1. Remember the One Who Plants the Tree When You Eat the Fruit
Remember the one who plants the tree when you eat the fruit,
And recall the source when you drink water…
Since our childhood, when we carried books to school, we were taught these values by our teachers. These early lessons in ethics have shaped who we are today.
As Vietnamese people, we can never forget the tradition of respecting teachers, a value passed down by our ancestors for generations. Without teachers, we would not have become what we are today… Teachers have given wings to our dreams, equipped us with the knowledge to face life, and guided us on the path to success in education.
But how many of us return to visit the school and the teachers who dedicated themselves to shaping us into who we are today? Every year, on November 20th, we celebrate Teachers' Day, a time to express our gratitude to the second parents who nurtured us into who we are now.
For those of us living far from home, it may not be easy to give our teachers a bouquet of flowers on this day, but we can offer them spiritual gifts in the form of poetry, literature, or even a small token of appreciation. Let’s take this opportunity to share poems and writings about teachers with our loved ones, expressing our heartfelt gratitude and reminding ourselves to remember the one who plants the tree when we eat the fruit.

2. Vietnamese Teachers' Day
Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th is a special occasion to honor our teachers – the ones who have opened the doors to the future for countless students, nurturing the growth of Vietnam's beloved nation! The words 'teacher' are sacred, resonating deeply within every soul with affection. As Dostoevsky once said, 'Under the brilliant rays of the sun, there is no profession more noble than teaching.' Indeed, teaching is the most honorable profession, and teachers are the quiet heroes who shape our futures.
On this day, people from all walks of life, from the elderly with silver hair to young students carrying their schoolbooks, from the plains to the mountains, from the countryside to the city, come together to celebrate and express gratitude to their teachers. From the time we were innocent children taking our first steps into school until we grow older, we can always feel our teachers guiding us, watching over every step we take. Teachers, who are like second parents, have patiently taught us to write, read, and appreciate the beauty of life. They help us build the knowledge we need for the future and prepare us to contribute to the prosperity of the nation.
Teachers not only share the treasure of human knowledge with us but also teach us how to be good people. They sacrifice so much – their time, health, and sleep to prepare lessons so we can have engaging and meaningful learning experiences. Many nights, teachers stay awake grading papers, ensuring we have feedback for the next day's lessons. With their warm voices, teachers impart valuable knowledge and life lessons, teaching us about kindness, love, and sacrifice.
We, as students, have received endless love and care from them. Though we sometimes made mistakes, were rude, or lazy in our studies, they never gave up on us. And when we did well, their faces lit up with joy. We realize that every success in our lives is built on the love and guidance of our teachers. As we move forward in our careers and life, we must never forget the sacrifices of those who helped us become who we are. Time may pass, and we may go on different paths, but the lessons, the warmth, and the teachings of our teachers will stay with us forever.
When we have grown and become successful, we will always remember the boatman who helped us cross the river – our teachers. Even though many of us may never return to visit the schools or teachers who shaped our lives, we know they will continue their quiet, noble work, guiding future generations toward greatness. As we become the leaders and achievers of tomorrow, the teachings of our beloved teachers will remain the foundation of our lives, through both triumph and adversity. On this special day, we express our deepest gratitude:
"Teacher, when we leave the classroom, The boat we once sailed on crosses the river in silence, And you, the patient boatman, Guide each generation of students to the shores of the future. Time continues its relentless flow, But for a moment, let us pause, To say: 'Goodbye, Teacher.'"

3. Essay in Celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day 20-11
Teacher! These two sacred words resonate from the deepest part of the human soul with affection. Dostoevsky once famously said, 'Under the shining rays of the sun, there is no profession more noble than that of teaching.' Truly, the teaching profession is the most honorable of all, and the teacher is the quietest yet most profound hero.
From the time we were young, uncertain students carrying our schoolbags to the classroom, until we grew up, we could always feel our teachers watching over every step we took. Teachers, our second parents at school, patiently shaped our handwriting, our essays, and our knowledge. They gave us the wings of wisdom, guiding us toward a future where we could serve and enrich our beloved country. Teachers not only helped us unlock the treasure of human knowledge but also taught us how to be good people. What we have received from every teacher in our school is immeasurable love and kindness. Many times, we were careless, disrespectful, or not diligent enough in our studies, causing our teachers to worry and feel sorrow. Yet, there were just as many times when we worked hard and proudly presented our teachers with flowers made of good grades, lighting up their faces with joyful smiles. We now realize that behind every success in life, we always have the footprints and loving guidance of our teachers to thank. As we move forward in our careers and life, leaving behind our schools and hometowns, we will forever remember the debt we owe to our teachers, those who have accompanied us through countless years of schooling.

4. Tribute Article for Vietnamese Teachers' Day
Have you ever found yourself unexpectedly thinking about your teachers while going through life? Remembering those who guided and supported you through your educational journey?
Teachers! Those sacred words resonate deeply within our hearts, filled with endless gratitude. How can we ever truly express our thanks for all their efforts and sacrifices? Let me offer this humble tribute of love to our teachers:
"To cross over, you must build a bridge, To learn, you must love your teacher."
The teaching profession is the most noble of all professions, and teachers are the quiet heroes who shape our lives. Their work is silent but profoundly meaningful, like bees gathering nectar from flowers to create the sweetest and most valuable honey for the world.
From our earliest, uncertain steps in school to adulthood, teachers have always been by our side. They shaped our every step, our first words, our heartfelt essays, and our emotional poems. There were nights when teachers stayed up late to:
"By the desk, we worked tirelessly, Struggling beneath the dim light."
Oh, the vast love of teachers! Under the flickering light, their eyes focused so intently to help us learn. Yet they sacrificed their sleep and health, grading papers for their students, only to rise the next morning and see red ink marking our test papers, filled with thoughtful feedback and corrections. We proudly showed each other our grades, and our hearts overflowed with joy. Teachers also spent late nights preparing lessons to ensure that we had something valuable to learn the next day.
With their warm and melodic voices, teachers introduced us to the wonders of life, teaching us about morality, love, and compassion. They instilled in us the virtues of kindness, selflessness, and sacrifice.
As the saying goes, "First comes the devil, then the ghost, and finally the student," how could we avoid mischief? In those moments, teachers would gently frown, their faces turning serious. But with their patience and sacrifice, they turned discipline into valuable lessons. After such moments, we found ourselves moved, eyes filled with tears, hearts filled with boundless respect for our teachers. Even after graduation, teachers continue to silently watch over their students, guiding them from afar.
Teachers are always ready to help when needed. As we walk through life, some of us follow the path of fame and fortune, while others take different paths to make a living. But teachers are always watching over us. They rejoice in our success and feel sorrow when we face hardships.
Time marches on, like an invisible carriage rolling forward, while teachers continue their quiet and noble work, guiding one generation after another toward a bright future. Few ever return to visit the boatman who carried them across the river.
This is a harsh truth, but the boatmen continue their noble work. Oh, how great and noble are our teachers! Soon, the young birds of yesterday will spread their wings in the vast sky of knowledge, carrying with them the wisdom and teachings of their teachers. These teachings will stay with us through the years, always providing support and strength in times of difficulty, guiding us to live good lives.

5. Tribute to the Pioneers
As time passes swiftly, another Vietnamese Teachers' Day is upon us. Every day we walk into our beloved school, a strange feeling stirs within us. Another year has passed, another 20/11 season, another cycle of rain and sunshine, joy and sorrow. For our teachers, it is a lifetime of silently guiding us. The gratitude we feel for them is immeasurable! Teachers have taught us to cry, to laugh in the face of life's challenges, to rise again after falling, and to pick up the thorns on the road to protect those who follow. Teachers have taught us the meaning of sacrifice, the essence of life, how to love our families and our homeland. They have shown us the value of time, the importance of integrity, and how to keep our hearts pure so we can hold our heads high among our peers. Teachers have guided countless generations of students across the river of knowledge. The river flows on, while their hair turns gray, yet they still steer the boat, devoted to the younger generations. So many students have crossed this river—how many dreams have reached the shore? How many hopes have come true? How many ever look back at the journey that brought them here?
There were times when we misbehaved, when we were distracted and mischievous, causing our teachers sorrow. Seeing the sweat on their brows and hearing their gentle words of guidance, we understood.
We know that the greatest joy and happiness for our teachers is seeing us excel, seeing us become better people, and watching us, the youth of today and tomorrow, succeed and contribute to building our homeland.
On this 20/11, Vietnamese Teachers' Day, we, the students of this class, would like to express our deepest gratitude to our teachers. We wish for their health and strength to continue guiding us on our journey toward the future.

6. Gratitude to Teachers
The weather is turning colder as winter approaches, and Vietnamese Teachers' Day is just around the corner. The memories of the teachers' love and guidance suddenly resurface, bringing deep emotions to our hearts.
Time has passed so quickly! It feels like just yesterday I began my journey as a student. Nearly ten years have flown by since my first day of school, and for those ten years, the kindness and dedication of my teachers have accompanied every step of my learning. Now, here we are in the Vietnam-Germany school, in 10 TN1, with new teachers, yet in just two months we’ve already felt the warmth and affection our teachers have shown us. At times, we feel like first graders again, still shy and unsure as we step into class.
What stands out most from all the teachers we have is their boundless love. Many times I’ve caught glimpses of their worry when we were not behaving well. But I’ve also seen the bright smiles that make them look younger whenever we put in the effort to learn. Truly, they are the architects of our souls!
Our teachers have worked tirelessly for us without hesitation. Yet, sometimes we don’t realize this, which causes them distress. We’ve arrived unprepared for class, claiming that the lesson was too difficult to study. But we fail to understand how much effort they put into preparing the lessons every night, so that we can learn better.
Why don’t we realize that on some nights when the power goes out, while we sleep soundly, our teachers are still up by the light of a candle, grading papers and correcting mistakes? There are countless times when we’ve been thoughtless and reckless. Yet, teachers always forgive us with love and care. Oh, how wonderful our teachers are!
And when I was recognized as an excellent student, praised by my parents, friends, and everyone around me, I knew that behind that achievement was the sweat and warmth of my teachers. I am like a flower, and my teacher is the soil. The flower thrives thanks to the soil, which nurtures and shapes its beauty. But people praise the flower’s beauty and often forget the roots that nurtured it.
But the soil never complains, it continues to nourish the flower’s beauty day after day. Likewise, teachers, like the flowing water, teach us without asking for anything in return. Therefore, we, the flowers, must always remember our roots and express our gratitude. Though no words can fully express our gratitude, we must show our appreciation by honoring the tradition of remembering those who’ve helped us. Sometimes, gratitude is as simple as visiting our teachers during the holidays or special occasions, and this small act will encourage them in their teaching.
Another spring is approaching. We are one year older, and our teachers’ hair has turned even grayer. Their gray hair is a symbol of their sacrifices for a brighter future for all of us. Teachers are shining examples, guiding lights leading us toward a better future. Someday, when we leave home and enter university to continue our education, the road ahead will be wide open.
The path to the future is paved by our teachers, and no matter how far we go, no matter what position we hold in society, the images of our beloved teachers will remain in our hearts, encouraging and guiding us throughout our lives. Today, as our class gathers together, we want to offer our teachers the freshest flowers, not just as a token of appreciation but as a promise: we will strive to be better and live up to their expectations. Besides our parents, teachers are everything. They have given us the wings to fly into the world. In my heart, I will always whisper, "Forever grateful to our teachers!"

7. Editorial for Vietnamese Teachers' Day
"Every day, carrying my books to school,
The love of parents and teachers is my guiding light."
These poetic lines echo in the heart of every person. From the moment we are born, parents give us life, nurture us, and provide us with love. Then, as we step into a new phase of life by going to school, we meet new parents – our teachers – who nourish us with the milk of knowledge and wisdom. We are forever indebted to their love and care, and today, on Vietnam Teachers' Day, we take this opportunity to express our gratitude and share our thoughts about our dear teachers.
Oh, dear teachers! The words 'teacher' and 'mentor' will stay in my heart forever. No matter how far I go in life, I will never fully grasp the lessons you have taught me. Even as I ascend to great heights, I know the hands that lifted me are yours, ever tireless, ever guiding.
“The time has passed, but the seasons change,
Many boats have crossed this river, and the river flows further down.
The love of teachers, a lifetime debt that can never be repaid,
Even as life takes me over countless bridges.”
Someone once said, “The school years are like the foundation of a building being laid…” I, like many others, played and laughed, sometimes unknowingly breaking the bricks of my own life. I never realized that behind me, there were teachers, who, over the years, quietly wished for my growth, silently hoping for me to mature. And now, when I realize this, I feel a wave of longing and regret.
“Another exam season, like all before,
The sunlight glows in the eyes of eager students,
The white chalk on the blackboard, the teacher's handwriting still there,
But why can’t I find the days gone by?”
The days of old, full of memories, are gone, never to return. But the memories of those school days, under the care and guidance of our teachers, will never fade. The love and respect we have for them goes beyond today. It is a tradition, one passed down through generations, as our parents taught us to honor our teachers.
Born into this world, no one can predict their future. But we all understand that knowledge is the seed our teachers plant in our hearts. The fruit, sweet and abundant, depends on the nurturing care we receive under their guidance. Teachers, like silent gardeners, have always cultivated us, expecting nothing in return. Few return to their old schools, just as the trees grow tall, but the roots remain firmly in the ground, supporting the next generation. Teachers continue to believe that above them, there is a higher truth that guides their silent work.
We want to express our gratitude to our teachers, but no words can fully capture their contributions. It is a promise we make to ourselves: to be good students, to honor their teachings, and to live up to the sacrifices they made. When you step into life, you embark on a journey of self-discovery. The knowledge you gain is your tool to navigate through life’s challenges, and teachers are the ones who equip you with it.
From the first day we learned the numbers, the letters, to today when we have grown and gathered some knowledge of our own, we realize that life is not always smooth. Challenges and failures may shake your confidence, and you may feel lost, unsure if you can continue. But in those moments, remember the bamboo – bending under the storm, but always growing again. The roots of the bamboo, much like the lessons taught by our teachers, work quietly, nurturing the new shoots that grow and reach for the sky.
“Old bamboo gives rise to new shoots,
And that’s the way it should be.”
Just like the bamboo, the new shoots grow from the nourishment the old bamboo provides. This is how our teachers work – nurturing, teaching, and preparing us for the future. They are like the bamboo, giving without asking for anything in return. But what about us? Should we wait until a special occasion like Teachers’ Day to show our gratitude, or do we think we can repay them only when life gets better, when we have completed our studies or secured a stable job?

8. The Teaching Profession
No matter the era, the teaching profession has never been compared to artists in terms of fame, to businessmen in terms of wealth, or to other professions in terms of abundance. However, few have more richness in affection than teachers. In the past, being a teacher meant being close to the blackboard and chalk. Today, the image of a teacher is now associated with modern teaching tools. While there are occasional negative stories about teachers that stir public opinion, the Vietnamese tradition of honoring teachers remains unchanged. It is truly a joy for teachers to have their own day of celebration, filled with flowers and well-wishes. It is an honor for them to watch their students grow and spread out across the world. It is moving when a great teacher passes away and generations of students bow in respect to their wisdom and character. Just as all rivers flow into the sea, November 20th is a time to express the deepest feelings for teachers. Some sincere wishes include: "On the occasion of Vietnam Teachers' Day, I wish my teachers good health, happiness, and success in nurturing future talents for our country. I thank all the teachers who have shaped me into a good citizen. I will do my best to contribute my small part to building a prosperous nation. On this special day, on behalf of my class, I send the most beautiful flowers to express our gratitude. Thanks to the teachers for shaping us into university students, preparing us to become the future leaders of the country. I thank you so much and wish you continued success in your teaching career." "A teacher is a lifelong guide"—on this Teachers' Day, we should be grateful to all the teachers who have guided us. But learning doesn’t only happen in school; it takes place anywhere, with role models around us. I wonder, will there come a time when we celebrate Vietnam Teachers' Day not only for those who work in the education sector but also for everyone who has taught us valuable lessons in life? Once again, I thank all the teachers who have helped me grow into who I am today and to all those who have given me life lessons."

9. The First Lesson
The teacher quietly nurtures the seedlings of life, only to grow old by the time the young plants begin to thrive. Her graying hair still holds traces of chalk dust, and the passage of time is marked on the sleeves of her worn-out blouse.
In today's hectic world, everything seems swept away by the tide of time, and the visits to see the teacher have become fewer and fewer. She has forgotten her own happiness, dedicating her life entirely to teaching young minds. Now, in her twilight years, she still yearns to give, to immerse herself in the world of children. She loves their innocent eyes and smiles, and with her modest pension, she buys a small cart to sell snacks to the children.
Standing quietly, I watch her gently pat the heads of the children, her kind eyes and warm smile filling me with emotion. Teacher, I am here, the little student you once cared for.
In that poignant moment, both she and I wept. She embraced me without saying a word, her once dark hair blending with the white strands, and the warmth of those days seemed to return as if it were just yesterday. She shared with me many stories of her life as a teacher, filled with both joy and sorrow.
And I realized something: her heart still burns with passion, a passion that nurtured my soul and inspired my dreams. That day passed too quickly, and as I left, I saw her watching me with affectionate eyes, a gaze that left my heart restless. I love her so much, but what can I do?
This is what teachers are like. Some students grow up and never return to visit their teachers, yet she still waits. The life of a teacher finds its joy only in these moments, and only when we are far away do we understand the lessons learned from their strictness, which have become the invaluable lessons that guide us through life.
I wish for her good health, so I can continue to feel the warmth of her embrace.
My teacher's hair is now streaked with gray.
How can I express all the love you gave me?
Endless days of childhood
Echo in the memories of the teacher I once knew.
Sweat poured out in the midday heat
For the younger students, she braved both sun and rain.
Through all the years, teacher, oh teacher!
You poured your life into nurturing us, so that one day our lives could bloom.

10. Reflections on the Teacher
In every person's life, the greatest fortune we can have is a loving mother, who protects and nurtures us. But the second greatest blessing is having a teacher. Teacher! Those sacred words resonate deeply in our hearts. As Dostoevsky once said, 'Under the gleaming rays of the sun, there is no profession more noble than teaching.' This is undeniably true, for teaching is a noble profession. Teachers dedicate their hearts and minds to the classroom, imparting valuable knowledge that helps students grow, mature, and thrive. How can this work not be beautiful? How can it not be worthy of respect? Every year, on November 20th, people from all walks of life—from the elderly with their silver hair to young children carrying school bags—across all regions of our country, from North to South, from the countryside to the cities, come together to express their heartfelt gratitude to their teachers.
From the days when we were shy students standing nervously beside our parents on the first day of school, to becoming adults who see our school as a second family, we always know that our teachers are watching over every step we take. Teachers, our second parents, carefully shaped our writing, our literature, and our values. They taught us to appreciate life, to be optimistic, and to embrace each day with a positive outlook. Teachers give us the wings of knowledge to soar into the future, to protect, preserve, and enrich our country. They opened the door to the treasure chest of human knowledge, helping us understand life and mature as individuals. These second parents have sacrificed so much for us. They gave up their sleep and health to prepare lessons so that we could enjoy meaningful, interesting, and beneficial lessons. Teachers spent sleepless nights grading our assignments, so that the next day, every student would have feedback filled with care and dedication. In the classroom, with their warm and affectionate voices, teachers impart valuable knowledge and teach us about morality, love, kindness, and compassion. Teachers instill in us the values of tolerance and selflessness.
What I, along with the 32 members of class 9A3 at Nam Hai Secondary School, received from all of our teachers at this school was boundless love, care, and gentleness. I know that there were times when we were not diligent, when we did not study or complete our assignments, causing our teachers sorrow and concern. Yet, when we worked hard and behaved well, we gifted them with flowers of good grades, which brought radiant smiles to their faces. I now understand that behind every success we achieve in life, there are the footprints, the help, and the patient guidance of our teachers. One day, when we leave our beloved Nam Hai school, when we leave our homeland and country, we will always remember that the reason we are who we are today is due to the dedication of our teachers. Their sweat and warmth helped us become valuable individuals. Therefore, no matter how much we grow or succeed in life, we will never forget the kindness of our teachers. Their images will forever be etched in our hearts, and we will carry their wisdom with us for the rest of our lives. Time passes quietly, and teachers continue their silent, noble work, guiding generation after generation of students to the shores of the future. How many of us will return to thank the boatman who ferried us across the river of knowledge? A sad truth, but these teachers continue their invaluable work. One day, those students will become the leaders of our country, bringing glory to Vietnam. When they succeed in their careers, these students will return like birds flying home to the place that nurtured them. The lessons and love they received from their teachers will always be their guiding light, supporting them through all the ups and downs of life.
Finally, the class of 9A3 at Nam Hai Secondary School wishes all our teachers a meaningful and joyful November 20th. We wish you all good health and happiness. You will forever remain in our hearts, no matter how far we go.

11. Editorial: The Teacher's Words of Wisdom
The teacher once told us that a heart that does not know how to forgive is a heart that has died. A person who cannot forgive is as cold and hard as stone.
To those who continue to row their boats across the river of time, I send my heartfelt regards, especially to you, my teacher, who tirelessly steers through the currents of life.
I still vividly remember you, standing at the front of the classroom. Your hair touched with gray, an old briefcase in hand, and a smile etched with the marks of time, accompanying us through the final years of our youth, where we were growing but not yet wise.
Chalk dust would fall, as you wrote on the blackboard, settling into our young souls, imparting life lessons along the way.
Back then, we didn’t understand that every person must have a dream, whether simple, modest, or grand. The blackboard, the blank pages of notebooks, and your teachings were the path leading us to our first dreams!
At that time, we only knew of fairies and ogres in stories. We didn’t realize that life was a complex puzzle, and only through experience would we understand the true solution to it.
You taught us that to step into life, we need to have eyes that see clearly and a heart that knows love. We must treat others with kindness and avoid the manipulation and selfishness of the cruel ones.
Back then, we didn’t understand that “forgiveness” was the most beautiful verb after “love.” You taught us not to turn our backs on those who have admitted their mistakes, not to shut the door on those who have acknowledged their wrongs, and never to be cruel to those who seek to make amends. A heart that cannot forgive is dead, and a person who cannot forgive is as lifeless as stone.
At that time, we didn’t know that the friend covered in mud was only helping his father work in the fields, or that the girl who occasionally nodded off in class had stayed up all night taking care of her sick mother. We didn’t realize that the boy sitting beside us had a sick relative and missed school often because of it.
We were just innocent children, viewing life through naive eyes, unaware that behind every person’s story is a long tale waiting to be understood.
You taught us to observe and care for those around us. We learned to cherish the things we thought were ordinary, but in fact, they are incredibly valuable. For there may come a time when love becomes too late, when neglect and indifference have already widened the gap between people.
Back then, we didn’t understand that life is full of twists and turns. The bends, the winding paths, the uphill struggles are all an inseparable part of it. Don’t dream of life being a straight line. If life had no detours, it would lose much of its meaning.
You also taught us to lift our heads high in the face of failure, never to stop when the road ahead is still filled with obstacles. More than half of my life has been lived according to your teachings, and I have grown a little more, teacher.
No matter the winter’s chill, the summer’s heat, the scorching sun, or the storms, the boatman still tirelessly rows the boat, bringing passengers across the river.
No matter the cold wind, the late night, or the thin shirt, you, my teacher, still row through the nights, illuminating us with your wisdom.
On this Teacher’s Day, I wish you good health and continued success in your work. We will always remember the impact you’ve had on us.

12. A Tribute to Our Teachers
On the cool early winter days, as we celebrate Vietnam's Teacher's Day on November 20th, countless students find themselves overwhelmed with emotions. The memories of our school years and deep gratitude toward our beloved teachers flood our minds. Teachers have given wings to our dreams, helping us acquire the knowledge to navigate life and succeed academically. The late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong once said, "Teaching is the noblest profession of all noble professions."
Beyond our parents, teachers are everything.
They gave us the wings to fly into life.
In our hearts, we silently vow:
"To honor our teachers forever!"
Teachers are even more amazing because they do not just fulfill their roles in the classroom but also guide us in life. They teach us to cherish a blooming flower, appreciate a single leaf, love the songs of birds at dawn, and recognize the value of a greeting, the beauty of a smile, and the warmth of a hand. Through them, we learned to look forward to the blooming of purple flowers and to appreciate the green canopy above us from the classroom window, feeling our hearts beat faster. Every morning as we arrived at school, we learned to love the bright smiles of our teachers and classmates even more.
Teachers have dedicated much of their lives to shaping generations of students. Sleepless nights spent preparing lessons, early mornings spent at the podium, and the joy of witnessing their students grow are the true rewards for teachers. They have sacrificed their own small dreams for the sake of their students. Their love for teaching and for children has been a source of strength, driving them to continually improve and devote themselves to the noble task of educating. Every teacher is a shining example of integrity and values for their students to follow.
In moments of failure or when we felt like giving up, the warm hands of our teachers lifted us up, teaching us how to heal our wounds. Their guidance has permeated our hearts every day, giving us the confidence to embark on new journeys. As we grow older, our teachers' hair also turns gray, their sacrifices marking the passage of time. Their gray hair symbolizes the eternal spring of our homeland and the growth of generations of children. Teachers, you are the perfect role models, the sacred torch guiding us forward.
As time silently passes, we realize that we cannot "stop the sun" nor "tie the wind" to hold onto the memories of our school days, our teachers, and the friendships we made. On this Teacher's Day, we send our deepest gratitude to our teachers and wish you good health, unwavering faith, and continued dedication to the noble cause of education.

13. The Boatman
As late autumn arrives, the sun’s heat softens, and a sweet chill carried by the winds fills the air. November is here. We are all busy, caught up in the whirlwind of daily life—studying, working, or relaxing. Yet, we must not forget a very special day in this month: Vietnam’s Teacher’s Day, November 20th. This is a time when society—everyone, from those with gray hair to young children just beginning school, from the successful professionals to the humble farmers—comes together to express gratitude to the teachers who shaped their lives.
"Through the years of sunshine and rain,
The teacher’s boat carries many through,
Across the river, leaving smiles behind,
With love, we dedicate it to our dear teacher."
Teachers are the ones who taught us how to write our first letters, when our hands were still trembling. They are the ones who carry the boat of knowledge, guiding us to beautiful places in life. Teachers endure our mischievous pranks during our childhood, and they are the ones who enrich our minds with poems, songs, and lessons in science, mathematics, and more. As Pham Van Dong once said: "Teaching is the noblest profession among all noble professions." Truly, teachers are our second parents, nurturing us with wisdom and love.
We will never forget the sacrifices our teachers have made for us. So, today, on November 20th, our class would like to extend our warmest wishes to all teachers, especially those at school YY. We wish you good health, success, and continued strength as you carry the boat of knowledge to future generations.
Teachers, please forgive us for our mischief at times, our laziness, and our poor grades. We understand that behind your reprimands, punishments, and gentle words is a deep desire for us to grow into better people. We promise to study hard, respect your teachings, and honor the effort you’ve put into our lives.
Even though, as time passes, your hair turns gray and your hands grow weary, the knowledge you’ve imparted continues to guide us through life’s journey. No matter where we go, whether to the furthest corners of the country or to the highest peaks of success, we will always remember you. Once again, we thank you, our noble and great teachers.

14. Teacher-Student Bond
In everyone's life, besides our parents who gave us life, teachers hold a special place. For us students still in school, teachers are like second parents.
Teachers—the two sacred words that only the deserving students are allowed to speak. They are the ones who guide us through our personal journeys in life, helping us reach for our dreams. It's often said that teachers are like boatmen guiding their students. When the school year ends, it feels like the boat has reached its destination. And in that journey, countless lessons and experiences unfold.
Teachers teach us that life is filled with difficulties and challenges, but it also offers abundant joy and surprises. Thanks to their constant support and guidance, we’ve been able to overcome all obstacles, ultimately reaching the shores of knowledge, a joy that is shared by both students and teachers.
What teachers do for us is as sacred and noble as the sacrifices made by our parents. Everyone has experienced school years, a time filled with dreams, fleeting ideas, and youthful mischief. Teachers are the ones who transform our lives, molding us step by step along the path of education.
From the moment we could barely speak, we were brought to kindergarten to become familiar with school. It was there that teachers taught us manners and how to behave properly. Day by day, we climbed higher on the ladder of knowledge, with our teachers watching over us.
Whether it's a good grade, a brilliant idea, or a small mistake, a forgotten lesson—teachers take note of it all, offering praise or gentle reminders. They are the quiet hands that guide us to the summit of knowledge, preparing us for a bright future ahead.
We are proud to be students of Nguyen Hue School, not only because we are in a wonderful learning environment but also because we’ve been fortunate enough to be taught by dedicated and capable teachers.
Here, teachers are not just educators but also second parents. They are always ready to listen to our questions and concerns, and they even bring joy and laughter into our lives when we feel stressed during class.
Teachers patiently listen to our worries, smile at our polite greetings, and feel sad when we misbehave.
Perhaps teachers never allow themselves to cry when a student goes astray, choosing instead to remain steadfast in their commitment to teaching. Yes, every action, big or small, is cherished because it reflects the boundless love teachers have for us.
In this life, there are many deeply sacred and meaningful relationships: a mother's love, a father's care, sibling bonds, and the teacher-student relationship. Each one carries its own unique significance. Teachers have shown us the true meaning of the teacher-student relationship—a profound and genuine connection.
We will forever be grateful to our teachers. On November 20th, we will offer them a bouquet of perfect scores, symbolizing our deepest gratitude for all they have done for us.
We understand that our gratitude can never fully match the love they have given us. But we will try our best to make them proud so that they can smile with satisfaction. Teachers, you will always guide us through life. We will continue to work hard to honor your trust. Please believe in us!

15. The Sail of Knowledge
A ship sets sail when its sail catches the wind, gliding over the waves and overcoming vast oceans to reach its desired destination. On this ship, the teacher is the captain, we, the students, are the crew, and the sail of knowledge is our guiding force. The fuller the sail, the faster the ship moves...
"Through sun and rain, the boat of knowledge sails, With the teacher guiding many on their journey, Across the river, smiles remain, Love is the gift we offer to the teacher we revere."
In the vast ocean of knowledge, countless ships and crews venture forth, seeking new horizons. Teachers—those skilled captains—stand by us, helping us navigate through the distant and challenging seas, opening new paths filled with light.
Oh, teachers! You are the noble and sacred ones, the captains who work tirelessly day and night, steering us safely to port, guiding the younger generations onto new paths. How can we ever fully express our gratitude for all you've done? Despite the storms and rough seas, your sails remain full, and the ship sails boldly across the waves. For us, your love is like the lighthouse that guides ships lost at sea, providing light and hope in the midst of powerful storms.
Today, we are growing under your care, learning knowledge and valuable experiences that will help us become future captains, continuing the noble and sacred journey of guiding the next generation toward the shores of wisdom.
On Vietnam Teachers' Day, November 20th, we offer our deepest love and admiration to our teachers. With heartfelt respect, we dedicate these words of gratitude to the ones who guide us.
