1. Model, actress Tang Thanh Ha
Tang Thanh Ha, also known as Ha Tang, was born on October 24, 1986. She is a Vietnamese film actress and model of Chinese descent. At the age of 16, she was invited by director Luu Trong Ninh to play the role of Trang in the movie 'Dốc Tình' (Downhill Love). Although this role was not very prominent, Thanh Ha gained attention from the artistic community. After 'Dốc Tình,' she was invited to play the role of Mộng Cầm in the movie 'Hàn Mặc Tử' and this role was considered a success. Later, she continued to play in 'Hương Phù Sa' (The Scent of Rice Flower) as Út Nhỏ (Little Ut) and in various other commercials. With certain successes in her career, she was awarded the Most Favorite Actress of HTV in 2006; then suddenly she went to Singapore to study Hotel Management at a College when she was becoming famous in both television and stage.
Tang Thanh Ha is widely known for her role as Trúc in the movie 'Bỗng Dưng Muốn Khóc' (Suddenly Wanting to Cry) in 2008. She is dubbed the Film Pearl of Vietnam. Despite being famous as a model-actress, Tang Thanh Ha is one of the Vietnamese celebrities who focuses on studying and speaks English quite naturally and fluently. At the age of 20, she studied Hotel Management in Singapore. At the age of 26, she continued to study Commerce at RMIT University. She became well-known for her English speaking ability through a clip of her hosting an environmental event a few years ago, which surprised and thrilled fans immensely. 2. Beauty Queen Ngô Phương Lan
Ngô Phương Lan was born on March 12, 1987, and became the first Vietnamese Miss World in 2007. Ngô Phương Lan made history as the first woman to win the Miss World Vietnam crown, sponsored by Tiền Phong newspaper, Thanh Niên newspaper, VTV, and VinPearland resort, receiving a prize worth $20,000. English has been Miss World Ngô Phương Lan's fluent language since childhood as she lived and studied in the United States with her family. Her father was once the Vietnamese Ambassador to Switzerland. With this advantage, excelling in foreign languages as a beauty queen was understandable. When asked about the secret to mastering foreign languages, she shared, 'The most important factor in learning any language is the learner's determination.'
In 1993, while in first grade in Hanoi, Ngô Phương Lan moved with her family to the United States because her father, Ngô Quang Xuân, served as the Vietnamese Ambassador to the United Nations. Ngô Phương Lan was awarded a commendation by U.S. President Bill Clinton for her academic achievements at New York Elementary School. At the beginning of 2000, she returned to Hanoi to study at the United Nations International School. Nguyễn Khoa Tóc Tiên was born on May 13, 1989, better known by her stage name Tóc Tiên, is a Vietnamese female singer. Tiên had the honor of winning the 2019 Dedication Award for the 'Song of the Year' category with the song 'Does Anyone Love Me Like You Do.' She was once a singer for Thúy Nga Entertainment and frequently performed in the Paris By Night programs of the entertainment center. Born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Tóc Tiên began her singing career in her teenage years. In 2013, Tóc Tiên changed her image with a seductive and charismatic short hairstyle. 4. Runner-up Dương Trương Thiên Lý
Dương Trương Thiên Lý was born on June 10, 1989, and was the 2nd runner-up in the Miss Universe Vietnam 2008 pageant. She was selected to represent Vietnam at the Miss World 2008 pageant in Johannesburg, South Africa. She was chosen as a replacement because the winner of Miss Vietnam 2008, Trần Thị Thùy Dung, was not allowed to compete due to not completing high school, and the two runners-up were also not permitted to participate. After winning the 2nd runner-up title in the Miss Universe Vietnam 2008 pageant, Dương Trương Thiên Lý was sent to represent Vietnam at the Miss World pageant in the same year. She was praised as the most fluent English speaker ever through a self-introduction video, delivering her message smoothly, naturally, and with good pronunciation.
Since elementary school, Dương Trương Thiên Lý has attended a Vietnamese-French bilingual school. In 9 years of studying in Vietnam, she was an excellent student for 9 years, except for the 10th grade when she only achieved a satisfactory level due to participating in a reform program. After completing the 11th grade, she went to the United States to study abroad and was the only Vietnamese student living on campus at Athenian High School, Northern California. She majored in Communication at Saint Mary's University, USA. 5. Miss Mai Phương Thúy
Mai Phương Thúy was born on August 6, 1988, is a Vietnamese beauty queen, entrepreneur, and model. She was crowned Miss Vietnam 2006 in August 2006 in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa. Immediately after, she was sent to compete in Miss World. She passed the entrance exam to the Foreign Trade University with a score of 24.5 and received full scholarships from RMIT University three times. With her language skills, Mai Phuong Thuy is often invited to international events and serves as a brand ambassador, representing brands of multinational companies.

6. Actress, model Ngô Thanh Vân
Ngô Thanh Vân, also known as NTV, NTV Virus, Sister Ba. She was born on February 26, 1979, also known by her English name Veronica Ngo, is a Vietnamese film director, producer, actress, singer, dancer, model, and creative director. She rose to prominence with her role as Thuy in the film The Rebel (2007), instantly becoming associated with the image of a female warrior. She continued to appear in two major domestic action projects, Clash (2009) and Once Upon a Time in Vietnam (2013). Ngô Thanh Vân began her film production career with the film project Tam Cam: The Untold Story (2016), in which she also had a role. Supermodel Hà Anh, whose full name is Vu Nguyen Ha Anh, was born on April 10, 1982. She is a supermodel, TV presenter, fashion director, singer, and fashion show judge from Vietnam. She was in the Top 10 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2008 and achieved the title of 2nd runner-up in Miss Vietnam Global Beauty Queen 2008. Hà Anh is one of the few Vietnamese models who have been active in the international fashion scene from an early stage. She was the main judge of the first season of Vietnam's Next Top Model and one of three judges of the reality TV show The Next Gentleman's first season.
Hà Anh is one of the rare intellectual supermodels in the Vietnamese fashion industry. She studied English at the Amsterdam High School in Hanoi and received an 80% scholarship from Groomsgrove School in the UK and the University of Reading's Business Management Department. He embarked on his career as an MC after winning the third prize in the Television Host Contest in 2006. The Chinese-origin MC and comedian are well-known for his fluent Mandarin, evident in his interactions with Ngô Trác Hy and Dương Di when they visited Vietnam. MC Tran Thanh also ranks among the top Vietnamese celebrities with excellent English speaking skills, displaying a natural tone and fluent delivery, not inferior to his Mandarin.
Tran Thanh clinched the third prize in the Television Host Contest in 2006. He demonstrates flexibility and humor in hosting various programs such as Let's Speak Vietnamese (for foreigners learning Vietnamese), Art Rainbow, Dance Challenge, Gala Laughter 2011, or Quang Le's Liveshow: Singing on the Homeland. 10. Singer Hồ Ngọc Hà
Hồ Ngọc Hà or Hà Hồ, born on November 25, 1984, is a female singer, actress, model, and judge of Vietnamese programs. Hà Hồ began her modeling career at the age of 15 with an impressive height of 1m72 and won numerous awards. She transitioned to singing by releasing her debut album 24 Hours 7 Days in 2004. The album earned her the opportunity to participate in the Asia Song Festival in South Korea. After becoming the ambassador of Sunsilk, she and the brand collaborated to produce albums and conduct promotional tours in various locations.
Hồ Ngọc Hà is famous not only for her elegant beauty, expressive voice, and flexible demeanor but also for her fluent foreign language skills. In 2013, a clip of Hồ Ngọc Hà speaking English fluently on Chinese television's Asian Music Star program impressed and delighted many viewers. Vũ Thị Hoàng My born on November 13, 1988, was the 1st runner-up of the Miss Vietnam 2010 pageant. She was a student of multimedia design at RMIT Vietnam University, awarded a scholarship for a one-year acting course and a scholarship for a Bachelor of Arts in Film at the New York Film Academy. She was one of the seven main judges of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 and Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 pageants. Having studied at RMIT, Hoàng My is also one of the beauties with excellent English proficiency. Her self-introduction clip at Miss World left a deep impression on the audience. In 2013, Hoàng My confidently interacted with two actors from the blockbuster film '47 Ronin.' Hoàng My also interviewed the star-studded cast of 'The Avengers.'
Hoàng My was licensed to represent Vietnam at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant, held in São Paulo, Brazil. She is one of the best-selling V-pop artists of all time, with sales of over 2 million recordings nationwide, and is dubbed the 'Queen of Vietnamese R&B' as well as the 'Spring Music Queen.' Mỹ Linh is famous for her powerful and technically proficient vocal performances across various music genres. In 2014, she was nominated for three categories at the World Music Awards: 'Best Female Artist,' 'Best Live Performer,' and 'Entertainer of the Year.' Mỹ Linh is also the recipient of 4 Dedication Awards.
Her success pioneered the trend of producing music products through computers in Vietnam. Not only a pioneer in R&B music, Mỹ Linh also paved the way for building a professional working style in Vietnam with her own music team, where each album is uniformly executed from concept to arrangement, orchestration, and imagery. She is recognized by the media as one of the Diva Quartet of light music. Mỹ Linh's English-speaking clip on CNN's program sparked controversy about her English-speaking abilities.
