13. Krang Kroch Pagoda
Krang Kroch Pagoda, also known as Prochum Meáp Chhưm Kiriram (alternatively known as Krang Kroch), located in An Hoa hamlet, Chau Lang commune, Tri Ton, is the only pagoda in the province with a line of ancient banyan trees extending from the gate to the inside, with a history spanning hundreds of years. This characteristic makes people almost forget the real name of the pagoda, only affectionately calling it 'hanging banyan tree pagoda'.
The pagoda is located on the main road, but if one is not careful, visitors from afar will not find it. Because the pagoda gate is covered with moss, fog, hidden among the houses, not as colorful as other Khmer pagoda gates. But just stepping through the gate, a beautiful sight greets the eyes: the path leading into the pagoda stretches along the line of hanging banyan trees, each tree with massive branches that can only be embraced by 2-3 people. The branches of the trees converge, forming a natural canopy, shading the path, bringing a sense of tranquility.
