Singer Uyên Linh, born Trần Nguyễn Uyên Linh on December 31, 1987, in Hưng Hà, Thai Binh, is a popular Vietnamese singer. She gained fame by winning the third season of Vietnam Idol in 2010 and has since received four nominations for the prestigious Cống hiến Award.
Uyên Linh attended Lê Hồng Phong High School in Ho Chi Minh City. Despite her success, her most notable achievement during university was winning a special prize at the 'Giọng hát vàng – Soul of Melody 2008' competition, representing the Foreign Trade University, where she performed songs like 'Dệt tầm gai' and 'A woman’s worth.'

5. People’s Artist Doãn Tần
People's Artist Doãn Tần, born Phan Doãn Tần on December 9, 1947, in Hồng Lý, Vũ Thư District, Thai Binh, is an iconic figure in revolutionary music. Known for his deep, resonant voice, he is a celebrated National Artist who has contributed numerous classic revolutionary songs such as 'Cùng anh tiến quân trên đường dài' and 'Dáng đứng Việt Nam.' He currently teaches at the University of Culture and Arts of the Military.
Doãn Tần primarily performed songs dedicated to soldiers, and his recordings are still available in the archives of the Voice of Vietnam. His first solo album, 'Đường chúng ta đi,' was released in 2005. Previously, he was a Colonel and the leader of the Military Light Music and Dance Troupe, and he still performs when invited. He also taught at the Military Arts School.
Sadly, he passed away on March 17, 2019, at the Central Military Hospital 108 in Hanoi at the age of 72.


6. Miss Ocean Nguyễn Thị Loan
Nguyễn Thị Loan, born on July 24, 1990, in Bạch Bằng, Hồng Bạch, Đông Hưng District, Thai Binh, Vietnam, is a model, actress, and beauty queen. She won the title of Miss Ocean at the Miss Vietnam 2010 pageant and finished in the Top 5. From a young age, Nguyễn Thị Loan helped her parents with farming work. During her years on the frontlines, she used the pseudonym Thanh Hong. Currently, she serves as the Director of the Vietnam Song and Dance Theatre. Thu Hiền is celebrated for her smooth, heartfelt voice and is best known for her contributions to revolutionary music, folk songs, and ballads. In 1993, she was honored with the title of People's Artist by the Vietnamese government. Some of her most famous songs include 'Câu Hò Bên Bờ Hiền Lương', 'Quảng Bình Quê Ta Ơi', and 'Tình Thắm Duyên Quê', alongside numerous other albums.
Having loved music and the arts from a young age, Thu Hiền began her career in music at the age of 10. She grew up during the years of war, and her voice resonated across the northern and central regions, even in the midst of intense battlefields. Known as the 'Princess Ly Nha Ky,' she is a prominent businesswoman, actress, and social activist, celebrated not only in Vietnam but also internationally, with many foreign media outlets praising her talent and beauty.
Despite her wealth and influence, Ly Nha Ky continues to act and has made a lasting impact on the public through her charitable work. She has served as the Smile Ambassador for Vietnam with Operation Smile, funded the construction of numerous charity houses, provided scholarships for disadvantaged top students, and led eye surgeries for impoverished children. From a young age, Thanh Thao dreamed of performing on stage. Her early career saw strong support from composer Duc Tri. However, it wasn't until she performed the song 'Oi Tinh Yeu' that her popularity soared. Following that success, she continued to rise with songs like 'O.K Minh Chia Tay', 'O.K Na Ka', 'Run to You', and 'Thien Than Bong Dem'. In 2002, Thanh Thao released the album 'Bup Be Xinh Dep' with the title track composed by Phuong Uyen.
