1. Foody
Built since mid-2012 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Foody is a trusted community where everyone can search, rate, and comment on dining places: restaurants, eateries, cafes, bars, karaoke, bakeries, tourist destinations... in Vietnam - from the website or mobile app. Connecting members from North to South, Foody links diners to dining places nationwide, with hundreds of thousands of locations and comments, images in Vietnam, in most provinces and cities. Foody is the easiest way for you to find and choose the best places for yourself and your friends.
Foody owns an intelligent search tool by typing: place name, or address, or street name, or dish name, or purpose, or area name. The search system uses suggestions & quick view information, helping you find places quickly. Foody categorizes places in detail: by purpose, type, food, price, cuisine type... This helps the community filter places according to their purposes very quickly. Foody allows members to insert images into comments, rate places with 5 criteria: Food, Location, Space, Price, and Service, which helps the community have an overview of the criteria of each place. Due to the different nature of each place, for example, Cafes, the community will be interested in the Space, for Restaurants, the community is interested in the quality of the dish... This is the difference of Foody compared to other service methods.
After more than 4 years of operation, Foody increasingly demonstrates its position as it is growing not only domestically but also gradually expanding to the international market. Not stopping there, Foody has successfully called for funding 4 times, notably the successful call for funding from the Tiger Global Investment fund of the United States in 2015. This shows the significant success of a website established in Vietnam.
