8. Dubai Miracle Garden, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Dubai Miracle Garden was officially inaugurated in 2013, precisely on Valentine's Day, February 14th. The name Dubai Miracle signifies the miraculous feat of growing various flowers right on the dry and arid desert land. Since its opening, it has attracted up to 1.5 million visitors annually.
Today, this miraculous garden remains among the top tourist destinations, both domestically and internationally. Previously, Dubai Miracle Garden was nothing but a vast desert region with extremely harsh weather conditions. With a unique and creative idea, the Dubai government constructed a water irrigation system to plant over 65 million flowers, covering an area of 72,000 square meters. Over 60 different types of flowers are cultivated here, such as petunias, lilies, and daisies.
These flowers are meticulously maintained using a wastewater recycling system through drip irrigation, employing materials like pipes and polymers to retain and distribute water.
