the “Université le Mans” in Le Mans, France. Recipients of financial support are needed to pursue studies under the IMDEA program at Le Mans University. Every academic year, 4 scholarships are awarded (2 scholarships at Master 1 and 2 scholarships at Master 2) by the IMDEA selection board. Generally, to apply for the scholarship, you must be admitted to the university offering this scholarship.
Applicants will need to follow the 3-step application process of the IMDEA scholarship program:
