1. Just Another Regular Day
Valentine’s Day is nothing special
Spend the whole day streaming movies instead
No need to rush buying gifts
No worries about thinning out my wallet
Valentine’s Day isn’t all that fun
They go out and I stay in, no loss
Plenty of time to download high-quality films
And chat away without a care
Valentine’s Day is calm and serene
Just me, no need to spend a dime
No worries about being ripped off
Just chilling at home like royalty
Valentine’s Day doesn’t take much effort
No gifts, no roses, no romantic dates
No fancy dinners or heart-shaped surprises
Just another regular day, feels like nothing at all.

2. Every Valentine’s Day
Every Valentine’s Day comes around
And poor parents at home bear the brunt
Girls are bold, no shyness here
Handing out chocolates, without a care
Every Valentine’s Day comes around
And sometimes I hide in my room
Afraid girls might start a chat
Then trick me into their love spell too soon
Every Valentine’s Day comes around
I pretend I’m out all day
Afraid to cause my sisters' hearts to race
Worry they might fight over me in dismay
Every Valentine’s Day comes around
Oh well, I won’t brag today
I’ve got a date with destiny
Off to the clinic for another shot, okay.

3. February Fourteenth
Tomorrow is February fourteenth,
One of the worst days of the year,
Hoping for a storm or heavy rain,
Hotels hike prices, the power goes down
Flowers cost millions, one single stem,
Chocolates are awful, stuffed bears with holes again.

4. Praying for Rain on Valentine’s Day
Tomorrow’s Valentine’s Day,
I sit here, feeling sorry for myself
Guess I’ll stay home and pray,
Hoping for rain all day long
Writing a prayer to the gods,
Asking for rain from noon till evening
So couples freeze in the cold air,
While chocolates melt and hearts break
With wet clothes and soggy treats,
Let the rain come down and flood the streets
I’ll ask the gods of FA to bring the storm,
So they’ll get soaked and my heart stays warm
May the weather bring a chilling breeze,
Enough to stop the lovers with ease
No thunder, no hail, just freezing rain,
That’ll be enough to ease my pain.
On this special day, I wait in vain,
For the rain to fall and wash away the strain.

5. What’s the Point of Love Now?
Up in the sky, there are gods,
On Earth, there are fools who fall for love,
For a chance lost, they lose themselves,
For fate, they drown in pain and sorrow.
Looking back, love comes before honor,
So why would one choose to bring separation?
One stands still – the other walks away,
Heavy steps and hearts that ache.
The two letters FA, empty as air,
Suddenly take hold of this poor soul.
Once held a lover’s hand with pride,
Now alone, wondering when the pain will subside.

6. Climbing the Ladder to Ask the Gods
Climb the ladder, ask the heavens,
Why must life bring so much pain?
The sky sighs and answers,
I'm suffering too, bearing my own chains!
Climb the ladder, ask the heavens,
Can I finally let her go?
The heavens respond, with a sigh,
I haven't been freed, how could you?

7. The Single Life
The single life, oh what a joy,
Endless freedom to enjoy each day.
Cafes, pubs, and a drunken night,
Living carefree without a worry in sight.
But pity for those who leave singlehood,
Every day, they face the 'boss' for good.
Late nights out, they hear the shout,
Silently enduring, without a doubt.
Who would give up the single life,
Only to become a master of lies?
Last month's paycheck? Still not in hand,
Today's meetings... yes, yes, I'll stand.
Who would leave the single life behind,
Walking next to her, but staying blind?
If discovered, what will occur?
Broken and bruised, you won't deter.
So back to singlehood, once again,
Valentine's spent, outside in the rain.

8. Receiving Your Letter on Valentine's Day
I received your letter on Valentine's Day,
Excited and nervous, I opened it right away.
Inside, just a few words written with care,
"Tomorrow, I'm marrying someone, it's only fair."

9. Happy Valentine's Day
So happy to still be single, you see.
Comforted, I carry on with glee.
Solitude sometimes brings a sigh,
If only I could bury this body, oh my.
Love alone, I don't need grand celebration,
Bumping into people, my heart in hesitation.
But I try to stay happy, put on a show,
Heading to bed because it's about to snow.
Can't stand those who deceive, always play the part,
Sunny in the morning, stormy in the heart.
But they don't learn, still pushing their game,
Posting pictures with girls, all the same.
So here's my declaration, loud and clear,
I just want some peace, without any fear.
Being single, my heart's set free,
Just want to live my life, leave love to be.

10. The Struggles of Being Single on Valentine's
Another year of being single, yet again,
I thought I’d find a partner, maybe even a friend.
But here I am, still without a date,
Left waiting and wondering, it's all just fate.
Not even a glance, I’m left on my own,
Not a soul interested, just staring at my phone.
What’s the point of celebrating Valentine's Day,
Watching all the couples go out and play?
Husbands with their wives, hand in hand,
It makes me feel like I'm stuck in no-man's land.
Maybe I’ll stay in bed, light some incense,
Hoping for rain, some kind of recompense.
Let it pour, flood the streets and block the way,
No one can go out and enjoy the day.
But that’s just a thought, I wouldn’t dare,
Don’t want the world to think I'm unfair.
Living this lonely life, room all alone,
Watching everyone else, wishing I wasn’t on my own.
But let’s focus on work, on bettering myself,
Maybe I’ll get fit, maybe I’ll work on my health.
Get a makeover, become a handsome man,
And maybe that’s how love will come to me, as planned.
For now, I’ll walk the streets alone at night,
Wishing you all a Valentine's that's just right.
May you all get roses, chocolates, and love,
May your hearts always be blessed from above.
To all the singles like me, stuck in the grind,
May you find love and leave loneliness behind.

11. Valentine's Day Special
Today is Valentine's Day, a time for cheer,
Everywhere, there's joy, far and near.
Here I am, daring to join in the fun,
With wishes of love for everyone.
Wishing health and happiness for all,
May peace and joy reign, big and small.
For the married couples, here's my toast,
May your love last forever, that's what I boast.
For the lovers, may your night be sweet,
With love close by, in each other's heat.
For the kids, may you eat well and grow fast,
So you can find your love at last. (Hehe)
For all the singles, here's a cheer,
May this year bring change and love near.
May you find your soulmate, your better half,
And together, build a happiness that will last.

12. A Joyful Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day
For all the singles out there,
No need to worry or feel down,
Eating just adds to the round.
Valentine’s Day is so sweet,
This Friday brings a treat,
Even without a partner’s hand,
There’s still so much joy to understand.
Valentine’s wish for you all,
No more wishing for rain to fall,
Enjoy the single life, so true,
Being alone is the best for you.

13. Oh My Valentine
Tomorrow is the 14th of February
And it’s a day that makes the hearts of men heavy
Some guys go all out, buying gifts and more
But it’s just a scheme that brings trouble to the core.
Valentine’s Day is all about the show
If you can’t afford it, just go!
Don’t have money? Just disappear, quick
Unless you want a drama that’s too thick.
If there’s no gift, tell me—who’s still keen?
Girls, they’ll ignore you, this I’ve seen.
Being a guy is tough, it’s true
We get treated hard, with much ado.
Wish I were young again, free and bold
Girls chasing me, stories untold.
Now I’m old, and my looks have faded
Even a cat wouldn’t want me if I was grated.
Back in the village, life was simple and clear
But this Valentine’s stress, I don’t want to hear.
It’s a trend from the West that’s reached our land
Now we all must follow, caught in demand.
If you’re rich, you smile with ease
But for the rest of us, we just beg and plead.
If your girl’s been waiting for too long
She’ll soon be gone, and it won’t be wrong.
So if you want to see that smile again
Get ready to part with cash, my friend.
Goodbye, money, our paths now split
But I’ll make the sacrifice, just to get a bit.
Endure the pain and let it be
Next time, I’ll live the life of a carefree, happy me.
Or I’ll remain alone, no tears to shed
No regrets, no blame, no dread.
Valentine's Day is just a game, let it go.

14. The Valentine of the Lonely Hearts
Valentine's Day is almost here
Couples everywhere are filled with cheer
But here I sit, just like before
Silent and waiting, my heart feeling sore.
When will the waiting finally end?
When will this loneliness finally bend?
Has love turned its back on me?
Leaving me behind, no longer to be.
People all around are filled with affection
On this happy day, they walk in connection.
Flowers bloom in all colors and hues
While I watch, my pain anew.
I wipe my tears, swallowing my pain
Thinking, this is just a dream, all in vain.
I tell myself to sleep, to rest my mind
On Valentine’s Day, no joy I’ll find.
This is the life of a lonely soul
Watching the world, but never whole.
I wish it would rain that day
To spoil the flowers and wash them away.
Let the streets flood, let them stay home
Just like us lonely ones who roam.
Then, I’d sleep soundly, feeling warm
In a world where loneliness is the norm.

15. Valentine Reflections
It's almost here, the 14th of February
Last year, I lay in bed, covered in blankets
My parents scolded and nagged
"This useless son, always under the covers all day!"
It stings, thinking about it, makes me bitter
Handsome and stylish, yet what's the use?
I'm still alone at 30, walking by myself
When I flirt with girls, they just scoff
Turning their backs, saying they’re fed up
"I don’t like old men!"
"Please, leave, or I’ll yell at you now!"
With a heavy heart, I wrote this poem
Posted it on Facebook, hoping for a change
But years have passed, no one’s shown interest
Another year older, still longing
How can I express this tangled heart?
Valentine’s again, a distant dream
So many unsaid words fill my mind
I pray to the gods above
To help me find love, a little hope
So I don't have to lie in bed
Covered up, alone on the 14th of February.
