Tân Long Eco-tourism Area is renowned nationwide for the presence of thousands of bird species such as storks, egrets, and herons. This place is dubbed the conservation area for storks due to its extremely favorable natural conditions for the life and development of various fauna, especially birds, including storks.
Currently, the stork garden covers an area of about 2 hectares, created over 30 years by Mr. Huỳnh Văn Mười. Here, you can freely stroll along cemented pathways, shaded by two rows of beautiful flowers. To have a panoramic view of the entire garden, you need to climb a nearly 10m tall tower. Witnessing flocks of white storks nesting throughout the garden, especially in the early morning and evening, will leave an unforgettable impression on anyone who sees it.

2. Nga Nam Floating Market
Nga Nam Floating Market is not just an age-old market but also the liveliest in the Mekong Delta region. The market starts its bustling activities in the early morning with hundreds of boats docked closely together.
The market is most crowded and vibrant on weekends, holidays, and festivals. During these times, all trading activities, including the sale of rice, food, vegetables, fruits, etc., take place on the lively boats. Nga Nam Floating Market serves as a central trading hub. Here, you'll have a fantastic experience immersing yourself in the unique buying and selling activities of the local residents.
Nga Nam Floating Market usually begins quite early and lasts until 8 am. The peak time is usually from 5 am to 6 am, with hundreds of boats gathering, creating a bustling atmosphere along the riverbank. This is the ideal time to experience the floating market. Around the Lunar New Year, Nga Nam Floating Market gathers almost all day long, making the atmosphere even more bustling.

3. Doi Pagoda
Doi Pagoda , also known as Ma Toc Pagoda, is the unique cultural space dedicated to the worship of Buddha Shakyamuni in the Khmer ethnic community of the Mekong Delta province of Sóc Trăng. It is renowned nationwide for the image of millions of bats of various species inhabiting the area. The architecture of Doi Pagoda is deeply rooted and reflects the unique and distinctive design of the Khmer people. Established approximately 400 years ago and having gone through 19 generations of monks, the place attracts tourists with the grandeur of giant ancient trees and lush green canopies, creating an extraordinary residence for various types of bats.
Visitors to Doi Pagoda will marvel at the lush greenery of the ancient trees with sprawling branches, providing refreshing shade. This is the habitat of large bats of various species. The most eye-catching sight is the beauty of bats hanging gracefully on the trees, creating a remarkably captivating and lively scene.

4. Khmer Museum
Khmer Museum is a prominent structure in Sóc Trăng, featuring architecture deeply influenced by Khmer temple style. Established in 1938, the museum is well-known for exhibiting numerous valuable artifacts, reflecting the material and spiritual cultural life of the Khmer people across generations, including costumes, residential architecture, temples, musical instruments, and more.
Visitors to this age-old museum not only gain insights into the vital ethnic community of Soc Trang but also have the opportunity to admire Khmer cultural artifacts from the Mekong Delta region. Sóc Trăng Museum possesses two notable features: the distinctive architecture reminiscent of Khmer temples such as Som Rong Pagoda, Sa Lon Pagoda, and an extensive collection of cultural artifacts of this ethnic group. In terms of architecture, the museum buildings predominantly feature pointed and curved roofs. The space is divided into two main areas: the artifact exhibition area (known as Masacum communal house) and the office area. The cultural space spans 2,344m2, with the artifact exhibition house covering 368m2, making it a standout feature of the provincial museum.

5. My Phuoc Islet
My Phuoc Islet has long been renowned for its variety of sweet and flavorful fruits, echoing its reputation far and wide. It captivates tourists from diverse places, standing as a key tourist destination in Soc Trang Province. With an area of approximately 1,020 hectares, the islet takes on an elliptical shape, narrowing at both ends and expanding in the middle, with a width of over 500 meters. Encircling it are sturdy embankments, and the roads are paved with concrete, facilitating easy motorbike travel.
Especially in recent times, the locals on My Phuoc Islet have ventured into beekeeping for honey. The orchards of fresh fruit trees have become ideal tourist spots, creating a tranquil resort space against the backdrop of the picturesque and poetic rivers and canals, captivating the hearts of visitors.
My Phuoc Islet is a tourist destination open for exploration year-round. However, the peak time for visitors is during the Dragon Boat Festival. 6. Mud Pagoda
Mud Pagoda, also known as Buu Son Tu, covers an area of nearly 400m². The name of the pagoda is partly due to many Buddha statues here being made of mud. Even the pagoda columns are made of mud. Particularly unique here are 8 lamp posts, weighing a total of 1.4 tons, attracting many people to admire.
Surrounding Mud Pagoda, there are numerous mud statues of animals, with the most prominent and exquisite being the pair of golden lions raising their heads in front of the altar, holding precious pearls in their mouths, with one paw on a globe, appearing majestic and grandiose. Other statues include Thanh Su, White Tiger, Dragon Horse, some gentle and some fiercely magnificent.
The main hall of the pagoda leaves tourists astonished at a unique architectural work by the artist Ngo Kim Tong, with over 1,000 Buddha statues, big and small, all crafted from mud. All the statues are meticulously painted with lacquer and gloss. The communal three-gabled house community includes Buddha, Confucius, and Lao Tzu, with 24 support pillars all covered in mud. You might not know that Mud Pagoda is a self-worshiping place, so there is no resident monk, and they do not accept merit money.

7. Cup-shaped Pagoda
Cup-shaped Pagoda, also known as Sa Lon Pagoda, continues to attract tourists from both inside and outside the country with its uniquely crafted architecture by the talented and meticulous hands of Khmer artisans. The interior architecture of the pagoda will leave you even more amazed. The entire ceiling, walls, and decorative items such as vases, dragon patterns, main columns, etc., are meticulously carved from multicolored ceramics. Particularly unique are the walls and pictures behind the main hall, decorated and shaped with broken cup and saucer pieces.
The first impression upon entering Cup-shaped Pagoda is the three-gate entrance with three towers carved with patterns and vibrant colors in the traditional style of Angkor, Cambodia. In the middle tower, inside, there is a glass box adorned with an imposing seated Buddha statue. Around the pagoda is a decorated wall featuring Apsara celestial nymphs dancing, symbolizing peace and prosperity. On both sides of the entrance are two stone lion statues facing the street as protectors of the pagoda. Above the gate is the Khmer script and the Latin script: 'Sa Lon Pagoda (Cup-shaped Pagoda).' This is not only the oldest ancient pottery pagoda but also a harmonious cultural combination among the three ethnic groups - Kinh, Hoa, and Khmer - in this sentimental land.

9. Stone Pagoda
Stone Pagoda, Vinh Hung Pagoda or Chua Cay Diep is a renowned North Zen Buddhist pagoda, spanning about 6,800m2. The unique architecture of the pagoda is entirely built with stones, showcasing a harmonious blend of Japanese and Vietnamese architectural styles. The interior is adorned with numerous green trees, enhancing the close connection with nature and the environment.
The overall architecture of Stone Pagoda includes: three entrance gates, main hall, ancestral temple, tower, rockery... Through the three gates is the Vinh Hung Pagoda inscribed in Han script. The pagoda grounds are decorated with many green trees and ornamental flowers, adding natural beauty to the pagoda. In front of the main hall, there are two finely crafted white stone lion statues welcoming visitors. Beyond the steps is the front hall, a place to welcome guests, with guardians on both sides. Behind the pagoda is the Buddhist tower with a 5-tier structure, symbolizing the five elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and void, with a precious tower on top. The pagoda is always a spiritual destination for Buddhist followers from both within and outside the province, who come to visit and offer incense for all-round well-being.

10. La Han Pagoda
La Han Pagoda stands out as one of the distinctive temples representing the Chinese community in Soc Trang province. The grandiosity and splendor of this temple will give you the impression of stepping into a palace from ancient Chinese period dramas. From fortress-like walls, roofs, entrance gates, windows, to decorative patterns, you will quickly recognize the characteristic architecture of the Chinese people. La Han Pagoda boasts a beautifully extensive garden with lotus ponds, water lakes, and picturesque landscapes for you to freely capture in photos.
La Han Pagoda possesses a visually pleasing harmonious architectural style amidst an immensely spacious environment. Looking at it comprehensively, the overall temple is constructed in two separate tiers with four interconnected roof systems, and each corner of the roof is adorned with decorative patterns in the traditional artistic style of the Chinese people. The upper floor of La Han Pagoda venerates the Buddha Shakyamuni, Eighteen Arhats, Heavenly Old Man, along with various Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
The meticulously carved and carefully arranged Buddha statues here reflect the solemnity of the meditation and contemplation space. The lower area of the temple venerates Thien Hau Holy Mother, White Tiger Deity, On Thanh Deity, along with various Fairy Maidens and Deities, all exuding a dignified and sacred beauty that anyone who contemplates can feel.

Kh'Leang Temple sits within a spacious area along the scenic Như Nguyệt River, surrounded by lush greenery. As one of the oldest temples in Soc Trang province, spanning nearly 500 years of history, Kh’Leang Temple exhibits architectural similarities to other Theravada Buddhist temples in Thailand and Cambodia. The structures, from the entrance to the main hall, are adorned with intricate carvings and patterns, showcasing a harmonious and refined aesthetic.
The architectural ensemble of Kh'Leang Temple includes the main hall, meditation hall, monk quarters, assembly hall, and more, all thoughtfully arranged on elevated ground. Notably, many of these structures within Kh’Leang Temple are built in the traditional stilt-house style of the ancient Khmer people, each intricately carved with elaborate motifs, preserving the ancient architecture of the Khmer people.
The temple boasts a spacious courtyard, shaded by ancient trees, with the thốt nốt tree being the most prominent, symbolizing the life and culture of the Khmer people.
