Initially known as Lan Nha Pagoda or also called Ong Ngo Pagoda by locals, it was founded by Zen Master Vien Ngo in 1808. Over the years, the Ton Thanh Pagoda has undergone many changes, and the once grand structure with "magnificent beams and pillars, golden and radiant" no longer remains. Today, the pagoda consists of several architectural elements including the front hall, main hall, lecture hall, and two side halls with tiled roofs and brick walls. However, it still retains its ancient charm with its four-symbol pillar system in the main hall, statues of Buddha from the early 19th century, and calligraphy plaques painted in gold. To the right of the pagoda are two commemorative steles erected in 1973 and 1997 to honor poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu. A visit to Ton Thanh Pagoda, a historic site of the former Gia Dinh region, allows visitors to pay respects at the stupa of Zen Master Vien Ngo and to remember poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu, who once lived here and created his literary masterpieces. Long An Park and Monument was established in 2013. The underground floor of the park features an air-conditioned space with a sound and lighting system, divided into distinct areas. The display area is divided into 8 thematic zones, each within a glass case of about 4 m2, arranged along narrow walkways inside the venue. The entire display area is pitch dark. This setup ensures that visitors focus on each theme one at a time, rather than wandering aimlessly like in many other exhibitions. What stands out in each theme are the vivid recreations of characters, objects, plants, rivers, and villages.

8. Bình Thành Historical Site
CallBình Thành is a historically significant area located in Duc Hue district, Long An province. Here, the provincial leadership directed revolutionary activities in Long An until ultimate victory. Many historical traces and landmarks remain around Bình Thành, reflecting the region's role in both wars and the activities of the Long An Party Committee and its military forces. In 1998, the Ministry of Culture and Information recognized Bình Thành Base as a National Historic Site.

11. The House of a Hundred Columns
The House of a Hundred Columns, located in Can Duoc District, is a national historical monument and a significant tourist attraction in Long An Province. This house was constructed by Tran Van Hoa starting in 1901 and completed three years later. Despite its name, the house features 120 columns, with 68 round and 52 square columns. The front of the house faces northwest, and it is entirely built with precious wood.
The architectural style follows the traditional ‘Ruong’ framework of Hue, where the central beams are replaced by paired columns connected horizontally, secured by a crossbeam. This design not only makes the structure stable but also provides a spacious interior without central columns obstructing the space. The intricate wood carvings throughout the house highlight the high level of craftsmanship of the artisans who created them.
The entire structure, including the rafters and beams, is adorned with detailed carvings that showcase a variety of themes such as “dragon patterns,” “four seasons,” and “vines” typical of Hue. The most exquisite carvings can be found in the inner and outer chambers, with classic motifs like the “four sacred animals,” “four seasons,” and “eight fruits.” These designs also reflect symbols of prosperity, longevity, and happiness, alongside Western influences like roses and grapevines, as well as regional motifs like custard apple and mangosteen. The artisans' mastery is evident in how these themes are skillfully executed on panels, partitions, altars, and furniture.
