12. The Military Arts Training School under the General Department of Politics - Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam
On September 23, 1955, the Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army made the decision to establish specialized training classes in military arts, laying the foundation for the formation and development of the Military Arts School, now known as the University of Culture and Arts of the People's Army, which has now been operating for over half a century. Under the direction and support of the General Department of Politics - Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, the University has excelled in its mission of cultivating morally and professionally skilled personnel who serve both within and outside the military. These individuals, who are soldiers and artists, contribute to the nation's ideological and cultural frontlines with both dedication and vision.
The University of Culture and Arts of the People's Army has the mission of training and fostering staff, performers, and personnel working in various fields of culture, literature, arts, journalism, and archival work; conducting scientific research in cultural and artistic education to support the educational system and ideological work within the Vietnam People's Army; training ethnic minority artists from remote regions; as well as providing cultural and artistic education to military personnel in Laos and Cambodia. The University also plays an active role in performing arts for both the military and the general public.
