She rose to prominence in youth tournaments with the Vietnam National Bank women's volleyball team under coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt. Before joining Than Quảng Ninh in 2021, she contributed to the success of the National Bank team. In 2020, she was named the best attacking player at the National Youth Volleyball Championship and helped her team win the U23 National Championship. In 2021, amidst changes at the National Bank team, she transferred to Than Quảng Ninh, marking a turning point in her career. Under coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt, she persevered through challenges and made her debut at the 2021 Hoa Lư-Bình Điền Volleyball Cup. Despite the team’s adjustments, she helped Than Quảng Ninh secure a Top 4 finish, earning a spot on the national team for the SEA Games 31.
2. Trần Tú Linh
Trần Tú Linh is a renowned volleyball player from Vietnam. She is an essential member of the Vietnam National Women’s Volleyball Team and the Đức Giang Hanoi Chemical Volleyball Club. Linh plays as an outside hitter, a key position that requires exceptional skill, agility, and quick decision-making. 3. Đinh Thị Trà Giang
Đinh Thị Trà Giang is an exceptional volleyball player for the Vietnam National Women's Volleyball Team. Born on May 9, 1992, in Lạng Sơn, Vietnam, she is the only child of her family, with a father who is a teacher and a mother who is a homemaker. She inherited her height from her father, who stands at 1.83 meters tall. At the age of 12, Trà Giang had already reached an impressive height of 1.69 meters. One day, her cousin suggested she try volleyball at the Gia Lâm sports hall in Hanoi, where the Hanoi Sports Department was recruiting for its youth team. Despite not knowing much about the sport, Trà Giang decided to give it a shot, with the full support of her family. Within a few months of training, she moved to Hanoi to focus on improving her volleyball skills. Her height grew rapidly, reaching 1.78 meters, which is excellent for a volleyball player. In 2007, the VietsovPetro volleyball team was established, gathering some of Vietnam’s top volleyball stars. Trà Giang saw great potential with the club and joined them. During her time with VietsovPetro, she showed impressive talent at the National Championships, but it was in 2009 that she truly began to shine, earning a spot on the national team. Throughout her career, Trà Giang has received numerous individual accolades. In 2009, she was awarded the Best Blocker at the Đắk Lắk Television Cup. In 2011, she won the Most Promising Young Player at the Lienvietpostbank Cup. At the 2012 VTV Cup, she was considered a strong contender for the tournament’s ‘Miss Volleyball’ title, though the award ultimately went to a player from Japan. Trà Giang has been a vital part of the success and growth of women’s volleyball in Vietnam and remains one of the brightest talents in the sport.


4. Bùi Thị Ngà
Bùi Thị Ngà is an outstanding female volleyball player from Vietnam, born in 1994 in Khánh Cường, Yên Khánh, Ninh Bình. She currently serves as the captain of the LienVietPostBank Information Volleyball Club and plays as an outside hitter, a key attacking force for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
She is renowned as one of the tallest female volleyball players in Southeast Asia and is considered the rightful successor to volleyball legends like Phạm Thị Kim Huệ and Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hoa, who retired from the sport. Her career has been marked by significant progress and invaluable contributions to the national team. Bùi Thị Ngà's volleyball journey began at a young age. Born into a farming family in Ninh Bình, a region where men’s volleyball was more popular, she didn’t have many opportunities to pursue the sport. However, at the age of 14, when she had already reached a height of 1.72 meters, her English teacher recognized her potential and encouraged her to take up volleyball. After attending a tryout, she quickly joined the Information Volleyball Club in Hanoi, where she demonstrated exceptional talent. Within just three years of training, Ngà made remarkable improvements in both technical skills and performance. Her dedication and contributions have made her one of the top outside hitters for the Vietnamese women’s volleyball team.
With her talent and commitment to the sport, Bùi Thị Ngà has earned a high reputation in Vietnam’s volleyball community and has become an inspiration for many young athletes passionate about sports. 5. Phạm Thị Thu Trang
Phạm Thị Thu Trang is an outstanding Vietnamese female volleyball player who plays as an outside hitter. At the young age of 19, she made her debut for the Vietnamese women's national team at the 2007 VTV Cup, quickly capturing the attention of fans and generating excitement at the Phan Đình Phùng Stadium. The Vietnamese team clinched the championship, and Thu Trang’s appearance marked a pivotal moment for women's volleyball in Vietnam, unveiling a promising outside hitter. Since then, the national team has had high hopes for success at the SEA Games.
Thu Trang has earned several remarkable achievements throughout her career, including winning the VTV Cup in 2007 and 2010 with the Vietnamese national team, and securing a silver medal at the 2007 SEA Games. Born on October 5, 1988, in Hanoi, standing 1.73 meters tall and wearing the number 6 jersey, Thu Trang became a crucial member of the Information LienVietPostBank team (Vietnam’s Ministry of Information). Her contributions and passion for volleyball have made her one of the most beloved and respected players in Vietnamese volleyball history. 6. Lê Thanh Thúy
Lê Thanh Thúy is a distinguished volleyball player for Vietnam's national women's team. Born on May 23, 1995, in Hai Phong, she stands at an impressive 1.80 meters, enabling her to reach a jump height of 3 meters. Her agility and quick movements make her a formidable opponent, excelling in both setter and opposite hitter roles.
Her volleyball journey has been full of challenges. Initially playing for Hanoi's volleyball team, she later moved to Bảo Long Hà Tây. After the team dissolved, she returned to Hanoi, where she trained under coach Nguyễn Thu Hương. In 2012, she switched to Vietsov Petro, and following its closure in 2014, Thanh Thúy joined the Ngân hàng Công thương (VCB) team, where she continues to play today.
Despite her remarkable performances, Lê Thanh Thúy has achieved relatively modest accolades. She earned a silver medal at the 2015 SEA Games with Vietnam’s national team and was awarded the “Miss Volleyball” title at the 2014 VTV Bình Điền Cup and VTV Cup. With her unwavering dedication and exceptional skill, Lê Thanh Thúy has cemented herself as one of Vietnam's top outside hitters and has become a recognized name in the national volleyball community.


7. Hà Ngọc Diễm
Hà Ngọc Diễm is one of Vietnam's most powerful and skilled outside hitters in volleyball today. Born on December 22, 1994, in Vĩnh Long, she stands at an impressive 1.77 meters with an incredible jump reach of 3.10 meters, holding the national record for vertical leap.
Starting at just 12 years old, Hà Ngọc Diễm joined the Vĩnh Long volleyball team, a modest training ground with experienced coaches who mentored her for four years. From the beginning, Diễm showcased superior potential with her height, fitness, and especially her explosive jumping ability and powerful spikes. By the age of 17, she became one of the country’s top young outside hitters and was called up to the national team for the 27th SEA Games. Though she did not play regularly, each time she was trusted by the coach, she delivered outstanding performances on the court. With her high energy, smart play, and consistent contributions, Diễm has become an essential player in the national team, especially in the VTV Cup tournaments. In early 2017, Hà Ngọc Diễm transferred to the new club, Thông tin Liên Việt Postbank, under coach Phạm Văn Long's guidance. She is expected to continue shining and work on improving her game, further advancing her volleyball career.

8. Đinh Thị Thúy
Đinh Thị Thúy is one of Vietnam's top volleyball athletes, playing as an outside hitter for both the national team and her club. Born on April 16, 1998, in Hà Nam, she stands at an impressive 1.75 meters tall.
In 2014, Đinh Thị Thúy was called up to the national team and competed in the Asian Volleyball Cup held in Shenzhen, China. Since then, she has consistently played as an outside hitter, contributing significantly to the success of both the national team and her club. Despite her young age, Đinh Thị Thúy has already proven her skills with her smart movement, creative play, and especially her powerful spikes. Her achievements are commendable. In 2016, she was named the Most Outstanding Player of the National Championship and the Most Promising Young Player at the National Junior Volleyball Championship. That same year, she also earned two more individual awards: Best Outside Hitter and Most Promising Young Player at the VTV Bình Điền Cup.

9. Trần Thị Thanh Thúy
Trần Thị Thanh Thúy is a highly skilled volleyball player from Vietnam, born on November 12, 1997. She has been a member of the Vietnam Women’s National Volleyball Team since 2014 and has served as the team's captain since 2019. Thanh Thúy is renowned for her exceptional ability as an outside hitter, known for powerful spikes from beyond the 3-meter line.
Her talent and progress were evident when she joined the VTV Bình Điền Long An club in 2012. Promoted to the first team, she quickly gained recognition for her attacking jump serves and powerful spikes from the outside hitter position. She also showcased impressive agility by moving into position 3 to deliver decisive attacks. Thanks to her remarkable achievements, Thanh Thúy was selected by Coach Thái Thanh Tùng to represent Vietnam at the 2014 VTV Cup International Volleyball Tournament. Standing at an impressive 1.93 meters, she played a vital role in the team’s success in several matches. In 2015, Thanh Thúy had the opportunity to compete with Bangkok Glass VC in Thailand during the second round of the national championships, where her contribution helped the team defend their national title.

10. Phạm Thị Kim Huệ
Phạm Thị Kim Huệ is a renowned female volleyball player from Vietnam, born on August 3, 1982, in Hanoi. Growing up in a poor family, she faced numerous hardships and worked various jobs, including paper folding and napkin making, to help support her family.
Despite the tough circumstances, Kim Huệ remained diligent in her studies and earned accolades for her academic performance. In 1995, while still a student at An Dương School, she discovered her passion for volleyball. Just four years later, at the age of 16, she made an incredible breakthrough, securing a spot in both the Bộ Tư Lệnh Thông Tin club and the national team. Over the course of her career, she competed in six consecutive SEA Games and participated in the National Championships 17 times. Kim Huệ won the prestigious "Miss Volleyball" title three times, in 1993, 1998, and 2004. Along with her teammates, she earned six silver medals at the SEA Games and a fourth-place finish at the 2012 Asian Cup.
With her exceptional talent and dedication, Kim Huệ was appointed as the captain of the Vietnam Women's National Volleyball Team at just 19 years old. She was widely regarded as the best outside hitter in Southeast Asia from 2002 to 2007. After a two-year injury hiatus, Kim Huệ made a remarkable return in 2009, achieving great success with the Bộ Tư Lệnh Thông Tin club. In 2012, she joined the Ngân Hàng Công Thương team, continuing to shine with her 1.80-meter height and dynamic play at the outside hitter position. Kim Huệ remains one of Vietnam's most celebrated volleyball players, continuing to make an impact in her career today.


11. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hoa
Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hoa is one of Vietnam's top female volleyball players, recognized for her impressive achievements throughout her career. She is regarded as one of the finest outside hitters in Vietnam’s volleyball history. Born on November 10, 1987, in Long An, with a height of 1.83 meters, Ngọc Hoa is known for wearing the number 9 jersey in matches. She currently plays for VTV Bình Điền Long An and Bangkok Glass.
Ngọc Hoa made an unprecedented record by competing in seven SEA Games, surpassing her senior Kim Huệ, who participated six times. Over her 12-year career with the national team, she has earned dozens of personal accolades in both domestic and international competitions. Among her many honors, she has been named the Best Blocker eight times, Best Player seven times, and Best Outside Hitter four times. Ngọc Hoa is also the only Vietnamese athlete to achieve success at the continental level while playing for an overseas club. She received recognition as the Best Outside Hitter in an Asian competition.
In addition to her individual accolades, Ngọc Hoa has played a key role in helping her club, VTV Bình Điền Long An, win two national championships and three second-place finishes. She also achieved two national championships in Thailand and one Asian Club Championship title with the Bangkok Glass team. In 2014, she led Ayutthaya A.T.C.C. to victory in the Thai Super Cup.
