1. Noo Phuoc Thinh
Following four female singers My Tam, Thu Minh, Ho Quynh Huong, and Dong Nhi, Noo Phuoc Thinh became the first male singer from Vietnam to receive this award. With his achievements in 2016, the Best Asian Artist Award at MAMA 2016 for Noo Phuoc Thinh is truly deserved. Starting from early 2016, Noo won the championship title of The Remix season 2. After that, he continuously released many high-quality music products that were well-received by the audience.
Noo Phuoc Thinh is one of the six artists honored in the Outstanding Asian Artist category at MAMA 2016. Sharing his feelings after receiving the award through a video clip, the handsome singer was touched: “I am truly happy and honored to receive the Best Asian Artist Award at MAMA 2016. This is a great honor for me. Thank you to the organizers and everyone who has supported me throughout. Thank you so much to the fans. This victory is a motivation for me to strive even harder in the future”.

2. K-ICM and Jack
Following the success of a series of music videos including Red Lips, Waves and Wind, What's Up, Jack and K-ICM have become incredibly popular in the Vietnamese music scene. Recently, the duo once again asserted their position by winning the Best New Asian Artist Vietnam award at the MAMA 2019 awards ceremony. The Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA 2019) took place at the Nagoya Dome, Japan. This annual event has become one of the most anticipated award shows in Asia, attracting millions of viewers worldwide.
An unexpected moment at MAMA 2019 for Vietnamese fans and the fan community of K-ICM and Jack in particular was the surprising appearance of the duo during the award presentation for Best New Asian Artist Vietnam. Despite not being able to attend the event in Japan to receive the award in person due to work commitments in Europe, K-ICM and Jack managed to capture the joyful moment of receiving the MAMA trophy as well as expressing their gratitude to the audience.

3. Tóc Tiên
Singer Tóc Tiên was honored with the award for 'Best Asian Artist Vietnam' at the premier of MAMA 2017 (Mnet Asia Music Award 2017), held on the evening of November 25th at Hoa Binh Theater (Ho Chi Minh City). This performance event was part of the MAMA 2017 awards week, taking place simultaneously in 3 locations: Vietnam, Japan, and Hong Kong.
The MAMA awards are organized to honor artists who contribute to the development of Asian music. Upon receiving this award, singer Tóc Tiên expressed her surprise and happiness. Tóc Tiên is the youngest female singer to ever receive this prestigious award. She has also been recognized by industry professionals in numerous prestigious music awards in Vietnam such as Làn Sóng Xanh, Zing Music Awards, HTV Awards, and more.

4. Hương Tràm
Hương Tràm is the next Vietnamese artist after Orange to win the MAMA 2018 award. She is considered a deserving figure in both music achievement and talent. The singer of Em gái mưa expressed her happiness when winning the Korean music award for the first time. She shared: 'Until now, I still can't believe it's true. When holding the MAMA trophy in my hand, I suddenly remembered what I had been through, the months living with passion and now reaping the rewards, being recognized'.
Hương Tràm had a successful 2018, so the award given to her is considered well-deserved. After Em gái mưa, the most beloved hit at the end of 2017, Hương Tràm released 2 more ballad songs, Duyên mình lỡ and Gửi anh và cô ấy. Although they couldn't surpass the success of Em gái mưa, both songs achieved very promising results on the charts.

5. Hoàng Thùy Linh
Recently, Hoàng Thùy Linh released a 10-year anniversary album titled Hoàng. The product has been well received by the audience, among which, the MV Tứ phủ (Four Palaces) impresses with both melody and imagery. The MV portrays a grand and sacred space in the real world of an indigenous culture deeply rooted in Vietnamese tradition.
In the middle of 2019, the MV Để Mị nói cho mà nghe (Let Me Tell You) by the female singer also stirred up social media with its intriguing music, blending lively electronic beats with the cultural essence of the Northwest region. The MV also recreates familiar scenes from many other famous literary works, such as Vợ nhặt (The Wife Picker), Chí Phèo, Lão Hạc, Tắt đèn (Turn Off the Lights).
On December 4, 2019 (local time), the Korean music award ceremony Mnet Asian Music Awards 2019 (MAMA 2019) took place at Nagoya Dome, Japan. Among the various award categories, there is an award for the 'Best Asian Artist' of each country. For Vietnam, Hoàng Thùy Linh is the winner of this award.

6. Sơn Tùng M-TP
At the age of 24, Sơn Tùng M-TP is honored to be one of the most famous names in the Vietnamese entertainment industry. With innate musical talent, not only Vietnamese Sky fans, but the name of this handsome singer is also loved and admired by fans worldwide. Gradually, Sơn Tùng M-TP has become a frequent presence on various music and art stages, both large and small, beyond the country's borders.
In 2017, Sơn Tùng received the award for 'Best Male Artist in Vietnam' announced by the organizers of the Big Apple Music Awards 2016. This was the first time Sơn Tùng M-TP was honored on an international music stage. With hit songs and a unique style, along with a large fan base, Sơn Tùng has secured a place in the Vietnamese entertainment industry and in the hearts of fans.

7. Orange
In 2018, Vietnam had one representative invited to attend the MAMA award ceremony, and that was Orange. The newcomer's voice of Vpop is the owner of the super hit Người Lạ Ơi that caused a stir earlier this year. The singer born in 1996 participated in all three main parts of the award ceremony on the evening of December 10th: the red carpet, performance, and acceptance of awards. Her name was called in the category of Best Asia New Artist – the most outstanding new Vietnamese artist in Asia.
It can be said that after many years struggling with singing, Người Lạ Ơi has brought new hope to Orange, not only gaining fame domestically but also starting to flourish with international awards. With the Best New Asian Artist award at MAMA 2018, Orange is the youngest singer to receive an award at this prestigious event in Korea after Mỹ Tâm, Đông Nhi, Sơn Tùng M-TP, Tóc Tiên,… Less than 6 months later, Orange continues to bring new pride to Vietnam at the Hong Kong Asian – Pop Music Festival with the Super New Asian Star 2019 award.

8. Đông Nhi
Currently, Đông Nhi is a name appearing frequently in the media as she successfully organized her first stadium live show during her singing career. Đông Nhi is also the fourth artist honored at the MAMA evaluation award ceremony. In 2015, Đông Nhi received the award for 'Best Asian artist Vietnam' at MAMA. A young artist has asserted her position in both domestic and Asian music scenes.
In the video broadcast at the MAMA 2015 awards ceremony, the Vietnamese representative said in Vietnamese: 'Hello MAMA audience, I'm Đông Nhi, a singer from Vietnam. Today I am very happy and honored to receive the Best Asian artists Vietnam award - MAMA 2015. With this award, I will surely try harder to not disappoint all of you and my fans.'
Sharing about the award, Đông Nhi said: 'I was very surprised and happy to receive the announcement from the organizers about the award. Before me, three older sisters whom I admire a lot, Mỹ Tâm, Thu Minh, Hồ Quỳnh Hương, have been honored, and unexpectedly, I am the next to receive this honor. This is a very unexpected joy in December as I prepare to release the most special music product in my singing career so far - the MV Boom Boom. I want to share this award with my family, friends, team, and especially my audience.'

9. Đàm Vĩnh Hưng
In 2015, Đàm Vĩnh Hưng was named in the category of 'Outstanding Asian Artist' by the organizers of the Asian awards. Mr.Đàm - a name that has touched countless hearts with his unique hoarse voice. He has a massive fan base, which somewhat proves his charisma with the public.
Unable to attend the award ceremony in Korea, singer Đàm Vĩnh Hưng sent a video clip and his speech to the award show. According to Mr. Lee Sun Ki, the representative of the organizing committee, the Asia Superstar award was given to Đàm Vĩnh Hưng for the votes of the Vietnamese community living and working in Korea and his contributions to nearly 20 years of singing career. In addition to Đàm Vĩnh Hưng, this award was also given to 4 Korean stars: Kim Soo Huyn, Kim Woo Bin, Jun Ji Huyn, and Kim Tae Hee.

10. Thu Minh
At the Mnet Asian Music Awards 2013 (MAMA) held at the Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena on the evening of November 22, 2013, singer Thu Minh was announced as the recipient of the Best Asian Artist Award.
Immediately upon the announcement of this award, Thu Minh was touring with her Western husband in Russia and could not be present to accept the award in person. However, through a recorded video sent to MAMA 2013, the Curve singer couldn't hide her happiness and expressed gratitude to the audience and the program for always believing in and supporting her.

11. Hồ Quỳnh Hương
Hồ Quỳnh Hương was also named at the MAMA awards in South Korea with the 'Best Asian Artist' award in 2014. A familiar name to the domestic audience with a soulful voice. The talented singer has demonstrated her talent.
Hồ Quỳnh Hương has won music awards such as: Gold Medal at the National Professional Art Festival, Dedication Award, Mai Vang Award, Green Wave Award… She also frequently participates in international music programs such as: Asia Pop Music Festival in South Korea, Asian Night Program celebrating the Beijing Olympics in China… Currently, she is also a judge for some domestic music programs.

12. Mỹ Tâm
Mỹ Tâm is a name not unfamiliar to any music lover. The 'Brown-haired Nightingale' is known for her powerful and distinctive voice, and it's no surprise that Mỹ Tâm has received international recognition. In 2012, Mỹ Tâm was awarded the 'Best Asian Artist' at the annual MAMA awards hosted by South Korea.
Unable to attend the event due to filming commitments for Vietnam Idol 2012, Mỹ Tâm sent a video message to the awards ceremony. In it, the 'Brown-haired Nightingale' said: 'This is a great honor and a significant spiritual gift for Mỹ Tâm in 2012. Tâm is delighted and hopes that someday soon, the MAMA awards can be held in Vietnam, and Mỹ Tâm as well as all other artists can perform in the show to bring musical greetings to audiences worldwide'.
