1. The Adorable Flipper
In my bookshelf, there's a special compartment reserved for toys that I've cherished since childhood. Each toy holds precious memories for me. However, my favorite remains the pair of flippers that my mother gifted me on my 6th birthday.
Back then, I was too young to question why my mother gave me two flippers. Later, she explained that I resembled a flipper—round, cute, always jumping around, falling, and getting back up on my own. My two flippers are a matching pair, with similar colors but different sizes. My mother said one represents her, and the other represents me.
My mother's flipper is taller than mine by a head. In fact, the shape of the flipper resembles the number 8, with the top loop smaller than the bottom one. Both flippers are sky blue, soothing to the eyes. Their faces feature two large, round, sparkling eyes that seem to gaze affectionately at me.
Their cherry-red lips look adorable. Flippers rarely stay still because they have no legs. When stationary, they wobble from side to side to maintain balance. Even if I accidentally knock them over, they can stand back up on their own. That's the unique characteristic of flippers.
During sad times, I often bring out my two flippers to play with. I enjoy watching them stand back up on their own after being toppled over. In those moments, all my sadness dissipates because I have these two close friends by my side. I place them on the top shelf of my bookcase so I can admire them while studying for inspiration. Sometimes, I even hug them to sleep, feeling completely content.
I cherish these two flippers dearly. I will keep them as a nostalgic gift from my mother throughout my childhood.

2. Lisa Doll
On my 9th birthday, I received many toys as gifts. There were stuffed animals, puzzles, watches, and more. But among them, my favorite was the Barbie doll that my dad gave me.
I named her Lisa - a name that sounds very western and charming. Lisa has shiny golden curly hair, cherry red lips forming a cute smile. Her skin is fair and pink, made of hard plastic. She has a round chubby face, rosy cheeks, always blushing like a newly bloomed peach.
Her big round blue eyes, with long curly eyelashes, and a small cute nose make her look beautiful, like the fairies in fairy tales or modern-day beauty queens. Lisa wears a glamorous red ball gown, sparkling with multicolored sequins. All my friends admire her as a stunning and glamorous doll.
Under her feet are a pair of red high-heeled shoes adorned with sparkling rhinestones. Lisa is the most beautiful doll among all my dolls. Lisa is a confidante whenever I'm happy or sad because looking at Lisa makes me feel more excited. I often play with dolls whenever I have free time and invite friends to play to have more fun.
I dedicate a lot of my affection to this adorable doll, so I always take care of and play with the doll carefully so that the gift from my dad always looks new.

3. Dreamy Teddy Bear
Hey guys, our childhood memories are often associated with familiar toys like dolls, teddy bears, rocking horses, and more. Each person has their own preferences when it comes to toys. For me, my favorite toy is that teddy bear over there.
That time, Dad came back from a business trip and brought me a gift in a sealed box. I was very excited, not knowing what it was. When I opened the box, I cheered with joy: 'Oh, such an adorable teddy bear!' It was a plush bear that I had been dreaming of for so long. He had smooth and silky white fur, so soft and cool to the touch.
Our bear wore a bright red shirt with shiny sequins scattered all over it. His head was round like a grapefruit, with his ears also round and sticking up, looking really cute! His black button eyes were big and round like lychee seeds. His chubby body fit perfectly in my arms, so I often hugged him when going to sleep. During those times, his chubby little legs would dangle as if asking me to cuddle him.
His small and rosy red mouth looked really adorable. Around his neck was a red bow tied in the shape of a butterfly, looking lovely. Every night after finishing homework, I would spend time playing with the teddy bear. I named him Daddy. Whenever I hugged him and smelled Daddy's smooth cheeks, he seemed very pleased.
Now that I'm grown up and have many other toys, Daddy is still my closest companion. I always take care of this friend carefully because it's a gift from Dad: someone who always wants his child to be happy and comfortable.

4. Dad's Gifted Car
I have a plethora of adorable and whimsical toys. Among them, the toy I adore the most is the car my dad gifted me last Children's Day.
My car is crafted from plastic. It's as large as my dad's hand. Its green coat looks visually stunning and complements my car perfectly. Despite being a toy car, it's made to resemble a real car closely. The car has four plastic wheels. Its doors are made of transparent plastic. Peering through the doors, you can see the interior covered in glossy black faux leather.
At the front of the car are two orange headlights that can illuminate. This beloved car is designed to run on both batteries and wind-up. Each time I insert batteries and switch it on, the car can run. The front headlights shine brightly, looking very captivating. When the batteries run out, I wind up the car using the key at the back, but the speed of the car when using the wind-up method is slightly slower.
I often play with this car outside the house with Dad and my younger brother. Every time the car lights up and runs fast, my three-year-old brother jumps up cheering excitedly. Sometimes my younger brother also tries to snatch this toy from me, but I always willingly share with him.
Curious by nature, there was one time I dismantled the car to see inside, but I couldn't put it back together as before. When Dad came home, I didn't dare to tell him for fear of being scolded. But surprisingly, Dad didn't scold me at all; instead, he patiently showed me how to reassemble the car. That's truly a memorable moment.
I really love this toy car. It not only gives me moments of relaxation after stressful study hours but also provides me with wonderful childhood memories. I will take good care of this toy car to make it even more durable and beautiful.

5. Battle Robot Toy
My birthday is on June 1st. It's also International Children's Day. This year, I received an incredibly exciting gift: a battle robot.
The robot was sent by my aunt, traveling nearly five hundred miles, from the white sand Central region, through the postal route, and arriving just in time for my birthday. The robot wears armor, standing at eighty centimeters tall, made entirely of good quality hard plastic with two shades of blue and silver-gray. Its head is as big as an orange, wearing a mango-shaped mask. The robot's arms and legs are muscular and strong.
Each of the robot's hands holds a machine gun. The robot wears a silver-gray uniform with a golden star badge. Its feet wear very sturdy and firm soles. The robot operates on batteries, with a control button at the back. When I press the start button, the robot advances forward, raising both arms with the machine guns. From the barrels of the machine guns, lights flash like red and green electric sparks, with a sparkling yellow light at the star in the middle of the chest.
Each step of the robot is rhythmic with the sound of 'sè sè chiu chiu' from the machine guns. Behind the silver mask, the robot's eyes shine with blue flashing lights, very beautiful. The robot moves forward in a straight line, unable to change direction on its own. This makes me a little sad, but mom says a robot that can change direction is very expensive, and my aunt loves me very much to send me such a big, cool warrior robot.
I don't play with the robot often. Every time I have friends over, I bring it out to play or use the robot to distract my little brother so he won't bother mom. After each play session like that, I carefully place the robot in the glass cabinet, to display it nicely and keep the robot new for a long time.
I'm very happy to have this giant warrior robot. It cheers me up after long hours of tiring study and also helps me play with my little brother while mom works. Watching the robot protect me, my little brother looks at me with round, attentive eyes, so adorable. I'll send a thank-you letter to my aunt for the gift. I'll take good care of the robot, saving it for my little brother to play with.

6. Smart Running Doll Powered by Battery
My mom says that even when I was tiny, I showed a liking for toys that play music. Once, on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, during a business trip to Ho Chi Minh City, my dad bought me a plastic doll equipped with electronic and battery-powered parts, a toy I've loved the most ever since.
It's the cutest doll ever, it can walk, crawl, and turn its head, unlike any dolls my friends have. Look! It's sitting right in front of me, its head turning back to me as if saying: 'Let me crawl, sis!' And each time it crawls, it emits a melodious music and flashes lights on its chest, twinkling along with its crawling rhythm.
When I don't allow it to crawl, but make it walk, it looks even cuter. Just flicking the switch at the back, preset with an electric switch, the music plays again, the doll's head turns, looking left and right, its eyes blinking continuously, so adorable. Its legs take steps like a toddler learning to walk.
It's dressed in a lavish costume. The hat on its head is fully covered, with only a light pink face exposed and peeking out are the short curly blond hair styled along the rim of the hat. Its emerald green eyes are adorned with long curved eyelashes, always moving around, very playful. That's why every night after dinner, my friends gather at my house to watch the doll perform.
I'm very proud of the doll. That's why I always save a portion of the money my mom gives me for breakfast to buy batteries for the doll's 'playful' games. At night, when I go to bed, I often leave it at the head of the bed and never forget to cover it with a 'warm blanket' that I 'made' for the doll. There, my 'magical' doll is, so cute and lovely!

7. Puzzle Building Toy Set
One day before my birthday, my grandparents bought me a puzzle building toy set. This is a toy I've been longing for a long time.
The toy box is very large, square-shaped, about seventy centimeters tall. I have to use both hands to hold it. The outside of the box is painted with a bright red tile-roofed house surrounded by a garden full of flowers and fruit trees. How beautiful the new house is! The whitewashed walls, with cute blue window frames overlooking the garden, make me imagine how cool and comfortable it would be to live in that house surrounded by fruit trees.
Inside the box are many plastic blocks of various colors and shapes. There are red, green, purple, yellow... There are squares, circles, rectangles, triangles, and many other shapes that I can't describe. Each block has its own beauty, shiny and reflective like a mirror. Inside the box, there is also an instruction book for building puzzles and a small lightning machine.
The first model I chose to build was a villa surrounded by a garden with rose beds right in front of the house. Between the two rows of flowers is a small pathway paved with white gravel, and I built a fish pond with a miniature mountain rising from the water, looking majestic. I wish if my house had a pond like this, I would release some goldfish into it for them to swim happily.
I also built many trees around the house to create more shade. My masterpiece is complete, and I stood admiring it for hours without getting bored. I wonder if I'm also talented! I dream of becoming an architect in the future; I will build a beautiful house like this to give to my parents.
With the puzzle set, I built many shapes. Sometimes I rely on the catalog, sometimes I come up with my own models to build. I built a flock of ducklings following their mother to the garden to find food. The spotted dog lies on the doorstep guarding the house. The three cats playfully chase mice...
Since I had the puzzle set, I felt more skilled, and my math skills also improved significantly. I love and enjoy this puzzle set very much. Every time I finish a “work,” I am praised by everyone. Although I am now grown up, I still like this puzzle set because it is a gift from my grandparents, whom I love and respect the most.

8. Enchanted World Puzzle Set
Last Sunday morning, my parents took me to Nguyen Hue bookstore. At the toy section, I was captivated by a world full of excitement for children. Dozens of kids like me were engrossed in coloring, reading comics, fairy tales... On the way back, my dad bought me a beautiful jigsaw puzzle set. I was overjoyed and loved it immensely.
It was a puzzle set depicting the castle from the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty. It consisted of hundreds of pieces in various shapes and colors: squares, rectangles, triangles, circles, ovals, trapezoids... The challenge was to carefully observe and fit them together perfectly. Since this game required time, I usually played it on Sunday mornings when my mind was the most relaxed.
Following the model, I patiently assembled each piece. Sometimes it took several attempts to get it right, but I didn't give up, I just kept going until it was correct. To add more excitement, I often invited six-year-old Hương to play with me. We competed to see who could assemble it faster, and I always won. After a few minutes, the puzzle was completed. The towering castle with its sharp red turrets stood out against the light blue background of the forest.
I felt satisfied after my creative process and admired the artwork with the prince and princess in their magnificent attire, hand in hand, faces full of happiness. A magical fairy world unfolded before my eyes, incredibly captivating!
This toy, along with the game, not only enhances the player's observation and judgment skills but also develops agility and quick thinking. Moreover, it teaches us the virtues of perseverance and endurance, essential qualities for achieving success. Above all, the game brings me pure joy and innocence in my childhood.

9. Toy Airplane
I have various toys, all gifts from my parents and loved ones on birthdays. Among them, my favorite is still the toy airplane.
My toy airplane is a model of a helicopter. Compared to a real helicopter, this toy airplane is much smaller. The airplane is predominantly white and red. It has three propellers on top, allowing it to fly straight up.
On the front, there are black windows, and inside is a pilot model sitting. The tail of the airplane is red. At the end of the tail, there are also two small propellers. The underside of the airplane has landing gear to help it stand firmly on the ground or land easily.
My airplane is a remote-controlled toy. Just insert batteries into the remote control, and I can make the airplane fly all around the room. Sometimes, I even fly it outside. Watching the propellers spin in the sky, I wonder how someone could create such an amazing product.
Attached to the airplane, I dream of sitting on a real airplane and flying freely in the blue sky. I treasure this toy very much and will take good care of it so that I always have a childhood companion.

10. Remote-Controlled Car Gift from Dad
I was so happy and overjoyed when my dad bought me a remote-controlled car as a birthday present.
Holding the gift in my hands, I felt indescribable joy. The car my dad bought for me is painted in a really eye-catching red color and looks very beautiful. My toy car is about 20cm long and 15cm wide, looking really cool. It's made of hard plastic, making the car even more sturdy. What's more, I also noticed that the car has a mirror made of glass, which looks really cool. The doors of my toy car can be opened just like real cars, which made me extremely excited. This car has really beautiful wheels, they look like black cookies, very sturdy looking. Operating this car is very easy, I just need to insert batteries and control it up and down according to the arrow on the remote control, and it will go as I want. If I want the car to turn left, I press the left button, turn right, then press the right button, and it's really fun that this car can even reverse.
After every tiring hour of study, I play comfortably with this remote-controlled car. I will take good care of and clean this car carefully.

11. Teddy Bear: My Precious Treasure
I'm not as lucky as my friends who get lots of new and beautiful toys from their parents; I only have a teddy bear named Black Bear. However, I adore him, I cherish him like my own treasure.
Black Bear wasn't originally mine; he used to belong to my cousin, she gave it to me because she saw that I didn't have any toys. I named him Black Bear because he has blackish-gray fur, which makes him look like a real bear in the forest. He's quite big and long, just one head shorter than me, and his chubby belly makes my arms tired when I hug him.
My favorite part is his round head. It's round like a ball with big, black eyes. My Black Bear never closes his eyes because he always watches over me to protect me. His slightly curved nose makes his face look adorable. My bear has two tiny ears like mouse holes, very cute.
Black Bear loves to sit, I make him sit on the chair, he stretches out his round arms to hug me, his legs are also round and bigger than mine. Black Bear has been living with me for almost 2 years, although he's not new anymore, I always keep this friend of mine clean. I put on a nice old shirt that I used to wear to keep him warm on rainy days.
Every time I come home from school, my favorite thing is to hug him to my chest, he's soft like my mom's arms and warm like when my mom hugs me. Every night when I study, Black Bear stays up with me, he sits next to me, when I go to bed, he sleeps with me. My mom won't have any more babies, so I treat the teddy bear like my little sibling. At noon, I usually put him on the hammock and pretend to sing lullabies to make him sleep.
Now I'm no longer sad and no longer ask my mom to buy me toys because I have Black Bear. Black Bear is not just a toy that I love; he's also my good friend. I thank my cousin for giving me this meaningful gift.

12. Playful Toy Robot
On my tenth birthday, I received a fantastic toy robot from my dad.
This robot looks as cute as a little boy. It's about as tall as both my hands, made of a shiny light blue hard plastic.
Its head, like a square box, is placed on the body without any visible neck, giving it a mischievous look! It has two antennas sticking out like the letter C. Its big ears resemble two halves of an orange pushed against the sides of the head by two large round screws. The body is like an upright rectangular box with prominent decorative lines, resembling a robot wearing iron armor. At the back, there's a small hollow compartment for two batteries, close to the black plastic switch knob. Its two hands and two legs are also made of small square boxes connected to each other and attached to the body by large screws. Thanks to this, its arms and legs can rotate in various directions easily.
I turn the switch knob on, and immediately, the robot starts working. From its belly, buzzing sounds come out while its two legs begin to stride. The steps are firm, and its arms wave along with the pace. The funniest part is its head, constantly turning right and left as if searching for enemies. While walking, if it bumps into a table leg or a corner, it automatically avoids it and changes direction. The buzzing sound and the robot's steps make the cockroaches in the corner of the room panic and run away.
I really enjoy playing with this robot; I see it as a lively and smart little friend.
