1. Ke Go Lake
Ke Go Lake is the largest man-made reservoir in Ha Tinh, located in Cam My Commune, Cam Xuyen District. Constructed in 1976 for irrigation purposes, it spans a natural area of 35,159 m2, winding through mountain slopes and reflecting the surrounding forests and endless mountain ranges. The area around Ke Go Lake is home to a nature reserve with a rich diversity of flora and fauna, including many rare species listed in Vietnam's Red Book. 2. Dong Loc Junction
The Dong Loc Junction Historical Site is located in Dong Loc Commune, Can Loc District. This site is closely tied to the legendary story of the 10 young women who fought in the resistance against the American forces. To protect the vital transportation routes, these women worked day and night, dedicating their youth and lives to the task, ultimately sacrificing themselves in a bombing attack. Today, the Dong Loc Junction is the final resting place of these 10 heroines, and it has been developed into a memorial site. Visitors to this place will not only be moved by its historical significance but also enveloped in the serene atmosphere, with the rustling of pine trees and the lush greenery surrounding the area.
As a major transportation hub during the war, the site was heavily targeted by U.S. bombers attempting to cut off supply lines between North and South Vietnam. The Dong Loc Junction National Historic Site has been continuously developed with many new structures, such as the graves of the 10 female volunteers, the National Youth Volunteer Memorial, the battle map display, the museum, the Dong Loc Bell Tower, the statues of the 10 female volunteers, and many other cultural and spiritual buildings under construction.

3. Cho Cui Temple
Located in Xuân Hồng Commune, Nghi Xuân District, just 200 meters from National Highway 1A, this temple sits at the foot of the imposing Ngũ Mã Mountain. This sacred temple is dedicated to Quan Hoàng Mười. The temple's halls rise in stages toward the mountain, surrounded by towering ancient trees. It is a popular destination for visitors who come to worship and admire the scenic surroundings. The ancient temple, with its poetic landscape, offers guests a peaceful and meditative atmosphere, immersing them in its sacred ambiance.
Chợ Củi Temple, according to legend, is the final resting place of Quan Hoàng Mười. The 10th day of the 10th lunar month marks his birth anniversary and is considered the main celebration day, attracting numerous visitors who come to pay their respects. Along the Lam River, offerings such as flags, books, and pens are made, hoping for prosperity, success in exams, and honoring ancestors. When calling upon Ông Mười, the songs and poems say: “Ông Mười guards Nghệ An. He served as a magistrate in Thiên Bản and the governor of Phủ Dày.”

5. The Temple of Saint Mother Nguyễn Thị Bích Châu
Situated in Hải Khẩu Hamlet, Kỳ Ninh Commune, Kỳ Anh District, this temple is built on a 4,500-square-meter sandy plot facing southeast. To the right is Khẩu Gate and Cao Vọng Mountain, while to the left lies Ô Tôn Mountain. In front is Vũng Áng Beach, and behind stands Bàn Độ Mountain. The temple is dedicated to Nguyễn Thị Bích Châu, the wife of Emperor Trần Duệ Tông, a woman of both beauty and intellect, honored with the title ‘Chế Thắng Phu Nhân.’
The temple’s architecture consists of two main areas: a secondary area with an entrance gate, pathway, main gate, and left-wing building, and a primary area with the lower, middle, and upper halls, a guest house, a shrine, and an adjoining corridor. This “spiritual tourism” site is renowned nationwide for its sacred atmosphere. Visitors here find tranquility and serenity, with their souls calmed and their daily troubles washed away.

6. 9th Team Beach, Rào An, Hương Sơn District
9th Team Beach, Rào An (Sơn Kim 1 Commune, Hương Sơn, Hà Tĩnh) is becoming an attractive destination for both local and international visitors. Here, visitors not only enjoy fresh air and cool waters, but also experience a deeper connection to nature, fostering a greater sense of responsibility towards the environment.
Rào An Beach is part of the operations managed by the Rào An Agricultural, Forestry, and Ecological Cooperative. Initially, it was a wild, spontaneous beach where locals would gather to relax and cool off during the hot summer days. After the establishment of the cooperative in 2015, the beach came under its management. To ensure safety and cleanliness, the area was developed with facilities such as shelters, roads, trash bins, and security personnel.

9. Trại Tiểu Lake Ecotourism Area
Trại Tiểu Lake Ecotourism Area spans a vast area of 21 square kilometers. The highlight of this location is the expansive lake, a captivating feature that draws visitors in with its natural beauty. Surrounded by lush green mountains, the air is fresh and invigorating. This site is not only a vital irrigation project but also an attractive ecotourism destination.
Visitors can hike up the breezy pine-covered hills, enjoying the sound of rustling pines, or relax on a boat ride across the cool, clear waters of the lake. From here, they can venture upstream to explore remnants of the war or visit prosperous farms that produce abundant fruits and valuable goods year-round. In addition to the boat rides, fishing under the moonlight, and staying in floating houses, visitors can also enjoy local delicacies such as chạch rú om (grilled fish), gà ri rang muối (salted chicken), cá chình (eel), and lợn nít (baby pigs).

10. Vũ Quang National Park
Vũ Quang National Park (formerly Vũ Quang Nature Reserve) is located in Hương Sơn District (Hà Tĩnh) at an average altitude of over 800 meters above sea level. The area has a tropical monsoon climate with an average annual temperature of 23°C and annual rainfall of 2,304.5 mm. Vũ Quang lies in an important position along the Trường Sơn mountain range, nestled between Pù Mát National Park to the north and Phong Nha - Kẻ Bàng National Park to the south. It is not only a natural reserve but also a historic site, marking significant events in the Cần Vương movement against French colonization, led by Phan Đình Phùng in the late 19th century.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere of the area. Cửa Nhượng is located in Cẩm Nhượng Commune, once known as Nhượng Bạn village. The name is explained by local people as referring to the land, or shore, that was ‘given away’—a reference to a legend involving Hoàng Càn, a concubine of King Trần Khoáng, who negotiated with neighboring villagers to allow fishermen to settle there. The best time to explore Cửa Nhượng Fish Village is at dawn, when the market is bustling and lively. The sunrise over the sea is stunning, with a fresh and comfortable atmosphere, the shimmering silver reflections on the waves, and the boats bobbing up and down, creating a colorful and harmonious watercolor scene.

12. Hoành Sơn Beach
Hoành Sơn Beach is located 80 km south of Hà Tĩnh city, just under 2 km from Ngang Pass. The beach is famous for its fine white sand, pristine surroundings, and romantic atmosphere. Surrounded by mountains, the beach is sheltered and calm, with crystal-clear waters. This location offers a perfect blend of both coastal and mountainous climates. From the beach, you can see the Hoành Sơn mountain range stretching from the Trường Sơn mountains to the East Sea. There are also scattered rock formations that extend from the mountains into the sea, such as the ‘Jumping Rocks’ found on many central beaches.
